BB Bias, TX Powercreep and RNG Rig are ruining the game
159Hunter replied to nerderklaus's topic in General Discussion
So, because of your very good and mature response to my post ( note the sarcasm ) I don't understand what it is you mean: Are you saying that hydro on KM BB is a good and balanced thing that should not be taken away? Are you saying that hydro on KM BB should be removed but compensation should be given in the form of extra torpedo bulge and extra turning ( and if so how much )? Are you saying that I'm not as good as a BB player and should just be quiet ( not denying your stats are better, but then I want to refer you to the super unicum forum so you can actually discuss things with your fellow super unicums and not with the regular folks who know nothing anyways )? -
Well, there is the fact that 75% of the playerbase seems to be incapable of basic English comprehension. I wish there was a way to change that, but yeah... So in a sense you're right, untill you play in division or have other capable players.

Sealclubbers hardly count as real players though. My apologies, but that one was too easy to forego. If you really really miss that map. Get a tier X CA and start playing it. Have had three DM in it over the last week.

BB Bias, TX Powercreep and RNG Rig are ruining the game

Not sure I agree with this statement. ( and no, I'm not a great BB player, I dislike this shoot once (and hope your aim was right) and wait half a minute playstyle :p ) KM BB with their hydro are pretty broken as well, just because this very much negates torpedo damage ( and yes, removing hydro should probably be paired with some extra torpedo protection to make up for it ). US high tier BB with their lowered citadel are broken as well. I honestly can't understand why this buff was needed. -
@Culiacan_Mexico@EdiJo@Nechrom Point being, that when a DD talks to his team ( being in division will make this soo much easier ) ( sidenote: same as a radar cruiser should do when going in for a spot ) he can have the team pre aim at the smoke. The moment the UK CL gets spotted the team opens up and kills him. He'll be spotted for 10 - 15 sec and die ( disclaimer: that is if your team actually knows how to read and act on it, if not well then you're mostly ******* anyways ). Sure, he'll also spot the enemy DD, but the DD can negate the damage by: a) angling in so the AP dmg is somewhat lessened, b) the CL needs to figure out to whomever is spotting him ( I do assume he has hydro up, so it's a guaranteed counterspot for say Minotaur ), lock that new target and start shooting. This is a reaction that will take time on his part aka less damage done to DD. So for good players: this attack would be easy to pull off even though there is some risk involved. But far less for the DD than the CL. For bad players / bad teams: well yeah....

@mtm78 auch, that last one was nasty

Ocean is *Edited if you have a bad team. If your team works like a team I feel close to indifferent. Probably most fun ship to play on this one is Khabarovsk, no islands you can run into whilst you're doing your dodging dance.

Someone should maybe tell him what credits are for.

At least he's paying for the game ( I guess ). Why anyone would do this, beats me, but hey. His money -

Guess you haven't been on the recieving end of the glorious RN BB HE? So fun when a Lion shells your CA from smoke and sets at least one fire with every volley. Or a MegaZaoTM that deals 14k HE dmg to your angled Des Moines when going into brawling range? Wouldn't call that attractive, refreshing gameplay.

Which ship line you'll never play/never grind/play only when you'll complete all the other lines?
159Hunter replied to Favuz's topic in General Discussion
UK and KM BB. Just hate those guns on KM BB with shells flying all over the place, and well the UK BB. They are a bit silly, I'll get my real HE spamming cruisers to tier X before grinding out the MegaZao TM. -
It is true, tier VI can always strafe. Even when fighting a lower tier CV. You can thank WG for this. @Kandly, @Sub_Octavian @Tuccy you guys planning to do something about this? Or is there no problem cause it is a rare event?

