yes randoms try to form a blob behind some island all the time. Makes them lose 0:3 caps while still getting dropped. If anything you'll give the cv an advantage since he will use the islands as AA Cover. After 9 Months you should be aware of that. How can you avoid somebody that can reach every Corner of the map within a total max of 1,5minutes And show Broadside to the Rest of the enemy Team while the CV will just allign his 2nd torp drop and hit you

T4 + 6 sind momentan extrem broken weil die AA quasi nicht vorhanden ist. das sieht man auch gut daran dass die Spielerzahlen mit 0.8.7 im lowtier um ~3% hoch sind wärend hightier bei ca. 2% hängt. Der minimale Anstieg kann auch shcon durch die mission für CV zu erklären sein (500k dmg). Auch die OP Hosho ist noch net gepatcht. -

Its totally fine if this isn't your Cup of Tea but let me tell you this: Every MOBA out there requires a healthy competitive Scene to keep the Game alive, and Games like WoT or WoWS are no Exception here. Be it for someone to look up to, generating hype around the Game or (which is quite an interesting point in regards to this thread) see what top players can do with certain classes, what synergies and even bugs they may find. PvP based games are centered around measuring ones own capabilities against others. Without this spicing on top most games would become "blunt", a gray mass without no real point in playing since there's basically nothing to achieve here. Just my 2 Cents

@Allied_Winter you are missing 2 big points: clan battles and tournaments. When you just accept that those things are op with good players you kill off the competitive scene with the same swipe of your hand. It didnt matter that much with rts sonce even godlike cvs hardly pumped out more then 50k since they where countered by a unicum on the other side and a whole different level of AA. Introducing CVs into comp right now will kill the scene, mark my words. There are more then enough top tier clans that would instantly bail out if those things would be allowed in a 6v6, 7v7 or 9v9. you can also see it with the participation numbers for KotS, they have a record right now with 97 clan applications IIRC AND 21 /24 hurricane clans. and this is hugely thanks to the fact we won't see cvs again, unlike the 1st tournament this year where many good players didn't participate at all while rest responded with one voice "this was a sh*tshow" its hard to type long texts on mobile -_-

Its really sad that he still thinks he's right, even so i basically f'd him up with a stats dev strike. Can't help it, he just wants to keep his OP ships :) Who needs stats if you can just listen to Pikko instead, all other unicum cvs just dont know what they are talking about anyway

I mean it shouidn't come as a Surprise that ppl like broken ships, thats why Smolensk has 100% more players at the moment then the next t10 Cruiser in the game. The same goes for the CVs, as well as the popularity you tried to show as "declining". Try to remember all the Things that have been done to CVs from 2016 to 2018 and you will realize "oh, ppl dont wanna play it cause the class has been nerfed while AA has been tweaked" You can also see the same Phenomenon with Patch 0.8.0.1 and 0.8.6, where the popularity drops BELOW rts. So basically you just proved yourself wrong :)

Show me that Graph please, i just showed how wide the Gap between top and bottom players on CVs is right now, so i really want to see something that proves that wrong. I was super unicum before and i'm super unicum now, nothing has changed except that i despite CVs as they are right now and have little to no fun playing them. The Screenshot where i said "unicums will be unicums" is from my own stats btw. As if I would suddenly forget how to leftclick my mouse mid season.... Good luck with stats shaming . But it would be nice to see some Facts for once as you haven't delivered any in nearly 1 year, neither here nor in the german forum.

There are still the same Issues that have been around since January / February, there has been lots of Feedback in i dont know how many threads, and yet here we are. I alone dropped roughly 20k Characters of constructive Feedback + sevaral Twitch Videos to show certain bugs and features i consider utterly broken Like these Bugs or the sudden Airbrake for Divebombers but hey its still in the code, hooray!. Even after the WG staff itself told me that those things found their Way into their regular Meetings... Another great Example of how things tend to go wrong was the CC Summit where the Weegee guys just tried to dodge every criticism regarding this Class with "our Statistics show". Unfortunately that kinda Stuff doesn't work all to well when you have some Unicorns sitting before you that also have some in depth Knowledge of theory Crafting ;). It was super sad to watch and showed how disconnected they are from their own game. Like, bringing up a statistic that says " 22% of all players played at least 1 CV game in month xxx-> huge Success!" While my Excelsheet that i feed with Data every Week from last October until now showed a Participation of hightier CVs by ~2% of all Matches. : What kind of "Solution" are you expecting ? Everything i read as antithesis is "they are on a good way" or "wg would never release a broken product" (lol ). The interest is low while the Skillgap is huge, so in that Regard nothing has changed. There are also still players with 80+++% winrate on their carriers, with identical or even higher damage numbers then pre rework. But from a competitive PoV the current design is an absolute disaster, so let me list it again: - NO counterplay , not even 4ship blobs will stop a cv drop - NO control over your own vessel while the autopilot f's up on a regular basis - NO real danger for the CV player. I cant remember a single game where i was even close to be deplaned - NO fighterplay. Im actually using my consumeables mostly for spotting until very late game and im not the only one Long story short: THere's a constant threat you cannot counter, not even with a full aa specced mino or wooster and its exactly that which pisses ppl off so much. CVs are annoying and kill of any kind of flanking manouvers in an instant. Again, there has also been more then enough proof on last KotS and the AA has went down! since that. Its a special design for special players, thats why you see 8% lowtier participation right now. no aa and op hosho that has double the average damage towards the next cv on her tier and even has more then t6. I can't understand how this could be considered "fun", it feels like playing a coop round all the time. You dont need to care what your team does since all you do is farm damage without any danger of getting deplaned. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- So there you have your constructive criticism. Need backup for that? Either watch your own replays or i can send you mine where i can just cherrypick my enemies. Also looking forward to a "challenging" ranked season on T8

Im mean there has been a Vote for CVs for the KotS starting next Week and the participation for Carriers has been denied by a overwhelming majority. So basically everyone with more then 3 Braincells thinks the Class is so badly integrated that it will destroy the gaming experience. Yet there are still ppl "well they arent op" or "but other ships do more dmg".

Aside from Player numbers telling a differrent Story the skillgap is huge atm. But it doesn't really surprise me that you deny that since you got a giant statsboost with the new and balanced CVs :)

Good luck with that. Sorry its really hard not to be sarcastic when i went through stuff liks this again and again and again... EDIT: And teamplay is a pretty interesting argument in general. Cause guess what, RTS player always used that too ^^

CVs have ZERO counterplay in 0.8.8. Nada, niente. If the CV Skipper is competent he will rough every ship up, even if its a mniotaur and wooster. Deff AA is so bad right now that you hardly recognize a difference. I cannot understand how ppl can bring in a "but" here while keeping a straight face. You dont need a prem cv for that, a lex can do the job nearly as well as a enterprise since the values for rockets and torps are almost (or completely?) identical. The hardest CV counter is the enemy CV itself which you usually dont strike until everybody else is dead. Thats the state of the game.
