And don't have any illusion: If you had not use any kind of mod - and won't use any in the future - and reinstall the whole game as they say you have a big chance you will be banned permanently, maybe only after half of a year. And you won't know the reason. It is up to you what will you do from now. Note: I was banned in january of 2019 and WG didn't give any exact answer for the reason - even for the European Customer Centre who I asked for help. If I had known after the week long ban - when I asked the reason without any usable answer which could have helped to solve the problem - and the total uninstall-reinstall process by their instructions that the permanent ban could come I wouldn't spend more money in the game. But I thought I am clean: I used the originally installed game and its patches only, nothing mod. They scan players PC for any program who give unfair advantage in the game, it's ok for me. But I think they have nothing to do with any other programs which don't involve into the gameplay: None of their business what kind of op. system, office program or any other program we use. After all I think the game is very good but behind it there are things WG should improve (for example correctness, respect for the players and self-criticism - not everyone is a cheater even if their not perfect searching bot says otherwise). A couple of years later, when my soul find a little peace (just a little, I never forget what they did to me), I went to play on console version because there they can't say that you cheat or use probihited mod(s) even if you don't do those at all and you haven't any advantage against other players - and without chat option other players can't traduce you just because thier sick personality. I hope you will think in it and make the right decision which is best for you.

Good question but while the gamers accept the EULA (they have to if they want to play) they have to allow that scan method. If you ask me I don't care if they scan computers but just if they concentrate on their game files only. And of course just for purpose that the players don't get any advantage againt others. This is the basic reason why they scan your PC. (If you ask me if WG bans somebody because for example a player's MS Office is a warez version that not fair at all. None of their business because that don't affect their game at all and this player won't get any advantage by that warez program in the game. Only theoretically: if they make a contract with fe. the Microsoft for that reason they search illegal MS product on every player's PC then they have to communicate it towards their players and if WG bans somebody because of it WG has to send the real reason in e-mail for that player and not talk about some kind of prohibited mod which is obviously not true in that case.)

Thank you! So WG realized that there are a lot of software (f.e. recorder programs, graphic card control programs) that is not probihited and not is a mod. In my interpretation WG finally modificate/improved its searching software to separate different softwares and it won't detect everything as a probihited mod. Great! I have left only one question: Will WG re-examine all their players' cases which ended with permanent ban because maybe a lot of people's ban was a mistake by the incorrect searching process? Note: If in 2020 a (f.e. recorder) program is not a probihited mod then it wasn't in 2019 as well. So there is a good chance that before this the anti cheat searching software detected a lot of programs as a cheat program that actually was wrong. After all the difference is just the improved ability of the WG's anti cheat searching software nothing more. After one and a half year I still don't know the real reason of my ban while I didn't use anything just the game itself in the state of a virgin...

Hi Doctorro, I sympathize with you because just like in your case I payed for services (around 3200 USD) that are stocked in my banned account (while I've never used not just mods but any other softwares for the game to cheating or improving that and the warnings allways talked about only probihited mods). So I don't know the real reason and I don't want to guess. Could be plenty of reason, maybe one of them is yours. But we should agree that if we have to guess about reasons then something is going wrong at WG. Peace, Bye

So WG cares about anything else not just cheatings in the game - even WG write about punishing unfair playing in every platform and rules and in fact it hasn't any business with other softwares. All right then why the warning message talk about probihited modification and not about its real problem and talks aside after questions? It is not a straight way at all and they call it misleading of custumers. How should a player knows what the real problem of WG? I always talked about this: to give an exact and precise information in the warnings. Note: I agree to be and to remain "human" hard enough but we should try it during our lifes. Maybe I came from Utopia who believe this. After more than a month I still don't know what was the reason of my ban. I'm just saying.

Dear Mr Conway, First: We talk about probihited game modifications and other cheating programs in the game not about any other softwares on computers. You could agree that is not WGs business what kind of programs are in a PC until those don't give any unfair advantages for a player in the game. Secondly about the exact method: We don't need any professional person to check our PCs personally but the warning message should be more exact and precise about the problem. In my case I got an e-mail that I used one or more probihited modification for the game while I didn't used any kind of mod at all. From this obvious for me that if WGs anti-cheat searching bot found something on my PC that is not a modification but I don't know what. I didn't used anything what could have given any advantage against other players and nothing graphical improvement as well so in that way I couldn't terminate the problem after the warning. This non-exact warning led to the permanent ban. Conclusion: After all I hadn't any advantage against other players, I used the game as it made (I liked it very much and I was satisfied with it), so I am innocent but banned player by a false reason (using a probihited mod wasn't true). Note: To reinstall the whole system is half a day at least for what? A false warning? It's nonsense. In my point of view WG made a mistake (or it stops something) and WG should do more effort to optimize its searching system to avoid this kind of cases. Yours faithfully, late Cpt_wheel

