Solo / Division stats? These impact your XP earnings as well. And as mentioned before, the XP earnings don't always represent how well you played. Honestly, it's called random mode for a reason. You play with unicums and potatoes. Yes, it can be frustrating but it's part of the game. As for waiting longer in queue: one of the reasons I like about this game is the absence of waiting time ( bar tier X CV ) in between games. For people who only have a limited amount of time waiting is not an option. So yes, I have a problem with adding a longer queue just so I can play with people of my skill level.- 78 replies

Farming freexp: Premium Ships only??
159Hunter replied to ___V_E_N_O_M___'s topic in General Discussion
Don't work like this. It's a waste of money. Just play the game with camo and flags if you must, that can net you nice amounts of free XP fer game. Converting elite XP to free XP really isn't worth it. This game is about moving up the tiers, and yes that takes time. Sure, WG provided you with a way around this, but it's: a) very expensive b) you'll learn less c) by learning less, you'll have less fun the higher up you get -
@HMS_Argosax add to this list: - choosing modules for ships, - damage saturation, - how to deal with airplanes, - consumables: priority for selection premium - non premium ones,

Farming freexp: Premium Ships only??
159Hunter replied to ___V_E_N_O_M___'s topic in General Discussion
Also, the elite XP you earn ( after fully researching the ship ) is not free xp. You'll need to convert this elite xp with doubloons to free XP. -
The problem is that, if you don't understand the game mechanics, you're not capable of assisting your teams mates at maximum capacity. Sure, you can help a little, but because you don't know a lot of things your: - situational awareness will be very low ( because you don't know the capabilities of your enemies + friends ) - because of this your positioning will be off a lot - so you will be incapable of getting the maximum out of your ship Best thing to learn: start from tier 1 and grind the US BB line to VIII. ( and while you're at it: do a CA and DD line as well, will teach you a lot on how to play them and more importantly: how to counterplay them )

ST Midway huge hangar capacity nerf criticised

Okay, bye

It's a skill, know how to use it and it'll greatly help your CV gameplay. LOL Yes, if you position and reaction are wrong, the good CV player will hurt you a lot. However, if you position correctly, and start moving in time ( AKA not when the torps hit the water ) then you can dodge as well. And no, you won't sink. Pro tip, play them as well and learn their weaknesses.
-
I'll bite: - why is it the worst tier X BB? - what would you like to change? Or: - which other BB at tier X are too powerfull and should be nerfed (why and how)?
-
Your situational awareness should be more than "X, Y and Z are spotted, so I know where they are". It should also be "A, B and C were spotted over there and now they could be over here or over there". Failing to do that will let you fall victim to a lot of ambushes. So because he rammed you he's a pleb? He was low HP and the only option for him to something meaningfull for his team was to ram a full HP BB to take him out of the game. Looks like a valid tactic to me. Has nothing to do with being a pleb. How do you avoid it: the famous "situational awareness" combined with the hax called "wasd"
-
If you really get caught off guard by an enemy BB and can't manoeuvre to avoid his ram then: - he outplayed you, - or your situational awareness let you down. Either way: a valid tactic, frustrating on the recieving end ( you died + you met better player/you messed up) but rewarding on the dealer's end. So no, I don't see why it should be removed.
-
Let me clarify what I meant: If a player consistenly gets radared in his smoke, then he has no clue how to use his smoke. As such, smoke is useless for him. And chaff might be.
-
Or you could just work on map awareness and adjust your gameplay accordingly. But if you insist, sure, put it in the smoke slot. You won't need smoke anyways if you consistently get radared in it.

Premium ships versus T10, which do you enjoy?
159Hunter replied to KarmaQU_EU's topic in General Discussion
I prefer my DM over any other cruiser. That's why I bought the premium camo for it. Sure, the credit earning potential is less than the MK or Atago, but who cares about that? It's sad that the notion of "clubbing at tier X" is a thing. All this proves is that people make it up to the high tiers ( by either potatoing their way up or by buying a tier VIII/IX premium ) without knowing how to play the game. Do I feel sorry if I'm sealclubbing them? Nope. -
And yet, of those 11, 7 manage to score more XP. So not the elephant either.
-
Wrong. People have done this in the past: they asked for help with their gameplay. And they got it. However, if you start a topic like you did here people will make fun of you. Suggestion: ask mods to close this topic, let it settle for a week (during this period you collect replays) and then open a new one where you ask for help. You'll be surprised how good this community can be if you ask for it's assistance.
-
No. What I am saying is that there is one and the same useless guy in all these battles: you. You have no clue how to play and no matter how hard you try, nobody will take your word for granted when you call others useless. People have offered to help, all you need to do is enable replays and ask for advice. But as long as you stick to the 'all others are garbage story' you're only denying the sad truth: you don't know how to play your ships.
-
Yes, that 7 loss streak was annoying. And ofcourse it's all the fault of your team. So in one game you killed two ships, and the other 6 (actually 7, but that wasn't part of the streak so okay) you only managed to score one more kill. Well done. Seriously: stop blaming your TEAM and start looking at your own gameplay. A tier X BB is supposed to be a cornerstone of a team. Sorry, but you aint.
