Hey guys... Cool it off a little bit. I Can understand being angry and wanting different things from what we get, but still, it seems a little bit to personal, and I'm really not liking this witch hunt that is going on. I saw it in other game's communities happening far to often, and it doesn't bring to nothing than crap. For those that will reply 'but who's fault is it?' I can just say, being right doesn't mean you have the right to act wrong... Complaining is one thing, getting sour and cocky is another... Just my 2 cents

i found saturday morning to have a higher concentration of 'good teammates', like sunday morning... while in the middle of the week when i go back home from work (around 18) it's a terrible time! probably i had to adapt to that instead of insisting on playing as soon as i could =) gl for that mate
-
Just for the record, I had. 70% win rate at the beginning of season on 70 games, and reached 9 1/2... From there on, a few nice games, but lost and went back to 11 3/4. Stuck in ELO hell since. Top of the team 90% of the times, but went back to a 50sh win rate, and still falling back. It's crazy :-) It's all about having the luck to have a team with at least 3 teamplayers. You have no idea how many people that answer to the first question I do 'strats?' With: '[edited]off' or 'just play'.. It's frustrating! And if you read the posts before, I was one of those that advocated that the ranking was not bad. I'm still of that idea! But ELO hell is to big in this game. Probably there should be smaller groups of ranks playing together. Like a +1/-1 that grows to a +2/-2 every 2-3 minutes of waiting time...

It does change from 9... i just went back in elo hell (15-10) and cannot crawl out due to teams running instead of fighting or not understanding the roles. Like DD's capping the caps that the fleet could safely cap instead of spotting and getting in the heat, or carriers that will not spot because they are on a mission to destroy the enemy carrier, that just takes too mutch times at lev6/7 to do, and in the meantime, the team is whiped...

i did buy the iOS copy and subscribed 3 days ago. Still haven't got my code, even after writing the email to pcgamer.giftageddon... will wait a little more

GREEN: Strategy 6 - Ca-Gamble While this strat is similar to Strategy3, it is in my opinion worse than Stategy3, because the GREEN fleet looses the possibily to use the E5 entrance into B, remaining only in the midgame with the options to enter from F-G lines to B, or just ignore B at all, losing the Game. Strategy6 vs Strategy1- Ca-Gamble vs Cb Split Strategy6 vs Strategy2- Ca-Gamble vs C-All-In Strategy6 vs Strategy3- Ca-Gamble vs Ca-Gamble Strategy6 vs Strategy4- Ca-Gamble vs Ab Strategy6 vs Strategy5- Ca-Gamble vs A-All-In Strategy6 vs Strategy6- Ca-Gamble vs Ac-Gamble

GREEN: Strategy 5 - C-All-In in my opinion this is a terrible strategy, because you keep the disadvantages from the Strategy 4, but without the flexibility of the DD's mid-control. GREEN: Strategy 4 - Cb SafeStrat Main difference with the RED main fleet A pushes, is that while RED has the map morphology disadvantage by doing an A push in the first moments of the engagements, GREEN doing a fleet push in C has the morphology disadvantage once committed. Therefore it's a trap for those that just charge in even if they face majour resistence. GREEN Fleet can always gamble and give the CAP advantage to RED by sailing behind the islands (E9-F9 route) like often you can see in RANDOM battles. In that way, you take the safer route (compared to E8-F8) but still committing to a delayed C push. Advisable only if the fleet has the numbers advantage or have already dealt massive ammount of damages, because you will eventually cross the T of the RED fleet if GREEN continues to push. And while crossing the T is a good naval strategy, it's terrible in WOW's because it's more important to not show the broadside than to fire more guns due to a far higher hit rate than in real engagements. Strategy4 vs Strategy1 - Simmetrical Cb Split Strategy4 vs Strategy2 - Cb vs C-All-In Strategy4 vs Strategy3 - Cb vs Ca-Gamble Strategy4 vs Strategy4 - Cb vs Ab Strategy4 vs Strategy5 - Cb vs A-All-In Strategy4 vs Strategy6- Cb vs Ac-Gamble

GREEN: Strategy 3 - Ac-Gamble GREEN starts with a Gamble, giving the DD's a difficult position with a quasi impossibile reunion with the main Fleet to try to slow down the RED faction or gain a cap point for free without other risks. Strategy3 vs Strategy1 - Ac-Gamble vs Cb Strategy3 vs Strategy2 - Ac-Gamble vs C-All-In Strategy3 vs Strategy3 - Ac-Gamble vs Ca-Gamble Strategy3 vs Strategy4 - Ac-Gamble vs Ab Strategy3 vs Strategy5 - Ac-Gamble vs A-All-In Strategy3 vs Strategy6 - Ac-Gamble vs Ac-Gamble