Maybe you misunderstand me: When somebody say something about an another person (accuses him) the accuser has to proove what he says or at least has to say exactly what is his problem with the other person. The "good guys" as innocent victims of the system can't do anything with the sablon warnings. You should know that reason is nonsense and unfair even if "bad guys" could find another solution to cheat in the future. Statement: The system has to be correct in any case or it is incorrect as well just like the cheaters. What can a player think about people behind the system who don't give any details about their act just take everything from him/her without explonation who didn't do anything wrong at all. Just think in it: You are a honest person. One day you go home from work but at your front door wait for you a message that your home is taken "just because" and you can go anywhere you want but that isn't your flat/house anymore. And you loose everything and when you want to desagree nobody wants to hear or understand you. How do you feel? Note: It's not an answerable question.

In my case I didn't remember the first warning and I didn't find e-mail for that but this isn't the biggest problem while you are banned for nothing - while the anti-cheater mechanism can kick out not just real cheaters but innocent players as well. And why couldn't be the warnings more specific and exact about the problem? And why think WG that their anti-cheat searching process is perfect and it can't do mistakes?

Dear Mr. Conway, Ok, WG don't want to give out the detection mechanism. But WG should give out the exact problem what its mechanism found. If your system send an email for the players about using of probihited modification(s) while there aren't any, the players can't to do anything with the problem - can't delete any mod if there isn't there. For example I never used any mod, video improving softwares, etc. and yet here I am as a permanently banned players who don't know what was the problem of WG's mechanism. So WG should be more precise in these cases and communicate the real problem what the mechanism found. Instead of it the players won't know while they are banned and feel unfair method against them. the banned Cpt_wheel who lost everything

I agree but you can earn 3 pieces of AA consumable (+ one with cosnumable v2 by 22.500 and + one with your captain skill (from line 3)). With 3 AA boost Yübari AA skill is good enough. I suggest use AA sginal flag as well. Good fight out there!

I haven't any clue. What is aim-bot, how it works and how can anybody buy that? It's incomprehensible.

Dear Mr. Conway, Could the NVIDIA GeForce Experience software making any changes in the script file or any file of the game? You know, when I go into the NG Experience and click to the WoWs game icon and optimize the game video options for optimal performance of the video card? When I start any game the Experience always running and offer in a window for a moment that with a button combination I can change the video options while the game is running. Like a layer of the Steam or Uplay. Sorry if it's a stupid question but I don't know what the script file is doing or what is that for and how the NG Experience is working. Thanks

I was just thinking while I upgraded my video driver via NVIDIA GeForce experience. This utility check all my installed game on my PC and I can setup the optimal graphic options for my video card with it. Inluding the World of Warships game as well. What if this utility was what the "specialist" at WG detected? If it happened actually I didn't get any advantage against other gamers in the game by it. So the the main goal to catch those players who want to get some unfair advantages in battles against others. But I am sure if some other program somehow influents the game but don't changes the gameplay itself (even graphical) and don't make any difference that wouldn't be a problem and reason to punish. So WG should refined the security searching process. Interesting Gaijin has never sent any warning even I started to play Warthunder earlier than WoWs.

Dear Poussecrotte, I think when wows.exe scan the whole PC system just looking for prohibited mods and other cheater programs. It could be a security bot itself and it is totally acceptable process if you ask me. Then could be a problem when this security process find something totally different and diagnose that as a mod or a cheater software, utility, anything. I'm afraid nobody will investigate it and the warning will born automatically. Good fight out there

Yeah, I can understand you. I played the game from the year of 2015. The first warning came from after 2,5 years playing (middle of last year). Around when I started to buy things in the game. I usually invest my money just for a longer period like years. If I would have known that I can't use premium ships longer than a couple of months I wouldn't have bought them. For examlpe I had 4 premium ships that their XP boost pack wasn't used completely. More than 150 premium membership days stocked in my client. It is a great number (5 months). More than 800 santa's camouflages, around 150 lurker paints, more than 300 brithish camouflages and a lot of other special paints. And a lot of signal flags especially the dragon, red dragon and their category mates but economy flages as well. I bought a lot of dubloons to convert free XP and I impoved by them a lot of destroyer captain's skill to reduce detectibility range from the 4th line of the skilltree. As a shipcollector I had all premium ships and more: 2 ships were twice because of the Lima versions Well, the Kamikaze R version missed from my collection. As I said I was thinking for a long timeperiod when I did these investments. And here I am I have nothing. And there is a good chance I won't get back anything even I would like to. The truth is I was satisfied with the game itself as it was created. I played with it every day. Just Imagine how many effort I spent in the game: my Königsberg's captain had 16 skillpoints without any investment, it collected from during almost 3 years playtime. Good fight out there