The USS Atlanta needs a rework + stats comparison for all T7 cruisers
159Hunter replied to dayofmone's topic in General Discussion
If there's a tier VII premium cruiser that needs a buff it's the Indianapolis. But that's really if we decide to buff one. We could always leave them the way they are -
Depends on how the DD plays, if he's dumb sure you don't need that time. If he knows what he's doing, he'll kite away and survive, sure he'll lose health, but hey, that's the game. So yes, you need to play smart :) And the bigger is true, with exception of minotaur, make a smoke mistake in that one and you're as vulnerable as a DD
-
Any ship that gets caught by DM radar and sits the full duration of the radar within this bubble deserves to die. All you need to do is move away from him. Keep sitting in smoke and you die, but that's terrible play.
-
Maybe that has more to do with the fact that both those ships are OP as **** and less with radar?
-
Exactly, and that's why BBs should lose some of their gimmicks that (almost) makes them jack of all trades. No need to buff cruisers if that's your main concern
-
You funny guy, you believe everything WG posts?
-
Please do tell us we should balance ships on the stats of unicums ( as that's what you're implying here ). That would make for an amazing game.
-
Did I say WG can't balance CVs? No I didn't, the only one saying that is you, because you start from the premise that they are OP and unbalanced because ( and like you I am to lazy to look for quotes, but they came from your keyboard ) they deal too much damage, have a survivability rate that is too high and therefore they are OP. You want those values in line with other classes. What you FAIL to see is that we are talking about DIFFERENT classes so the averages will be DIFFERENT as they have a DIFFERENT playstyle and purpose ( or do you want to claim damage and surv values should be equal for DD, CA and BB ? ). I also explained the carrying part, which you are kind enough to ignore. You also fail to respond at my last two questions, so I'll be kind enough to repeat them: And now, quote me on where I said that CVs and CVs alone are allowed to decide a match. I dare you. ( Hint: you won't find it cause that's your own misguided idea about CV players ). One more question: would you value my opinion on Khabarovsk as well as your opinion?
-
See you that claim to know everything about statistics. And yes, there is the pure part of numbers. However there is also the underlying factor of what WG intends for each class of ships. I know it is very difficult for you to understand that WG actually wants them to do a lot of damage and have a high survivability rate ( still clueless as to why you are so angry about this one ? ). And what's even worse for your CV comparisation with BBs: WG doesn't want all classes to have the same tasks and potential, if that were the case you could happily compare average numbers and they should be more or less equal. But because they are DIFFERENT classes with DIFFERENT purposes they will (and should) have DIFFERENT average values in the statistics. As for the chance to win: there is always mirror matchmaking for CV, the ONLY class that has this. So whenever one/two CV(s) win there are also always one/two that lose. As for the chance to carry: a bad player hasn't got the potential to carry, in no matter what ship. A unicum player has the potential to carry in every ship. So those two outliers are useless. As for the average player: he can carry if the enemy ( and friendly ) teams allow him: the enemy by playing like a bunch of solo players / bad players / afk. The friendly team by supporting, working together and talking. In such an occasion he also can carry in each class. And now, quote me on where I said that CVs and CVs alone are allowed to decide a match. I dare you. ( Hint: you won't find it cause that's your own misguided idea about CV players ). One more question: would you value my opinion on Khabarovsk as well as your opinion?
-
And for every one of those so called unicums there's an equally bad player to balance it out. And for them CV are weak and unplayable. You keep comparing classes as if they all should have the same values?
-
-
@G3Virus How would you propose to rebalance the remaining three classes if CVs are removed ( and how should WG compensate players that invested time and money in CVs ). This is an honest question, as it seem you have a clear idea, can you share your vision for a post CV era? ( as I've asked others as well, but they never get beyond the stage of hurr hurr CV bad, CV must go ).
-
Yes, go cry in a corner and ignore the most important thing I said: Did I say the entire game? No, only when a strike is incoming do you need to hug one another. Otherwise you can sail around in a lose formation ( which most people do anyways ). But you seem so adiment to demonize CVs as the evil of all games that forces your entire team to blob up the entire time. And unfortunatly, no matter how hard you cry. This is just false. But at least we agree on one thing, it's useless to discuss with one another. Come back when you've reached a high tier CV and we'll talk again on how easy the game is as a CV and how the enemy has to blob up the entire time.
