Sorry @Andybeca, in this case the problem is not high tiers or radar. The problems are WG and you: - WG for allowing people with next to no experience to buying high tier premiums, - You for actually buying them. This leads to a situation where you don't know game mechanics and you don't know the strengths and weaknesses of the ships you sail and the ships you encounter. My advice to you: start at tier I and grind the US DD line till you reach and full research Benson, then try again with the Lo Yang. As an FYI: Lo Yang's hydro is only beaten by the Z-52. So you can cap contest against the tier IX Z-46 and still out-hydro him.

Great news for all UK CL and those divisions that smoke up Woosters in Gearing smoke. Make them more powerful.

If you are looking at your stats to see if you'll continu playing tier X then you're doing it wrong. Real question is: do you like it or not? That's the only question you should ask. You have great stats anyways.

It has been explained multiple times how you can deal with radars in a game (and none of those were: camp in the back and be useless). But you just seem to say "the only way to deal with radar is to camp". Well, that's your loss and just show how much skill YOU are lacking. Keep believing that you require more skill for sealclubbing at tier II. So show me the global statistics about them AND the correlation to cheating (which you have still failed on both accounts, stating something =/= giving the statistics (pro tip: statistics involves numbers)). And why you casually sealclub at tier II?

Or just save your coal for any other ship they might add in the future. Don't think it's worth wasting coal on musashi or salem (especially musashi, cause that one is up for grabs with free xp as well ).

Cause cruisers can only spot a DD when he messes up. At higher tiers cruisers have a tool to spot DDs called radar. That means that DDs have their movement restricted (and this does not mean: stay out of radar range all the time and camp, though I guess in hindsight, in your mind it does). And that restriction makes it harder to play. Got it now? Still waiting on your cheater statistics. But because you seem to be ignoring this I'll safely assume you can't because they don't exist. Smart move, waving with fake data to prove something (wheres's The Donald when you need him to yell fake news).

And what exactly is "the endgame" in WoWs? Less cheaters: really, you're going to include them in a radar topic? As if to say, radar users are cheaters? ( BTW: show me a replay of a cheater you encountered ). (BTW (2): show me statistical evidence that shows there are less cheaters at low tiers. ) Less radar: true More skill: erm; no. You don't have to deal with radar anymore so you have a lot more freedom in your DD. So you actually need less skill. Plus there is the fact that you'll encounter players with a lot less games: less skill needed. And your CVs are far less powerful: less skill needed. So keep dreaming that you need less skill in your low tier DDs.

Oh no I didn't, his logic was: my poor DD get's radared. So plz give it invisi fire. Because my cruisers can also get radared, logic dictates I should also get invisi fire back. How has invisi fire related to radar? Of right, the bad DD players camp way back because there is radar in game. This is the playstyle needed for invisi fire as well, max range shooting. Got it. Radar OP? Play some radar ships and come tell me how OP it is I disagree with your notion of fair.

Honestly, if these are the only two options you see (borderhugging/camping OR yolorushing) then this game might not be for you.

You forgot your firing radar (drop in accuracy), the bridge (no more control over anything) the comms arrays (only ships you spot will be visible to you)… But no, let's stick to what we have no. No need for more frustrating sorta realism mechanics.

You don't understand, DDs are fine without radar. They won't be overpowered and won't kill cruiser game-play, they won't lead to more passive games for all classes but DD. That's our duck's statement. Tried arguing with him, but it's useless. He keeps claiming radar makes this game passive (the hard data supporting this claim are still not provided) and that cruisers will have no issues playing against DDs in a the current meta from which we substract radar.
