    I dunno really. We've had a lot of great contributors over the years and sadly many already turned their back on this game. I really would like to add @Saltface: one of the first to really ask for help and accept the criticism he got. He learned a lot from it and tried to give it back to the community. Plus he is always so calm and composed, getting under his skin is an artform in itself...

    Indeed. Lack of competition has almost given them a monopoly which allows them to get away with almost anything 

     

    No worries here, holiday is approaching so that means reading takes first place and afterwards I'll probably wait for Total War Pharaoh to arrive. No need to bother with this product for now as even the community managers have no regard for their customers.

    I see @Cammo1962 already opened up the new CV thread. So it would be nice to keep those general ones there (CV, Sub, Latest news...all those sticky ones we have here)

     

    Plus, can I access this from my browser? I only have discord on one device and I have no intention on adding the app on all devices I use.

     

    Plus, I really like the link to people's stats on these forums. Is that option available on Discord?

    @Excavatus thx for all the effort you put into this man. You did more than the entire WG staff combined lately, as they were already very picky in the posts they reacted to and you had to keep up with all our posts.

    I do hope you were informed earlier because for a company that pledged to be a better communicator, WG keeps failing at this... Over and over again.

     

    But have no fear @Seraphice @YabbaCoe soon this won't matter anymore cause those annoying and visible long lasting messages are gone forever. I guess that's one way of solving your failed communications: reduce the span of life.

     

    And yes, this one is on you guys: you are the main gateway between us and the team through these forums. As you are clearly defending this decision you agree with it and feel it doesn't hamper your job. At least now you cast off the veil that says "we care for your concerns and pass them along" and show us your true nature.

     

    I'd also have liked to thank you for all your contributions over the years but for reasons unknown to me this message got lost somewhere. But I guess you can understand how that could happen right?

     

    Maybe once your Discord is property organised this message could reappear, but as that is not planned I wouldn't keep your hopes up.

    If I wanted to do that I'd go to Flamu's discord. Even that one has more useful information that WG's official one plus he has cat ears.

    The fact that you don't know that just proves my point. CVs are too strong even for those less gifted players like yourself. They get nice results but fail to see how.

    That only sounds like " mimimi I don't want to admit that my favourite toy is too strong".

    I learned from a company I shall not name how to conduct polls. So let's give it a go: how do you feel about the way WG announced the forum closing down ( method, timing ) and their assistance in the migration to Discord?

    Well, that is my observation anyway.

    Which is just a small sample of the game's population. I for one don't know how representative the sample is as I lack the proper data. 

     

    I hope WG has this data but my fear is they don't. WG might have a lot of circumstantial data, but nothing more. That is the problem when the silent majority is deaf, dumb and mute.

     

    Given the other feedback on Reddit, streams and what not, I have a gut feeling about how representative this forum is, but nothing concrete.

     

    I'd challenge @Seraphice to write up a devblog or an article on the numbers WG has on players' feelings towards subs and CVs (and how they are being gathered) but he won't. Because he very well knows he doesn't have the proper data to back up his claim. The most he will do is say "we don't divulge this data" for some bull reason.
