High ship criterias (T6 or higher!) on missions!

Why set tier criteria at all? I know most folks like their high tiers, but some, like me, prefer the less stressful games at the lower tiers. Fewer egos to massage in T2 to T5. I find myself forced to play outside my comfort zone to fulfill the missions. Not the end of the world, admittedly, but I play to enjoy myself. -
This seems to me like a lot of unnecessary work. Win 10 works just fine for me with WoW without any tinkering at all. I get blistering fps and latency (due mostly to having a really good ISP and a pretty top of the line machine I suspect) Most those useless apps are disabled, which takes a little time to do, but is a once only operation. But I can appreciate the time and effort you put into your OP, and I am sure many will find it of use. You say Win 10 is the worst OS Microsoft have ever produced? Worse than XP and Win 8?

It is a bug, well known now. When I use smoke on my Brits I have now got into the habit of coming to a complete standstill before activating it. Try and use it whilst reducing speed and you will, as you have no doubt discovered, sail out the other side. Only rarely do you get that essential second 'puff' of smoke, in my experience. I would like to see them use the same system as that employed on Perth. -

Unfortunately . . . I do the same as you. For this reason I now limit myself to no more than 3 DD battles a day. In a cruiser I tend to live longer, and even survive to the end of the game on rare occasions.

The poll will be one of those 'Marmite' questions. That is a saying in the UK, because you either love Marmite, or you hate it. So the ones who enjoy Ranked and team will obviously vote for their preference, and those who don't . . . won't. There really is no question to be asked. Voted no, btw. daki asked why vote no. Well I have zero interest in my stats, my rank (were I to ever play it) and I don't have anyone I want to 'team up' with. Teams are too close to clans, for my liking, and clans just seem to bring out the worst in people. That is purely my own observation, btw.

I call these fellas 'Graveyard Admirals,' because despite not being able to keep their own ship above the waves they think they are eminently qualified to tell everyone else how to play. Also, I am sure you have all noticed, the team only become a 'bunch of morons' or 'noobs' after out hero is sitting with Davy Jones.

Do you like CV missions mixed in with missions for other classes?

Speaking as someone who never has, nor ever will, play a CV, I find I am ruled out of the mission at stage two. I am sure WG will provide something for me soon though. -
Regrettable as it is, I think TK is just something we have to learn to live with. Happily I rarely see it myself.

Are the Belfast and Scharnhorst worthwhile purchases

Belfast is worth the basic package, yes. But to be honest you would probably prefer the Perth. I find it a much better boat all around than Belfast. You cant train Brit captains of course. Can't comment on the Scharnhorst, not in my stable -

So you have four TK points. That would seem to suggest you were already pink. The minimum penalty, as far as I am aware, is five TK points. Looks like you had played at least one game with TK status.

Horses for courses, as they say. Most folk do really well with the Blys. Me? Forget it. We just were not meant to ever meet. We all have our bugbear ships I think.

This I think I had that book, just called 'Dreadnought' and packed with pics and plans of the boat. I was at the time building exact scale radio control boats and she was my most ambitious project measuring 5' 6". I got the builders plans from the Maritime Museum in Greenwich (which rushed me a cool £96 back in 1992) only to find they were next to useless. The plans I had were of her as she was conceived. Many changes were made to her during construction. The book was vital. I recomend any of the books in this series if folk are interested enough.

The player who ignores the 'detected by radar' icon that appears on screen, and does not move his boat pretty damn sharpish, deserves all he gets. And most do. Rarely do I activate my radar and observe the opponent sitting there thinking he is safe, usually there is a flurry of wake, and he is OUTTA there. On screen icons (or game aids if you prefer) are there for a reason

How often do you experience WoWs crashes and / or freeze-ups?

The game has crashed on me about half a dozen times since I started playing in early september, and with almost 3500 games played. It has never frozen. Having said that I do have a pretty uber set-up, and a very good connection to the interwebz. -
Somebody somewhere is fighting the urge to start a new thread called 'Win, win and again win'. Except those threads tend to never get started. Remember, for every team that suffers a loss, another team celebrates a victory. Its is all down to chance which of those teams you get placed into.
