nono, you misunderstood. All DDs should get a 20km+ torp option

An EASY way to fix radar problems

Proof, or just a meaningless statement?
  3. Juanx, give OP a break will you. He asked a question that is not unreasonable nor gamebreaking. And yes, there are precedents with other campaigns. So it doesn't hurt to ask

And they got radar in the game to keep DDs in check. I could also say that the rpf skill is equally dumb. Or DefAA. But all were added for game balance.

And you are one of those people that think that, because you are on the internet, you can act like a little child. Well if you feel good doing that, by all means. Keep it up. And try not to respond to ant content I posted. It might be too hard for you to understand. OH and, now go look up grammatical 'stuff'. Then adjust your reply.

We should really start keeping count of how many people start a new topic about this when the old one is still active...

An EASY way to fix radar problems

@Ouzo11 Nice story, you have some important points being: "team with highest av iq" - "team mates better than average" so yeah. It's still a team game and if your team decides to play like a bunch of ****** you have a problem. But those points have nothing to do with radar alone. They are just making games hard. As for choosing trb over smoke: that's a choice you make (and a very fun one on Yugumo) so you know the consequences. @zappori Another very mature person, if you want to quote something then do it right. If you want to voice your opinion then don't put it in a quote bearing my name. At least I voiced my opinion in the post above the one you initially quoted, but that was too hard for you to read and comment on? Keep it and you will make a good forum troll one day.

I don't know if there are less BB. Most certainly there are more cruisers ( for obvious reasons: Halsey and US CL line )

Thank god your remark is constructive. I'd be ashamed to be the only one being constructive here.

An EASY way to fix radar problems

If you say to cruisers: git gud, then it most certainly applies to DDs as well. But yeah, some more git gud to BBs wouldn't be all that bad for the game.

An EASY way to fix radar problems

Where did I say that I consider myself a good player? As for radar, it has nothing yo do with being average. It's game mechanics, once you know them you can play around them. Do you play radar cruisers yourself? If not, then I can only strongly advice you to play them, it'll teach you a lot on how to counter them. Btw, balancing on average players is bad ( look at Belfast, everyone and their grandmother can do well in that ship, simply because it's not balanced for a unicum player but for an average player ). Don't think for a second that balancing for average players will make unicum players less OP, on the contrary, they'll be even more dominating. So yes, you do well in games where there are no radar. The moment radar gets added you fail to adapt your playstyle and get demolished by radar cruisers? Working as intended. It's not because you play a certain style that you shouldn't adapt to the changing mechanics ( another example being DefAA and strafing for CVs). So, because you spend money WG should listen to you? I spend money as well.... I was not the first to say get good - git gud. Implying that good players don't have a life is a ridiculous claim anyways. I'd wager that unicum players also have a life outside computer games. And they are also playing to have fun. So your point is... ? And they'll be a lot more entertaining (and far less frustrating) if you learn and understand the game mechanics. BTW, all game are meant to entertain. So you pushed in a BB and got spotted (this time radar, could also be a DD lurking around the cap, or a spotter plane … ). No news there, BBs get spotted when they push. And the enemy DD pushed, knowing that the radars where hiding there, and yet he still pushed and got radared. That's just bad play. If you know radars are there you do something else. Seriously, look at the map and make sure you have last known position of ships selected. Of course, if you keep insisting on going one route and not trying something else then yes, you'll remain static. Countering radar really isn't difficult, know the distances and know the obvious locations. Once you know that you can play around. If players refuse to learn and adapt their playstyle then I'm sorry, that's their problem. Somehow I don't find the DD gameplay boring nor frustrating. Sure, it's more challenging, but challenges make you better and getting the feeling your improving is very satisfying.

An EASY way to fix radar problems

It's not boring for CAs. Because a good CA will position himself in a spot where he is certain he can catch a DD AND where he can still be useful to the team on other points. So nope, not boring at all. Same can be said to DDs: git gud. I have absolutely no problem in my DDs playing against radar cruisers. Yes, radar might catch me but it doesn't kill me. Why? Playing radar CA myself I have a pretty good idea where they hide, so you can play around it. Plus, a lot of people playing them now (because Halsey campaign and because new CL must play) don't even know how to properly use radar. If you want frustrating gameplay: go play high tier CV. And because many people are saying it is fine and can work through islands WG shouldn't change it?

Halsey Campaign Mission 2 Task 8

Darn, well in that case Midway is easiest for the floodings and fire ( but not now with all those new US CL ) but for being top XP.... I'd say stick to Gearing and hope for dumb opponents?

Halsey Campaign Mission 2 Task 8

This probably. Have you tried Khaba though?
  18. You have to admire the effort put into this topic. Stating you do not want a gimicky hydro, and then asking for a gimicky anti-radar thing. Too much effort now that I think of it. Skybuck was never this self-aware during his trolling. Keep trying Boris, you'll get there one day.

    report reason

Don't forget playing Belfast in division, or player a tripple BB division at tier X or playing the true Monqueror ( hiding all the time spamming HE )…. I would like to know as well: who reported me and why. Cause sometimes you get reported for no reason?

    Stalingrad OP

LOL, the most ridiculous statement of the day. Nice trolling sir. It's not like the other rewards you get for CW aren't great. Moreover, the reason I like CW is that you can really play as a team. So no, the ship doesn't need to be OP to be worth playing CW. Plenty of other incentives and the Stalingrad is just a nice bonus. With the exception that in ranked it is a solo effort. In CW a team can drag a player to get it. So there is an important difference between CW and Ranked rewards. First of all, there is a difference between strong and OP. (But that can only be assessed once the final version is known). Secondly, we had clans long before CW and yet people still played in clans. Moreover, there are also plenty of clans who don't participate in CW or competitive. You know why? Because people just like to play with friends or fellow minded players. So nope, not handing out stronk stuff will not kill clans.

  22. I played CVs and stopped playing them untill they revamp them. Why? Cause of the high AA of all the ships they keep introducing. Has nothing to do with CV divisions. They never ruined the fun for me to begin with, you know why? Cause I just avoided their AA and voila, problem solved. If they ruin the game then I can only suggest you one thing: take a break, play something else and come back later.
  23. @wot_chikor, this divisioning is NOT an exploit. Really, it isn't. If it were WG would have banned it by now. So stop using that word as if said players were cheating. So some people get 85% WR, so what? Why all this WR obsession? I don't get your problem with people having a high WR. Those people that do are either sealclubbers or people playing divisions. They play with friends and coordinate their tactics. Ofcourse they'll have a better WR. I'll ask you again, so what if they have a better WR?

    The true power of divisions

@El2aZeR is OP, plz nerf. But yes divisions give you extra power, but they are not invincible (because no matter what you try, you cannot carry each and every team).