Dear Mr. Conway, Thanks for your effort with your pack of informations. My hope shined up for a bit but it felt into dark again by your edited text. I can understand you but on my PC are only the basic softwares what are connecting the hardwares like NVidia GeForce experience nothing more graphic programs. And I'm not a PC guru who knows what kind of softwares can affect the game. Note: There isn't any program what WG's information list contains. I don't know any kind of program on my PC that could affect my game client in any way. (I offered for the support team a full access to my computer to investigate the real problem. They didn't used that opportunity.) Anyway if the warnings would contain the exact specificities about the real problem and wouldn't talk about just a template text f.e. probihited mod - what is not actually true - the users could react and fix the problem on their PC. Without it a player, like me, will reach the permanent ban standig there blankly - and with a huge financial loss and disappointment. And in this way WG starts to loose their followers/players - like me. In short time it could be remunerative (just see how much money I paid for WG in a half year (more than 3100 USD or 2750 Euro)) but in a longer time period it could be a bad stategy and could lead the team into decay. I think in every area/field of the life the most important thing is the correct and exact communication. For example for me the most important in my communication that the recieving party get exactly those information what I would like to give to him/her. If WG send me a warning that I use a probihited mod and I know that I am not, I won't do any change on my PC and react for the warning. Why should I do that? I know that statement isn't true and there isn't any mod what I could delete. This missunderstanding and aside communication led me to my permanent ban. If you think in it, it wasn't my fault at all. Thanks! One more information: I have more than 150 games via Steam, more than 20 games via Uplay and around 5 pieces via Origin, furthermore I have Elite Dangerous and Warthunder. How should I know one of them don't conflict with the World of Warship gamefiles? For example the Gaijin's online game Warthunder.

