Why would I even play this mode. If I give negative feedback WG ignores it anyway and I refuse to give fake positive feedback. So enlighten me @Seraphice what reasons are there for me to play this mode?

I don't like to comment based on one screenshot, but since you did the same and expected us to follow your train of thought: here's what I read from this ( could be right or wrong). To get into that position you: a) have to expose a metric ton of broadside or b) reverse in wasting a metric ton of time. All this for a position that blocks your main guns, torps and half of your secondaries. No crossfires created at all, by any of the BB and you are over 33% the culprit as a) you are in a not so good position and b) you are the fastest BB on the grid. So you should not be here. Remember: you can adapt your attitude during a game much easier that your teammates ' attitude. So learn from mistakes by looking at them rather than looking at your teammates' failures all the time

What ship are you in?

Do provide us the replay plz cause something about your timeline is off. I seriously doubt he was steaming towards you whilst being spotted for a grand total of 5 minutes.

And you complain about not winning a lot...

If you fire nothing but HE in BBs you deserve to lose. More so if it's primarily against BB. That means you are either shooting bow in BBs the entire game (poor target selection) or fail to change ammo type. All in all that's just horrendous gameplay.
