Well, im trying to se the good out of it! On my Lex there's often someone (like this prometeus Guy) that just cries about me being a noob for playing strike while im sinking the whole enemy Fleet by myself but... im geting complimented at the End of the Round. If i play well on my Ashigara it looks like this xD

joa deswegen spielt man ja 12vs12 und net 1on1 ^^ dds / cvs haben da eher probleme als cruiser / bbs.

Die Argumentation find ich schwammig. Mein persönlicher ARP Bedarf ist schon seit der Kongo selbst gesättigt, es sind einfach nur reskins mit vlt jeweils 8 neuen voicelines, sowas ist für mich wesentlich mehr Zeitverschwendung. Mods wie die Teile zum 1. April und jetzt halloween bringen mal bisdl Abwechslung in den tristen Alltag. Nicht nur das, ich sehe sowas als Fundament für z.B. die Einführung von Coop Scenarios. Armored Warfare macht das z.b. Ganz hübsch, darf man finde ich gerne kopieren. Ich hätte auf z.B. Ne Konvoi mission oder, ka, eine wo man lauter Flieger abballern muss bevor se nen Airfield schrotten tierisch lust.

kann ich so bestätigen, ich hab die tage auf meiner ashigara erstmal ne Haruna unterschätzt / war überheblich ( zumindest war ich in meiner Rolle^^) und wurde schön mit 2 salven zerlegt. Im Nachgang gesehen dass der Spieler 62% winrate hat, sh*t happens.

Imho the T Virus on T8 + carriers was the smartest Change WG did to this Class so far (well, the other changes werent very thoughtful though~~). It made Striking obsolete which is a good thing, at leasr from my point of view. I would even push it on 7 and 6 cvs. But aside from that, and what i have seen quite often, there are still cvs that use ut too late / when they are allready on fire and activate it afterwards, happened yesterday with the enemy shokaku. I whish i could visit the game designers and give them some Ideas how to make the class fun again without pushing its capabilities to a pre 0.4.3 level.

Hier vorsichtshalber schonmal Schützenhilfe von mir

While i still think IJN is superior because of the Layouts i wouldn't say that US CVs are that much worse in General (except for t 9/10), in my Eyes they just require more Thinking. In Random Games there are so many Things to consider, like being "normal" or low Tier, the way your and the enemy fleet behaves (pushing / sticking together or spreading out), the Map itself (North for example is horrible to play with strike vs fighters while Shards feels kinda nice). The Way the game works right now i often can't see a Reason for Fighters anymore, Ships like a NC or Bismarck are overperforming when it comes to AA and can easily whipe whole stirkes when sticking with a cruiser or another BB.. So at this Point it depends on if you are capable of juking the enemy CV, for example by setting of a bait with a single bomber squadron and stirke on the other side when he's busy with his fighters, pretend or even fore Strafe Attacks from his SIde and always keeping an Eye out for your own AA Support. In general i would say that the Bigger the Map is the better. Personally, and this is a point that kinda makes me sad, there are nearly no good T8 CV Players anymore. Most of the Time im in vs Guys with <1000 WTR that make horrible Mistakes, like trying to strike 3 sticky BBs or hunting my planes while im flying over 2 of my own cruisers. I met a good one yesterday though and i had a real challenge since a long time, but these good player meetups are happening very rarely. i allready though of going T10 for maybe more challenging Games but right now it is out of Option for because of a)the f'd up economy and b)the horrible Queue Times (they where allready bad at the Start of the Year and seem to be getting worse), as well as c) <12vs12 player games..

I partly disagree, you can still do Dmg to good players, but ofc they use some basic Knowledge like Shift aim and turn in onto your Torp Bombers, but that doesn't mean you wont be able to hit them, if you know what you are doing, too, you would for Example still bring at least 50% of your Torps onto the target, manual DB hits left aside (cause they are much easier on BBs at least) .If you are low Tier, well, good Luck with that. Most of the Time i hardly achieve 70-80k Dmg on TX Matches with my Lex, there are just no Targets i could pick out without losing my Squads entirely. a well placed US cruiser would be enough to scare me away. And a Fletcher has beast AA + an AA CD, so i guess if you really lost 20 planes to it it was active These are kill values that even Iowas hardly achieve.

Vorhin als ich auf der Ashigara war hatte mich eigentlich ne Omaha gejagt (3gg1), ist dann um ne Insel rum und sieht dann unsere AFK Bayern. Natürlich ballert er auf die Bayern, schafft es die hälfte seiner Torps auf nen stehendes Ziel danebenzusetzen und fährt zu allem Überfluss noch in die secondary Range. Die Bayern hat der bestimmt noch 20-30% hp abgeogen, hat jedenfalls für nen 479er Endscore gereicht xD

Gerade gegen eine verdammt gute Shokaku gespielt, hatte seit längerer Zeit mal wieder richtig Spaß mit der Lady. Endlich mal wieder anstrengen.

That's one Point i still can't understand, why did WG change the 2/1/1 of the lady to a 1/1/1? It actually seemed competitive back in the days when i leveled the IJN line (10/2015 or so)
