Love these cv players who send one squadron at a time into the attack turn hard and let the aa chew them up its the guys who send multiple squadrons from different vectors in a simultaneous attack that are ruining the game for BB players

t8 Matches in the Warspite are where the challenge is at In a Brawl you can easily over-match a new mex or a Fuso go toe to toe with a Colorado or a Negato, But NC's or Terpiz you are over matched and need to depend upon skill to come out on top, those terpiz torpedo's are especially nasty when you get into knife fighting range, however sinking one of these T8 buggers after a skilful duel is far more satisfactory than battering some hapless lower tier BB

Warspites detection range of about 13km negates the Japanese range advantage in the early phase of a battle and the spotter plane can largely make up for the rest, Besides whilst the Fuso's guns are pretty good the Kongo often feels like its shooting sewing needles rather than shells, Get Warspite within 14km of either a Kongo or Fuso and if she's well handled she'll wreck them taking little damage herself

Yes She's better balanced than either and 1v1 I'd rather be in the old lady any day

Her repair party still does alot more than the party on other ships (guess jack tar just works harder than his foreign contemporaries) Never had an issue with her accuracy at sub 16km ranges and her rudder shift and long range secondaries mean you can go after DD's in her if you need to

Get the rudder shift mods and learn to turn the ship rather than the guns Warspites turret rotation should only be used for fine aiming adjustment

I find the Warspite the best of the T6 BB's She's tougher than the New Mex and her stealth negates the Fuso's range She's the only BB I'd take 1v2 against BB's of the same tier Also her turning circle and lr secondaries makes her the only BB I'll steer towards a known DD in order to hunt the stealthy little bugger down

Of course there's always the fun moment when the smoke expires and the DD that's been sitting still in it becomes visible without realising and thus becomes stationary target practice for any gun within range

Aren't the shells traveling faster than the speed of sound, you shouldn't be able to hear an incoming shell until it arrives

so plan ahead so you don't need to make a sharp turn, or shoot at something else

Warspite turns on a dime tho, so the turret speed doesn't matter, just turn the damn ship and only use the turret rotation for fine adjustments 1v1 she'll eat a new mexico or a fuso for breakfast and the secondaries make it a very bad day for anything that gets into knife fighting range

The longer a bad guy remains alive the more rounds he gets off, so the quicker a kill is made the less damage your side takes. Experience and credits are awarded for damage, not kills, ergo the guy on your side who finishes off the ship you have been pounding on is helping you and the rest of the team. The only time 'kill stealing' is bad is when the other player holds off from firing waiting until he can get the single salvo kill in order to bump his score in a kill event / challenge

No thanks, The Situational awareness is enough to warn there is a dd close and given when it gets very close the bb can single salvo the dd then the current balance is right At the moment a skilled dd player making use of smoke and a skilled bb player randomising direction of advance and speed is a fair contest, hydro would swing the advantage too much in favour of the bb
