I believe the most important thing is to know your ships. To understand its abilities and its limitations, because if you know these, many tactical situations that would lead to losing your ships can be managed or avoid altogether.

What should be future steps of WG?

It just didn't include a big enough nerf to DDs... the next iteration will fix that. -
Random Games - Tried again after 3 months away but it still isn't "Fun" for me.

My opinion: go back to mid tier. There are many interesting ships there, plus the game play is different. -
Far trade!

BBs could decide the match (three BBs moving in aggressively in concert is a terrifyingly powerful force), fortunately most just snip. -

You are assuming that there is only one definition, while I would argue there are many. Some players pick the ships that will survive the longest; and this is how they gauge ships; and in comparison to other ships... it is OP. You definition of 'Deciding Factor' may not even be a thought in their decision. Others choose BBs because they are slow and tactical; and as one poster stated... mature people play BBs while young kids play DDs. Deciding factor is not part of their choice. CV. The click fest that is CVs (my opinion) turns me away from them. Even when they were OP (+20 months ago/opinion), I didn't play them because they did no offer what I wanted. I play DDs, because to me the quick choices/intense action is OP compared to other ships. -
For me mostly true, but it is nice to have a game in which you help your team mate: such as defensive smoke; and then see them increase your karma. It gives me hope that some understand the team play concept.

You have moved up too far in tiers without learning important skills; and this is the root of your troubles. -

Either BBs are now giving players more of what they want than other options: DD,CL,CA, and CVs or most of the player base has gone stupid. Which is more likely? Also, OP = deciding factor is your definition of Op... not mine. Way too hard to measure and not all players care about that. "I mostly play for fun and teamwork with good friends ... Yeah I could do better but stats are not my life, they dont matter as much as they did in my competitive days, still playing games at the age of 46 its more recreational than esport" Nothing wrong with this, but is deciding factor there number one concern? -

Why weren't they 18/24 months ago? The truth is... players will drift towards ships that fit their play style and reward them. BBs did not always do that at this level.... now they do. Players have drifted away from DDs and some cruisers do to game changes. -

If each side has 5 BBs... how do you define this? -

What is you definition of OP? Just FYI...BB have the most health, do the most damage, have the best defense, and live the longest. PS. That was not my reply but S_O response to BBs being at 34% of ships played... about a year ago. -

Dodging what. BB are OP. S_O - "The live too long and their are too many of them" As for can't nerf if not op... they seem to do it to DDs all the time. -

After the failed bow armor nerf, I don't believe they have made an attempt to lower BB population. It doesn't mean they won't. Takeda92 Posted September 28, 2016 ----------------------------------------- My name is Phil (Sub_Octavian in WoWs and other games), and I'm in World of Warships developement. ---Any plans to reduce the amount of BBs in game --- In our concept of ideal class distribution, BBs should have 25-30% of popularity. It works more or less, but on some realms/tiers they exceeded this limit. We don't want global nerfs and will try to avoid them at all costs - this is why we cancelled bow plating reduction. But some smaller, more precise actions will be taken. ---------------------------------------------- -

It depends on the definition of UP. Average survival rate... I believe at all tier DD are'UP' vs BBs. I think the same hold true with regards to damage done and planes destroyed. Does that make 'DDs' UP... I couldn't say. -
Why, they make it easier for me.

Fubuki got a moderate turret traverse increase! Fubuki is 25 out of 26 ships at tier 6. I am not sure if WG was trolling with this or they are just ignorant. --------------------------------------------------- Allied_Winter Posted March 3 The IJN DD rework is out for quite sometime, do you still think they are competitive? How’s the statistics doing? I might be wrong here but on the main line they aren’t doing great are they? Is it really players who have to adapt to a newer playstyle? Or is it that they are not equipped good enough to do the job? Sub_Octavian they are competitive, but, as I said many times, they have become more skill-dependent. Yes, many players adapted, and it's nice to see even well-performing Akatsukis in Ranked. However, large number of players seem to play in old style, lowering ships avg. stats. Ah, let me show you:) I downloaded their 0.6.1 stats of winrate and damage, compared them to other researchable DDs. Let's look at avg WR ranking: Minekaze 1/5 Mutsuki 3/5 Fubuki 5/5 Hatsuharu 2/5 Akatsuki 4/5 Shiratsuyu 1/5 Akizuki 1/5 Kagero 3/5 Yugumo 4/4 Shimakaze 4/4 --------------------------------------------- Both Shiratsuyu and Akizuki were later nerfed. -

I am usually playing DDs, so no time to look at stats in game. I care about my stats in individual ships, as it relates to... do I understand the ship and am improving my game play.
