I used to play a squad based shooter where the developer said the same thing: you can't see or do anything until server gives u permission for that. reality was that game had wallhacks, aimbots etc. So the game started to die and when it was announced that game ends and servers will be shut in 6 months, you started to see people massively instakill whole teams at start and flying around and other weird stuff at mass. Another shooter the dev admitted that they do "possibilty check" after the event. Like when u cheated the game accepted it, but you could get punished for it later( needs anticheat). So for a person like me who has no programming skill, there's no such thing as online game that can't be cheated in and if dev says it's all server side etc. i just yawn and hope i don't counter cheaters. Also downplaying the importance of aimassists in WOWs saying it can be mitigated with skill is BS. If 2 newbies meeet eachother in game and 1 uses it, its believeable that the 1 who doesn't will quit game and we lost a player.

Basically you are saying that cheating is impossible(said by WG somewhere), but WG has anticheat mechanics(i know WG said that)?

It has been always like that. They used to be just called noobs,but after brit BB everybody assumes that these players used AP before. -
No real problems until today. Fps drops from 144 to 60, but on screen it looks like having 10 most. So, where can i get a pitchfork?

Hydro stacks with Vigilance. Might be UI bug. -

Vigilance & TAM1 stack together. However, with Hydro active, only Vigilance adds to the range. TAM1 does not. -

This. It feels like you spot torps with Vigilance+Hydro before DD-s even think about torping you. -
Since you didn't answer the question, i guess you meant NO. So maybe you aren't a BB main anymore edit: or just realized there's much BB can do against DD.

OT: Since you have been at both end, are dd-s really overpowered and constantly spam BB-s with torps while spamming HE from smoke and there's nothing to counter them?

So in that situation your best decision was to stay still and wait him to reload torps? Don't know , but i'm sure they don't reload with 30 seconds.

I would say: kill enemy cruisers before you start chipping those bow on BB-s for 4k per salvo Ironically, this won't make it better for cruisers overall.

So, it got hard as i said. I guess it wasn't easy with Farragut neither without CE. But it's weird that you don't have 10 point captain when you reached Mahan. PS: my comment was more about complete BB power denial in your post you quoted from what i quoted you. And for that i don't have to liok your stats and not planning.

Sad, after playing dd-s and cruisers (stopped when u met 1st hard tier) you have turned into BBabyish when you probably struggle with BB now.
