They mean the same thing: that on average said ship deals 100k dmg in a game. There is no other meaning to that number.

Why do people keep using the word everyone. Because one single person disagreeing already shows that everyone is the wrong choice of words. So the mere fact that it's being used in a discussion with that one single person baffles me...

My guess is the revenue stream is very good. So WG is not the slow learner, the playerbase is.

As if getting higher up in ranked is a skill thing. It's not like you have people grinding like crazy and also getting there...

You make sure you get in close, hope your team doesn't abandon you and hope the enemy is too afraid to push into you. It works very well It's not as if everyone is now in brawling range though. Sometimes that extra range can work, and since Salem radar is far less usufull than DM, you can hang back a bit more imo. Nose in confrontations are to be avoided. An opponent who knows what he's doing will kill your turrrets quickly. They are pretty fragile.

In current meta it is the way to go. Then again, my DM is fitting with reload mod. So I can play both without switching mods. I fully agree with @GarrusBrutus captain build

WG numbers will show that CB are a great succes. What bear said, I stopped playing. CB sucked the fun factor out of the game for me.

So one can look at that 20k number with more information to put the number into perspective. Or one looks at it without any further questions asked. One is intelligent use of numbers and one is misuse of numbers. I'll let you figure out which one you used.

And how long were they hovering in your AA? That 20k shows nothing. A 50 dps AA boat will do 20k as well. Just need to sit in it's AA for an extended period of time. If you show total dmg + planes killed (useful plane kills) you show more info that your 20k. And for CVs you also need to add who was the red CV. Getting 20k against a potato or a super unicum shows a different thing. Edit: to clarify last statement. Potato attacks, he eats flak and then ignores you cause "Aa Is BrOkEn". Unicum attacks dodges flak and kills you in a few runs cause "AA is broken". On both occasions you did 20K dmg.
