After some experimentation I found 2 ships perfect for me in these fights: Shimakaze, with 8km torps fitted - my pick for a personal experience. Stealthy and lethal. Max Immelmann, the german premium carrier variant of the Richthofen - the additional plane on the torpedo bomber attack flight as well as the skip bombers work nicely against those targets and the ship itself, specced towards secondaries, packs a punch as well if needed. Less hands-on, but more flexible on the battlefield and better suited to aid with recon.

Greetings. It seems that sometime recently a few sound bits went missing, at least on my (unmodded) client. Namely the "ship systems feedback" (e.g. "Engine Boost activated) meow sounds for Unsinkable Sam appear to have been replaced with standard american english lines which is a bit anticlimatic especially on the german version of this commander. More prominently I also noticed that the Transformers original score from the Generation 1 tv series that used to play when you used one of the Transformers commanders in battle is comepletely gone, replaced by the normal in-game music. Has anyone else noticed this? And is this intentional or indeed a bug?

So you´re complaining about a couple of planes that can only be launched every, what, 2 - 3 minutes? And while they are in the air the respective ship is half defenseless and can´t use its main guns? And learn how to do screenshots. edited

Buddy, you can be damn glad the secondaries are ai-controlled. Even with WoWs legendary rng a player tends to be more dangerous than your average bot ai in this game - meaning if the secondaries were fully player controlled it would be even more painful. Besides... what I´m also reading here is that you LOST a fight to an ai that "takes no skill" to use. What does that exactly say about YOUR "skill"? Still recommending those anger management classes, btw. And maybe a big chunk of cheese. Then again, what am I actually expecting here from a guy with a nickname as... shall we say, revealing and pointless... as yours.

Let me get this straight: basically you complain about running close enough into a Schroder to get smoked by one of its (if not the main) feature(s). You presented yourself as a close range target for a german secondary-based warship. Or in short, you failed in properly countering this vessel... and this is exactly how the fault of this ship? Besides, ColonelPete is right, this ship is hardly new to the game. L2P; and while you´re at it I also recommend anger management classes.

In between the plethora of rants and complaints I´d like to present a genuine and heart-felt Thank you to Wargaming for the various smiles that todays update brought me already. 1.) The Rio de Janeiro port looks wonderful! Theres so much going on, its festive, its playful, it has some nice nods to other media - its just nice to look at and enjoy and seek out the many, many little details. Very pleasant! 2.) The Hot Tub mode is also nicely designed, its entertaining and has a few refreshing features you don´t get in your everday "normal" battle. The duck voiceovers are quacky indeed and the music also is spot on for this. Nicely done! 3.) The new voice lines for Ashley Violet are also well done, I like the brazen attitude of that gal. 4.) Regarding sound again, thanks for bringing back all of Unsinkable Sams "lines" as well as restoring the Transformers original score to the Transformers commanders! I actually missed the alternative music when playing with Optimus Prime, Megatron and the others. I actually thought 12.2. might be a bit boring but I´m glad I was wrong here; for me at least this is a nice little variant to the usual. Again, thanks. Action Stations!

I have yet to see an entire posting from you that does NOT contain any form of overblown complaint. Besides, I clearly lined out what this topic is about, the nice things. Why would I want to adress the "elephant" when you and your peers practically spend all day every day doing that? Now tell me again about not being a miser.

Kannst ja mal schauen, was für Premiumschiffe du für 2500 Dublonen so kriegen kannst, du Schwätzer. Selbst wenn man den ganzen anderen Kram, den man im Premiumpass bekommt, mal ignoriert und selbst wenn man dann noch etwas Großzügigkeit mit hinein packt: rein rechnerisch wäre das Ende der Fahnenstange dann maximal bei ´nem T5 Schiff. Und ich kann mir schon sehr gut vorstellen wie das Gemaule dann sich schon wieder anhören würde: "Bäh, T5, wer braucht sowas?" - "Da waren ja die T8 Vorabzugangler noch besser!" (Ja, das würden einige sagen!) - "WG macht mal was anständiges!!!1!11" Und wenn du den Unterschied zwischen einem Premiumschiff und einem Spezialschiff nicht sehen kannst können wir dir hier auch nicht mehr helfen.

All I wanted to do was point out some nice things. Nothing more, nothing less. And here comes the complaint-brigade, always ready to tear down even the tiniest bit of positivity; always bringing up their endless crusade against the usual suspects, even if the topic has NOTHING to do with said suspects. Why do YOU, yes YOU guys have to ruin everything everywhere? Is this some odd reflex of yours now or are you so determined to "make things better" that you have to bring down everything and everyone on the way? And it´s always the same few people. Always the same few who think they speak for everyone. No, you don´t. And by now it´s more than well documented that you don´t. You´re just loud and obnoxious. If there is a damn shred of decency left in you how about you just leave this thread alone now? There are more than enough complaint threads around where you can do your usual spiel. Lastly, it´s a bit sad to see that apparently complaints get all the hush hush in attention but when one wants to give credit where credit is due there are barely any reactions... apart from some hijackers who see any topic as their personal flag post to raise their usual banners.

