Not noticed much difference with the old lady herself, However recently I seem to be getting placed in a lot of battles with imbeciles, until a few weeks ago battles in her used to be fun, but recently I find I get 2 or 3 battles in a row where 2/3rds of the dimwits I am teamed with rush off and die in the first 5 mins of the battle without doing much damage to the enemy leading to a loss, followed by a battle where my own teams ca's and dd's are very good and the enemy is very bad resulting on a battle that's over before I get into it and an unsatisfying low points win for me. You may say try harder when the team is bad, but for example this morning I had a battle where I achieved, Kraken, Confederate, fireproof, dreadnought and dealing over 100k damage to the enemy, my team mostly got itself sunk in the early part and we barely won the battle sinking the last enemy CA just before they won on points from holding all 3 caps (fortunately we also had a couple of decent dd players), I can't carry a bad team like that every battle

The A hull with 13km guns is challenging to play at T6 (tho fortunately doesn't last long), after that she appears to be a bit of a beast, Won't be keeping her as I have a Warspite to fight at T6 but she looks like she's going to be fun to grind

Trying to rationalize: Played well but still lost 11 out of 13 games...

Sometimes no matter what you do you don't win (see below) and sometimes you have to endure an streak but then sometimes you get on a hot one and can't seem to loose Just look to do the best you can, and even in those battles where you make a mistake or are unlucky look to learn something, you will do ok and it will turn in the end -
If a freindly CA or a DD wants to overtake me into that line of fire, then that's his lookout

Yes have seen this with my Warspite when friendlies come between me and a close enemy, guess its more of an issue for ships with the longer range (7km+) secondary armament

HMS Mboto Gorge Surely -
Its astonishing the lack of interest I have in any of these ships

Have been detonated have detonated people, it happens get on with it If you are being detonated that often then you are doing something seriously wrong, sailing slow / stopped with your broadside exposed to the enemy ? are you sure you are being detonated every time and not simply devastating strike'd

Playing CA in ranked is horrible, as soon as you are sighted expect competent BB's to make you their primary target, dead within a few shots

I find jerking the aim point so all turrets have to adjust sometimes helps

Great one the other day, Sailing my Benson Jumped out from behind an island in an great ambush position for a new mex 6km directly in front trapped in a straight him bow onto me Cutting across his bows lining up a shot when a 'friendly' phoenix cuts across between me and him (me going west, him going east and the enemy bb still heading south) meaning I cant fire, I hang on until I have a clear shot and let rip with both salvos of torps in a tight grouping from about 4km, from the BB I then proceed up the west side of the mex, with the phonex going up the east about a bb length ahead bb doesn't turn so I score 2 or 3 hits on his bow (sinking him) with the rest of the torps heading up either side of the wrecked bb just starting to celebrate, when the phonex decides to turn across the BB's stearn leaving himself broadside to the remainder of my spread, eats 3 torps in his side and detonates no cure for blind and stupid I guess

The Trick with a warspite is to always plan ahead so that you make sure you engage the enemy at an angle suitable to where you are pre-aiming, Ie there are many maps and spawns where I start sailing at a diagonal pointing the guns in the opposite direction to the enemy team and away from the angle I intend to fight on, once the enemy is sighted I swing somewhere between 90 and 180 degrees to bring the guns to bear with the ship angled appropriately and begin fighting with the ship on an optimal course and angled appropriately to the biggest threat
-
Point the guns so they are all aiming at the same spot in the distance rather than at a specific target then turn the ship whilst keeping the guns focused on the same bearing relative to the ship eventually the target will come into view ie converge the guns, use the rudder to move the target into the reticle and only use the gun rotation for fine adjustment

Pretty much this, Winning is good but so long as I have a good battle I can live with loosing, had a great time in my Orleans last night where I had some good duels with enemy cruisers, got some decent team work going with a friendly nurenburg and scored a couple of kills, ended up last man alive, sitting on very little health in the enemy cap with no chance of winning as 4/5 of the surviving enemy team were sitting in mine and the last roaming enemy was too far away to get to me before either the cap or the timer ran out, was far more fun than an earlier battle in my warspite where the enemy team was blitzed by our DD's and was dead within 10 mins with me never having gotten closer than 12km to an enemy ship and only managed 8-10 long range hits with no damage to myself in return

Teamkillers - to team kill or not to kill?(or maybe go afk)

Indeed, ssomeone who trys to TK me is getting blatted But a pink player nearby is being watched carefully but I won't fire at him unless he shoots at me or another teammate -
Can we get a mosquito fighter bomber using highball at t9 or 10

Indeed And whilst I have seen some very good shots playing the game, I have never seen an individual I would accuse of using aim assist with any degree of certainty

It's not a bad ship, guns are a little light for my taste, feels like I'm throwing sewing needles at times, but it accurate at a huge for its tier range

Fully upgraded C Hull Colorado vs a Stock NC with an untrained captain, he will, especially the first time he comes up against a couple of squadrons of TB's or a battleship at his 90 -

As said, send the captain to the reserve before you do sell it, Loosing a highly skilled captain to an hasty mouse click is painful -
As a BB driver the thing that annoys me the most, is when engaged with a group of enemy from one direction I know there is a DD stalking me from an open flank in another as I'm constantly having to break off to dodge incoming torps, risking showing my own flank to the guys I am engaged with, and having cruisers hiding behind me and spamming long distance fire refusing to go over and chase the DD away
-
Hipper is fine, He's nice and maneuverable with accurate guns and face it any CA at that level is going to get shredded by a BB
-
He's charged much more than you receive, However to prevent players in a loosing battle exploiting a team kill compensation to avoid costs of the battle, WG scales things so that you only receive a % of the costs for the damage done Personally I'd like to see TK come with an even higher cost to the muppet doing the shooting, but don't think we'll see WG's stance on compensation received changing

I have a soft spot for Canopus, But think the Lord Nelson class would make a better t2 premium, being the last of the Pre-Dreadnoughts built for the RN
