And if WG would have had a good track record of communication with its playerbase and actually discussing ( not posting a topic, replying the first hour and then nothing ) we wouldn't be bringing out our pitchforks every single time. I love the fact that they are trying ( trying being the keyword ) to improve, but they have a long way ahead of them. Especially WG EU. So I'm sorry, you may defend them, but for now I'll keep sharpening my pitchforks and preparing fires for my torches.
  3. @Armorin Less accurate BB is what we have today in German BB. What happens when they shoot you at max range? Their aim can be off by a mile and they'll still hit you with one stray shell. And even decreasing accuracy even further isn't going to get the camping BBs from the backline to the front. Some people just refuse to play ships to their respective strenghts ( and the main reason is people don't understand game mechanics: AKA WG ADD A DECENT SET OF TUTORIALS WILL YA???? )

    Quoting Yuro now are we But you're right, my last few games have been more consistent, and even with a speeflag you can do some spining at range while going 36 knots in all directions.

    TBH, I know how you feel. I struggle with Moskva as well. But the one thing that is a certain, is the amazing tank it has (as a CA) and the laser like guns. But the positioning in a battle is where I struggle. But I'll keep trying :)
  9. 1. The incentive is actively helping your team to win. If winning isn't enough of an incentive then I don't know what you're doing in this game. 2.Problem with a model without HP is that it's very difficult for a player to judge the fighting capacity of his ship. How much more incoming fire can I sustain? What is the current situation of my guns? I do like the idea of reducing citadel damage and adding extra downsides as you mentioned ). 3. Shooting over islands is mostly a cruiser feature. Take that away and they'll have a very hard time and will be a lot more passive ( take a look at a tier X game on Ocean and your cruiser behaviour, you'll notice how aggresive they are ... ) 4. Could be a nice addition, as they are trying to do with the 30vs30 mode in WOT? 5. Honestly, DD don't make this game passive, BB do. 6. If you have trouble using German secondaries every game you're doing it wrong honestly. We don't need more OP secondaries (setting more fires to a cruiser than said cruiser spamming the same BB with HE). Plus it's a no skill weapon, it's free auto damage. If you want them to do more damage than we'll need players to aim them themselves (which shouldn't be a problem on a BB with 30 sec between main volleys ). Also increasing BB damage on secondaries should automatically mean a decrease in main gun damage ( for game balance ) and that might ( I say might ) be an incentive to play more agressive. 7. A CV will hurt you a little if you know what you're doing, if they instantly ruin you're game you're doing it wrong. And you don't want more than one high tier CV in a game, getting high tier CVs more reliably would be nice but after two CV years WG still hasn't figured out how to. So wouldn't count on it.

  11. Don't play Belfast, so won't comment on that ship. As for Kutuzov, the OPness lies in a combination of things: a captain that knows what he's doing (I've seen way to many idiots sailing Kutuzovs and failing miserably), the great AA that makes you safe from any CV, the smoke that doesn't limit you to Island sniping but allows you to position almost everywhere on the map I don't consider IFHE in itself OP because before IFHE was introduced Kutuzovs dealt a lot of damage as well.

    TBH, I have bought Tirpitz (worst buy ever, I hate that ship), Kutuzov, Atago, Blysca about 20k doubloons and probably a years worth of premium time. How much money is that? No idea. Do I feel bad I spent that kind of money? No, the game has been fun and I didn't mind supporting the development of the game. But, the last 6 months I haven't spent a cent and I'm not going to spend any more untill I understand what WG is trying to achieve. They obviously want a meta switch, but I can't see what they are aiming for. Untill that time, I won't spend any money on this game. A shame really, cause I probably would have bought Enterprise and Kaga, but given the state of CV gameplay... Maybe time WG shows us where the game is heading?

    Question, why does Zao get better concealement rating in relation to smoke than Des Moines? I mean, look at the shell velocity and arc of both ships and explain me why?

    Well, looks like they only want to allow us to respec IFHE. In that case, free up Demo expert as well if someone has IFHE. Cause if I do plan to keep IFHE I sure as **** won't spec Demo expert anymore.

    Honestly, to early to tell atm wheter I like the mechanic or not. I need more data ( example you gave the value of 10.7 for Hindenburg I'm actually interested in the Des Moines range value and that of the conqueror ). Moreover 20 sec does seem like a long time, maybe reduce this to 15 ish for CA/CL and 10 for DDs? Still means they'll be spottable at longer ranges the entire time due to their faster ROF, but also helps them disengage faster than a BB in smoke.

    Make a decent set of tutorials please. It's way more important than adding new lines. The quality of players (and as a consequence games) is just dropping dramatically. Just because people don't know the basics (HE or AP choice, why would you cap, spotting mechanics .... ). Really it's just annoying and ruining games.