GREEN: Strategy 2 - A-All-In I'd start with saying that in my opinion this is a bad strategy for GREEN, because the advantages of a second vector of attack is both in information and in alertness. Not having a second vector gives the opponents the momentum and the active role in the game. I played 3 games with you today. It's not 'an agenda' mate. You want the replays? So you can see for yourself?
-
Ranked mode is an experiment. Just read this season's name...
-
Difficult to outplay someone stays always behind the team and waiting for them to do the work... Because you don't play! You hide and fault the others
-
I'm using win7 and sometimes that happens too. I'm running low on all graphics and it started with the new patch yesterday. Strange part being, that 90% of the people in that battle have the Same problem at the same time. After they are dead, it is fixed. Server issue?
-
nailed it :-) As for u'r post kitten_killer, the points is that cruisers should not show the broadside to battleships. It's part of the skill needed to use them
-
Sure mate... as you say. ah, by the way... they all where showing the broadside to me too, but they knew the concept of 'Multiple Threats' and didn't chicken out... probably to difficult of a concept. Will sto arguing with you. At what times do you play ranked mate? so that i can skip those? who knows why, when u'r not in the team, we have a mutch highter win % ;-)
-
Same crap here.. The Fuso is still in port and i just love it!
-
that's why i wrote "someone could say"... it really depends on the situation. From the game we played together, you where trying to dictate the strat. The only thing that was pretty disappointing is that after that you wandered on your own and started at mid game to flame to the other guys that where destroyed by lucky/skillfull citadels done by enemy BB's. Therefore you where a little bit toxic ;-) Me and you where the only-ones left alive, you in the Cleveland, me in the Nagato vs 3 players, but they had 2BB's and 1 DD that took all the caps... And just played one now, was funny to see our 2 cruisers and 1 DD follow 1 enemy cruiser and abbandoning all our BB's to a 3v5. And yes, you where one of those cruisers ;-) GG WP that could be a perfect example of "how not to play Ranked!". We should start a video series on youtube, probly the best feedback ever ^^

hemm... Crac... Co-Op is All humans vs All bots with 100% balanced ships per team -.-v are we talking about the same game?
-
lol PhantomVyper... That was harsh ;) But still, i couldn't find a nice way to say that
-
I'm pretty sure i used that portrait for my characters in BG2... :-D maybe Alzheimer is paying me a visit? ^^
-
btw loving u'r BG2 avatar... Well, the MM tries to balance things out, but after a few minutes the MM will prefer to let you play the game even if it's not balanced instead of waiting forever... When you see in queue only BB's, how about you queue with a DD or a CV to gain ad edge in the next game? Just my 2 cents mate

Voice messages: Please include a check box to turn them off!

We would need not a way to turn them OFF, but a way to turn down the freaking volume on them. did someone find a way to do that? without completely removing them? they can be usefull when not spammed by kiddos -
Ergeo, you wrote the same conclusion in another post, i'll link my opinion on that topic on that post, find it here mixed with other ranking considerations (star systems and mass of players). Agree with Fobios for the most part, i did myself a post about the economy on the last page of the same topic... But i have a few comments. This is from your other Topic about ranked battle economics: I would suggest the opposite, cause if you wait too mutch, you will get into 'ELO Hell' in a team based game like thisone. Where you are maybe strong enought to reach rank 7-8, but you are stuck in matches where most of the people are trading 50/50, and you will just make a little differcence, unless you are a 'carry level' ('stellar') player... Therefore i would suggest to be in the front rows, plaing since the start and trying to remain 'above' the matematical average of the meta, to not get stuck... And that's exactly what i mean. Around Rank 15 (value 0,5 of the graph) is exactly where the average of the meta will locate itself automatically, and it's not important if the average is "good players" or "average players". The average of the meta will be full of 'average players' if all the players partecipate in ranked. Due to the liv6/7 limitation, most of the newcomers (ie: 'bad players') will be cut out, therefore the matematical average of the meta will be in between the 'average players' and the 'good players', leaving the top 10 ranks only for 'really-good' or top 5 ranks for the 'stellar' players. The sweetspot is to be on the righ side of the function from the start of the season, therefore playing since the beginning. If you don't, you will have to overcome the ELO hell (value 0,5) and play far more games than you should have. Surely, this if we take for granted that the player that is playing in ranked, is 'above the mathematical average' of the meta. Otherwise he will always remain in ELO Hell. An player 'within the mathematical average of the meta' (uninportant if he is a 'good player' or an 'average player') will be able to get above average rank only in a 'full team queue system', where all 7 players know each other and play well togheter. That's the difference between a team game and a 'solo queue' game... If you want, we can show similarities or differences with other ranking systems of team games (CS:GO?) or solo games (Heartstone?).