Hi there, Actually it happened with me as well and more. I started the game in 2015 without any trouble. Last summer I got a 7 days ban because allegedly I used some kind of probihited mod while I didn't know about any kind of mod existence. When I asked to prove they statement I got the following answer: "I'm sorry to see, that you are so disappointed with our decision. Note that we cannot give you any information about our decisions." Somebody made a mistake and I'm sure I didn't installed or useed any kind of mod - I just could remember for that. After 7 days I uninstalled and reinstalled the game as they wrote in their banner e-mail. So in theory I had a clean client version of the game. Of course the official patches came down automaticly after that. I played the game calmly and during a half of the year and I bought this and that ( f.e.: Dasha Perova captains, ships, camoufalges, dubloons, premium membership, etc.). At the end I owned the whole premium ship armada(!) as a collector. I bought the lima versions as well. I played the game every day mostly in evenings. 2 days ago I couldn't step in the game. I checked my e-mail and I saw their e-mail I am banned permanently because of I used a probihited mod - again. Interesting because, like the last summer, I didn't use anything during the last half year so my game clien was that official patched version that I reinstalled in summer by their instructions. When I opened an appeal ticket on the support page and asked to give the name of that allegedly mod I got the same answer just like in summer: "I don't know which not allowed mod you have used, but our specialists have detected the presence of these files, and they have reported this fact in our database." I know: nothing. The fact is that I never used or installed any kind of mod for the game. Never ever. I enjoyed the game as it was created. How it possible they can see something what isn't there. Or why they don't give any details or try to find error in their security system if somebody say to them there isn't mod? For example if they would have given details in summer now my permanent ban wouldn't happen. I know I am innocent - I just could remember for that movement by me as I install a mod for the game into my PC and use that. But I can't do anything like that. In my opinion if somebody say something that won't become true untill he not give any proof about their statement. In this way they can anytime ban a player without any proved reason they just cite something from the rules and you are done. The players like me can loose everything especially that money what he invested into the game (in my case more than 3k USD). After a permanent ban a player can't enjoy that services and can't play with those premium ships, captains, etc. in this life what he paid for. If I would have known, when I wanted to buy a premium ship back in time, I could use that only for a couple of months I wouldn't have bought that. I thought I could play with them for years. And here I am helplessly as a victim of the WG's kibbler and I can't take place to the justice. Yeah, I almost forget to mention: after the useless and repeated answer they closed my ticket. No place for arguing or hear the protest of other party. When WG decided something they belive they can't made a mistake. In my case they made a moral and material damage. A huge one. But nobody and nothing is perfect in this world even the WG security system. So please learn something from my case and if you want to play the game do it without any payment, because you don't know when will you banned just because and loose everything. Hi there, Yeah I did that of course. They just copied and pasted the first e-mail where they wrote the ban and the uninstall-reinstall instructions - and closed the case. Then I opened a new one and continued that my problem not just the ban what based on a mistake but their wrong detecting about my client with a supposed mod. While I never used any mod - only I could know it nobody else - their just saying the same without documentation what I asked from them. They sent me the "uninstall-reinstall" text again (copy+paste 3th time). After that I asked them try to walking in my shoes (I got punishment while I didn't make anything with the game ) and start to thinking about the real problem already what they did: their detection about illegal mod was totally wrong. And the answer: "I'm sorry to see, that you are so disappointed with our decision." - I am disappointed but not because of the decision but the problemsolving method, taking care of the problems by players/customers (I paid a lot for using premium ships and doubloons), incomprehensible secrecy (they never told me what was the mod what they think I used), and the attitude of "just because". And the rest of the last message says anything by itself: "Note that we cannot give you any information about our decisions." Here is the just because. How convinience. "Note as well that there are no undeserved punishments and if you were banned for using illegal modifications, you definitely did use these Modifications." - I know it better then anyone else that I didn't use any mod - I don't know how could I use one. So in this way my punishment was certainly undeserved. And anyway, If I would have used some kind of illegal mod I wouldn't have written any message to them after the ban, obviously. "I'm sorry to disappoint you even more, but for us all our players are equal, and all have accepted the terms and conditions of service, at the beginning of their experience with our product." I accept the terms and conditions just like anyone else and didn't make any illegal mod, of course. "Therefore, after the case was explained once more, the ticket is now closed. Any further tickets regarding this matter will also be closed, as there is not much to be discussed about this case. I hope you've understood the situation." in translate: Dear customer, we explained this happened just because and shut your mouth. I don't know to accept they made a mistake is so painful for them? I don't need any compensation but a fair and honest attitude for the case and the willing to solve the real problem in objective way would have been good. So you can see the 7 days ban is the smallest problem here. Should I try to write to court of Cyprus? I jsut don't know I am hesitating on it. Thanks for your attention. Hi everyone, This is a fresh case: I played the game since 2015 and I've never used any mod at all. Today I got an e-mail that I am banned for a week because of prohibited mod. Let me make it clear: I never used anything for the game. I started to play on laptop then I bought my gamer PC in 2016 then installed the game at that time and the game continously is on it. I uninstalled the game from the laptop of course. Then I allowed to instal just the automatic patch only. In my point of view they just traduce me without reason. Or if their bot software recognised my client as a modded game then the searching software is working badly. Or if somebody could hack the game or somebody's client they should make it more safe. But to punish somebody who has a clear conscience and just want to play with their patched game is outrageous. And what happening after the 7 days banning time. I will banned again and again while I just install their game? I asked them in a support ticket to investigate the case because I am pretty sure they made a mistake. And after that I will consider twice to pay a cent for the company in whom I can't really trust anymore. There is an old phrase: You should make an order in your environment before you criticize an other one. They didn't make certain about their state just banned me when the e-mail was sent. Righteous court... Comment: They asked me in the e-mail to uninstall then reinstall the game. I did it even if it took from my time. That's it. Hi everyone, Yesterday I played with my Hood battleship. I was in the frontline in a hot situation and one of my very kind teammates made smoke around me with destroyer. I stood in the smoke and when I shooted to the 6-7 km far enemy the detecting icon (exclamation mark) pop up and I was seeing and shooting by enemy. When I stopped shooting the mark disappeared and they couldn't see me anymore. There wasn't radar or hydroacoustic icon. How could it happened? Have somebody ever experienced like this? Well, thanks for everyone for the reactions and answers. I found the datas. (Hood more than 14 km) I see the problem. So if you are in a smoke where the enemy cannot see into it but they have locator ears and if you make noise (fe.: cannon shot) they can recognise your exact position inside the smoke and start to see inside the smoke. Dear Developers, I am satisfied with the Yübari just like with the other pemium ships that I bought. But with the Yübari I have a little problem: She has a very narrow torpedo launching field (angle). If this ship came from the destroyer line she would has a wilder torpedo launch angle. And considering that she has a big and unarmoured broadside she can't use her topredos without getting some citadel hits. She could use torpedos for example between islands but not with that angle what she has momentarily. So could you please widen her torpedo launch angle? Thanks in advance! Regards, Cpt_wheel
