The bb issue - what's your problem?

I would say there might be a consensus at 'lower' tiers BB are not unbalancing the game... well that is my belief looking at the numbers from maple syrup.

The bb issue - what's your problem?

Disagree, because prior evidence says otherwise. Two years ago BBs were not in the high 40%, what has changed?

Actually, I was quoting what he said. Whether I agree or disagree is completely unimportant... my opinion has no effect on game direct. His might. His view might give insight into what WG wants. PS. As I have said before, 5 BBs per game, 8 BBs per game 11 BBs per game are fine personally with my game play: more targets less counters.

S_O - BB live too long and there are too many of them. This isn't the group of ships to buff. Now thing can change, but.... Takeda92 Posted September 28, 2016 My name is Phil (Sub_Octavian in WoWs and other games), and I'm in World of Warships developement. Q...Any plans to reduce the amount of BBs in game and improve CA/CL to make them more desirable? A...In our concept of ideal class distribution, BBs should have 25-30% of popularity....

WG nerfed CV, DD, and CA/CL and the world didn't end.

The bb issue - what's your problem?

Unsure, as I have no idea what WG is trying to achieve. I would note that many consider game play to be to static with the current meta. How WG see it????

The bb issue - what's your problem?

Maybe, but I see no indication that WG thinks this way.
  8. Is it possible that the primary purpose of this suggest change is simply to nerf some of the BB CL that are over performing? Note: the Emerald gets hit... because it isn't painful enough. Ships on Russian server (ALL) Belfast 7 61.04% (Smoke) Fiji 7 56.26% (Smoke) Neptune 9 56.02% (Smoke) Minotaur 10 55.86% (Smoke) Edinburgh 8 54.61% (Smoke) Leander 6 53.35% (Smoke) Danae 51.06% (No Smoke) Weymouth 50.88% (No Smoke) Black Swan 50.73% (No Smoke) Caledon 50.57% (No Smoke) Emerald 5 48.74% (Smoke)
  9. I do. Stealth is at the heart of Japanese DDs.

    No disagreement there.

The bb issue - what's your problem?

As a primary DD players, the more targets (BBs) the better, plus they suppress CA/CLs. Win-win. What I have to ask myself, even though it is good for me personally, is good for the game long term.

The bb issue - what's your problem?

I don't believe it is just the amount of BBs, but also their balance. From the looks of it, Flamu is saying CA need to either be in smoke or hide behind island virtually the entire game if they want to excel in their ships. Is this static type of game play what WG wants?
  13. ...but did they give any long term thought to the issue they would raise with game balance or was it just do something? As I recall, perhaps incorrectly, British Cruisers were tied up in testing for some time... wasn't their actual going live date delayed? My opinion, smoke especially on anything that is not a DD, should have been a no go from the start.
  14. Isn't this how we ended up with British cruisers with smoke in the first place?
  15. I could be wrong, but it doesn't really seem to be that large of a nerf to DDs directly... firing from smoke. It seem to be more of a nerf to 'good' DD players who realize that using smoke to support their team can have a significant impact during the game.
  16. Agreed. My opinion mid tier DD player, this will be a minor direct nerf to US, German and Japanese DDs use of guns from smoke, but it will hit hard the ability of DDs to lay effective offensive or even defensive smoke for BBs. BBs that are usually near the front playing aggressively... not camping. British cruisers on the other hand seem to have been given a significant nerf.

    AP BOMBS overpowered(and cvs generally)

I am not sure that you are wrong.

    Summersale... "the grand finale"

WG EU seems to believe that if they make things difficult for their players base they are doing a good job: ARP Nachi, missions, no Christmas Convoy, etc. I wonder if they aren't just trolling their customers. This time however, the customers are discouraged from spending money. Are they now actively trolling WG?

    Damage farmers

    Too true.
  20. Culiacan_Mexico

    AP BOMBS overpowered(and cvs generally)

It really depends on what WG wants; and that probably revolves around money.
  21. Culiacan_Mexico

    Damage farmers

I think rank shows that for a DD, there are other factors than just damage that can influence win rate. So if you ignore everything else but farming damage...

I know why people [HATE] battleships

Interesting. I have no hate towards BBs, especially the opposing team BBs because they are just targets. My teams BBs sometimes leave me going...

    AP BOMBS overpowered(and cvs generally)

Thank you for your replay. I understand what you are saying. Since CVs are in the game, and not being removed, now would you improve their game play?
  24. Culiacan_Mexico

    AP BOMBS overpowered(and cvs generally)

The player base seems rather small to try a split.

    The Impending BBabypocalypse.

    Did I imply that?