If a game angers you this much you should probably find a different game. It never stops to amaze me how people grip so tightly to an entertainment product even ithough it doesn´t entertain them anymore. Duck mode is fun. Its simple, its colorful, its quacky and bubbly. Bouncing off of other ducks and blow up toys is something different, the "voiceover" and music are hilarious. I´m not gonna spend the entire update playing this, but I sure will do a few dips into the pool in between my usual rounds. If some of you don´t like this limited time game mode, fine; don´t play it. Making grand statements like "This is not what I signed up for" is at best ridiculous - it´s not like the other game modes have vanished or that this is "yet another atrocity weegee forces upon us" (to mimic some of the overly serious wimps that pretty much whine endlessly about most of the game, yet either still play it almost daily or even if they don´t play anymore seemingly have no other worries in their live than roaming this forum to complain).

I always wonder about that myself. A more or less normal person who REALLY doesn´t care about something or someone simply ignores it or them; this can be hard in some cases - but I do believe ignoring a game is rather easy. But then again I guess some people apparently don´t have anything better to do than going to a forum about a game they so sincerely dislike that the totally and completely ignore it, just to ignore it more by posting in said forum and ranting and raving about the game. Some people seem to have no issues in their lives more pressing than World of Warships. I pity those people. For a short moment at least, before reminding myself that their presence is annoying at best and often only creates drama but doesn´t help one bit with anything.

Einmal mehr ein ordentlicher Deal für 2500 dubs. Der Kreuzer interessiert mich zwar auch nicht, gibt aber ein gutes Sprungbrett um die Linie zeitnah auf 10 zu bringen - und bedeutet extra Credits wenn ich den Hobel verkaufe. Plus ich spare mir den Grind durch die anderen Schiffe vorher bzw. wenn ich manche davon im Vorabzugang auch bekomme werden die auch verkauft sobald es geht, brauche sie ja dann nicht zwingend.

Not like they were originally introduced months ago and now are just "commonly" released. I would rather recommend I-56 for this. But then again I like that one more than most other subs.

I think this IS intentional. So far I´ve only ever known the Santa commanders muttering a few lines in their "native" language at the start of a battle - the rest of the fight is all normal voiceover by the default american english commander.

This sounds a bit like "People can do what they want as long as I approve it". Also, exaggeration and or spreading false info does not help your case. Never has, never will. I will not waste my time correcting you as you damn well know what´s what. "Heat seeking torps" P.S.: And you really wonder where the "dolt" came from? Oh boy.

Its also mainly them that keep everything else nice and shiny, you dolt. I highly doubt we´d have much of a game (read: if it would still be around at all) if everyone would go full free to play on this. Plus there are people who like subs and cvs and gimmicks. And judging by the average mix of ships in battle quite a few. So, yes, in all honesty: thanks to everyone who spends some money in this game.

Damn, I was slightly hoping that it´s just me. @Seraphice Could you please pass this information on to the bug guys? I know it´s only a minor thing, but still.

I came to the same conclusion. Its enough to cover everything up to and including the bonus package for Sturdy, but not the vessel itself. Then again, not too shabby if you ask me.

Probably not, but then again worst case scenario I just wouldn´t play WoWs that much (if at all) for the time being.

1.) You could have chosen other sources for an example. By using a vid from Flamu you already showed some of your true colours. And if trashing WG is really his "work" he´s just about the worst hypocrite that there can be. 2.) A bit slow, are we? By mentioning the limited timeframe I point out that it´s mostly not worth complaining about what is, as has been mentioned, a funny little alternative game mode available for a limited time. 3.) I do, what else do you think I´m doing here? You wanted opinions, you sure got mine, which is: making a ruckus about this is pointless and only goes to show that there are people around here who either have no funny bone at all or basically just want to complain, regardless if its worth the hassle or not. And just because you CAN make a thread about pretty much anything and or put your opinion on display this does not automaticallly validate the thread - or your opinion for that matter. Last but not least if you insist on still posting something be prepared to get opinions that you might not like. Like mine, which also is: if one doesn´t like something maybe just QUIETLY ignore it next time. It´s not like this will be the central and only game mode in the next update. And if you wanna make a show of your opinion anyway maybe next time don´t lead with the "opinion" of one of the biggest do*ch*ba*s this game has to offer.
