Graf Zeppelin is an insult to paying customers

From my perspective, limited as it is, the real issue isn't that mistake happen... it is that the same mistake are happening over and over again. SirFoch WG: “We could have handed the situation a lot better. iChase WG: "..we should have just ... addressed the situation much, much better." WG: "...we had... miscommunication with German DD..." WG: "...we did not communicate the last changes properly" (GZ)

    run, forest, run

Interesting. I suffer very, very, infrequently errors with the game such as a lost of the user interface. Sometimes I have to exit the game, then restart, and while most of the time I get back in before the game is over.... It looks like I am penalized when I don't.

Detentions can do this. A long time ago I was playing Kongo, and the very start of the game I sent up my spotter plane, saw a New York, and took a speculative shot... detonation. He raged and I felt dirty.

    I did not know this.

My opinion. If you are a casual player wanting to shoot some ships, while not being destroyed rather quickly, nothing beats playing a BB shooting at range. If WG believes that BBs are being over played, I would like to see this group of players... 'adjusted'.

Nerf DDs, especially Japanese one. That will do it.
  7. Harekaza, Kiev, and few other higher tier Russian ships. Not many.

What´s the point of the Gearing...

I will not comment on the Gearing, but that win rate after that many battles is just a MM fluke... you hit an unlucky spot. A lot of bad teams.

The reason why BBs hug the map border

Interestingly, WG seems to want to make long range torpedoes more deadly to BBs. (Deep Water Torpedoes). I can't say whether this is a good idea.
  10. That needs to be done. Hoping.
  11. I disagree. If what you are saying is true, then over a large number of games I should average out MM putting me on the winning team vs the losing team. My win rate should be at or near 50% in my ships, but that is not the case. ---Edit--- Teir 6 Japanese DDs (Hatsuharu I played earlier this year the old Mutsuki was two years ago) Battles ▼ WR Dmg Sh☠ Hatsuharu 251 64.94% 46,542 1.2 Mutsuki 122 48.36% 26,861 0.7 In the last two years my ability to play Japanese DDs has improved, and that has allowed me to influence the outcome of many games. Note: I believe 251 game is the Hatsuharu is a good sample size.
  12. Not too long ago some were looking for away to block this camo.

In a German BB? I don't believe so, but camping is a good choice if you are not an average BB player.

    Agreed.
  15. I don't oppose your suggestion, but I am some what skeptical with regards to WG and CVs. Remember, 21016 is the year of the CV rework! Plus, considering the GZ issue, what are the odds they can figure out how to make another line of CVs to work? Note: I don't play CVs nor do I like them, however... CV players haven't got new line of ships... since I started playing 2 years ago. They are due.

The reason why BBs hug the map border

S_O present data that indicated DDs represent about 20% of ships played, which equates to about 2.5 DDs per side on average; and some of the DDs have fairly short torpedoes. There is a threat to BBs from DD torpedos, but is it the cause of BBs camping 20 Km behind the nearest Cap?

The reason why BBs hug the map border

You are welcome. For your argument to be valid, then BBs as a group should act differently based on the number of DDs on the opposing team and their composition. When does this happen? Torps, CVs, repair costs, etc are justification BB player put forth for lacking intestinal fortitude. Look at JH_87 mini map, if those 5 BBs are in fear of DD torpedos, then they are positioned poorly. What they are actually trying to do is avoid long range gun fire from the opposing team.
  18. Reduce BBs played... an interesting concept, but it doesn't seem to be one the WG is interested in. There is a chance British BBs might increase the overall number of BBs being played.
  19. 17) (22:37) New weapon type we tested were missiles. They were really really great, but not for this game. You'd have followed a single shot missile and steered it into the target. It was super fun, but it was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too strong. It's just not a feature that is suitable for this game. We also tried an unguided variant, but that was just boring, it was just like normal shooting but slower with more damage. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No Russan BBs until this is fixed.

The reason why BBs hug the map border

Are you complaining the players in tier 2 ships may not be very skilled in their ships? One of those players has only 80 games played in total.
  21. I have no doubt that British BBs will be very successful in reducing the number of German BBs played.
  22. Culiacan_Mexico

The reason why BBs hug the map border

    Torps are not the reason.

    Torpedo tactics

You are playing US DDs at mid to low tier, these aren't traditional torpedo boats. i would recommend you play tier 2-4 Japanese DD to get a handle on torpedoes.
