That's the easy way out. fyi, I have read the entire topic. But hey, your call. Okay, so avenger says they have ludicrously HIGH WR, you say they have LOWER WR. Which one is it? I agree on the Italic part. Ofc Saipan is OPn Kaga prolly as well. But only when played by a player that knows what he's doing in a CV. Same as any other ship. Put a potato in one and he'll fail. a) So a unicum CV player will have higher WR, okay. But now, is that only becaus he knows how to play well? Or is that also because the general server population seems to be dumbing down, not knowing how to react to a CV? b) And again, having a potato CV doesn't mean an auto loss, same as having a unicum CV doesn't mean auto win. How else would I be able to win in my CV when playing against Reyte? It's because as soon as the game started I gave my team a headsup and they acted accordingly, whilst Reytes team messed up by solo yoloing and what not. So yes, unicum players tend to do great i CVs, but only if the enemy team allows him and if his own team keeps him in the game. I actually agree with WG removing strafing and manual drops from lowtier CVs. Way too much easy sealclubbing with 19p captains was happening on tier IV and V, which was ruining the game for new CVs and other low tier ships with no AA. Sure, now they need to learn it at a later stage, and there WG should step in and create a mandatory tutorial for any player that unlocks/buys a +V CV. Just show him how much more valuable strafing and manual dropping is and they "might" see the light.

You said it was impossible, I gave you an example that it was possible. Nothing more, norhing less. If you want to make generic statements, expect these responses. Same as people calling all CVs OP, a generic comment which is wrong. Some are OP ( I won't deny that, as some other ships are OP ), but others aren't. And what's even worse is that most of the players claiming they are OP have never even touched a high tier CV...

And that answer can only be 50% in a perfect world because there are ( for Langley ) TWO different CVs in play. I'll give a hypothetical example to demonstrate: CV A and CV B, total amount of games 500. 20 A - A ( so 20 wins A out of 40 games in A) 180 A - B ( and cause of great balance by game: A wins 100 games. Thus 100 wins for A out of 180 games in A, and 80 wins for B out of 180 games in B ). 300 B - B ( so 300 wins for B out of 600 games in B ) A won: 120 / 220 = 54,5% B won : 380 / 780 = 48,7 % So what do we learn from this: not only do you look at the winrate, this is inherently linked with the percentage of games played between the classes. Your basic maths class only covers a very small part of the actual WR debate and is thus useless. ( as you can see in a lot of previous discussions I had with mr Avenger where it was stated that one number alone means nothing ). That is btw not what Avenger is saying, he is saying: they are OP. Look at their ludicrous WR. That's what he said. As for .... CERTAIN .... CERTAIN... . Are you telling me now that a Flint is less OP than a Saipan? As for your little lesson in maths: mirror MM will show you which line of CVs is stronger, as quoted below and on that I actually agree with avenger. Your "maths lesson" has nothing to do with the numbers I gave. So in other words, you make a bold claim and can't explain it when called. That's called a bad bluff. As for your question: Langley numbers used via this maplesyrup is 48,87% ( as did all other numbers I quoted ) You are right, I misread the my friend thing. My apologies. Well, if it was to underline their 'disgusting strength' in all fields, why only talk about WR? Also, you said in your last paragraph here: their WR cannot be compared to other ships WR, so why on earth do you complain about their WR ( CVs are in line, that is why highest solo WR is completly dominated by them, lmao. )? I call that a contradiction. On the Midway: - less suited for random matches, so where are they suited? - what number would you use to call them strong?

Please enlighten me on where my math was wrong. First of all, you are not my friend. *Edited Thirdly: all I did was quote a post you made about solo WR based upon a maplesyrup link. Now you're saying that those WR are not solo WR. So than, that begs the question as to why you made the post I quoted in the first place? Last point: if mirror MM explains everything, then why are US CV's number so much lower than IJN CVs?

That's not what your link shows: Kaga 58,34%, all other IJN CV range from 48,03 to 53,08%. Saipan 59,42%, Enterprise 55,05% all other US CV range from 41,66% to 48,87%. Other OP ships: Arkansas Beta: 56% Fujin: 56,29% Perth: 56,65% Kamikaze R: 56,74% Kamikaze: 60,11% Imperator: 61,72% Iwaki Alpha: 64,36% Flint: 70,80% So I guess there is a pattern here right? It's all premium ships topping the board. US silver CV are in line ( or even below ) other shipclasses. IJN CV might be a bit higher than other classes. As for "CVs dominating" this board? Let's see, I count 3 CV, 2 BB, 3 CL, 3DD. Looks well balance to me? As for positions: Saipan would be on the 5th spot, Kaga on the 6th spot and Enterprise on the 11th spot. Is that your definition of dominating the board?

Just bad luck. Sometimes you play weeks without a detonation and then, all of a sudden, you get detonated three times in a row in a Khaba. crap happens.

Untill someone then buys a premium, uses that one to generate free xp and what not and rushes a line of ships and in less than 80 games he or she reaches a tier X ship. Also, playing a tier V ship is by no means representative for knowing how to play a tier VIII ship ( looks at myself, I was a huge potato when I reached my Omaha, and that by no means would be representative for Atago or Kutuzov games ). And WG is a business, implementing this will hamper their business model.

So OP, you wouldn't by any chance play a lot of tier VIII premium ships would you ( you know, since you're asking for protected MM on them... )? As for other ships, playing uptiered games gives you that extra bit of xp cause you're dealing damage to higher tier ships?

So what? The only reason we have english speaking forums is because US and UK people are to (fill out whatever you want here) to learn other languages. At least this guy/girl, and many others with him/her, are trying to speak a language that isn't his/hers. The message was clear to me and many others, if you didn't get it, it's only a testimony to your skill in English...

You ought to take some english classes, the purpose of his post is pretty clear to me ( non native speaker ) To OP, no thanks. If you want to open your wallet, you can allready buy a 19p captain ( as explained above ). This is ineffective and that's the way it should be. Captains will "grow" as you progress through the lines. And this part is actually pretty balance imo. I never really felt I needed more captain points on any level when grinding a line. I

Send a report with replay to customer support. You'll get the answer that all ingame features are there to block said person, so be proactive and say that it doesn't work, that your game experience was terrible due to this person and that you'd like a fix. All we can do is keep bringing this to WGs attention in the hopes that one day they'll actually listen and fix this....
