I would like to address this 'frustration'. I just played a game in which my team sunk 8 out of 12 opposing ships; of which I got 6 of them. My base experience was twice what anyone else on my team; and was more than anyone on the other team... even though they won. Do you know what frustrated me... I didn't play well enough to win. I failed. It is fresh in my mind; and I can see so many choices I made that could have been better... small mistakes here or there. I need to improve, that I can control... not how others play. Taking your frustration out on others is a choice, and a poor one. Lots. Just the other day I was frustrated with two BB players who were playing far too passive, based on my perception of the game situation, but I had to honest with myself... I had no ideas of what their plan was or their skill level. So I wrote in chat ( a rarity for me), "Kongo Bayren ????" I have written before, "BBs please stop hiding" or "CV wake up".

Currently (very small time frame) Asashio is doing ok, plus achieving extremely large amounts of damage for a tier 8 DD. I would suspect that damage to go down over time, but enough to warrant allowing those torpedoes to hit cruisers? Seems like they would need major nerfs at this point. I am all for it!!!!! Raw damage is the only thing the should count for experience or silver Tier VI Hatsuhara average server damage = 24 639 Tier VI Fuso average server damage = 45 037 Since raw damage is now all that would count, DDs will need about a 100% buff in damage output to maintain ship type balance.

It looks like WG came to the opposite conclusion. CVs/AA/RTS is the problem and is not fixable; and will be scraped... at least that seems to be the rumor, now whether that rumor is true... we will have to see. -
I don't understand. Are you saying that you want ships rewards to be based on raw damage?

When I first read the topic of this thread, I actually thought you were referring to the fact that a good premium ship in the hands of a skilled player can perhaps be unbalancing. An unskilled player can perform just as poorly in a premium ships as a silver one.

I actually had to look it up... "National Emblems", but I can see what you mean about them indicating someone has experience in Tier VIII-X games. My question is related to "place high hope". In what way do you treat your team mate or enemy if they do not have such an emblem? How does this effect your game play?

Confusion on my part, but when has the opposing teams camping BBs ever been an issue? Only players, with underdeveloped skills, suicide while contesting caps. -

I am not happy with the current smoke mechanics, especially as it relates to firing from smoke, but it seems unlike WG will make any significant changes in the near future.

Why do you want less DDs in a game? -
You sound frustrated, and probably with good cause, because you have played slightly more than a 1000 games and are already at tier IX. You are making learning this game exceptionally hard on yourself. I would recommend you drop down a few tiers and get more experience; and this should help with many of the problems you are facing.

I am not sure it is the worst Co-Op map, but it is probably close. -
It might just be me, but I see 'comments' from some players fairly early in games; often within the first five minutes of the game. During the game I rarely have time to check chat, but afterwards the battle is decided, I sometimes see these bizarre rants about things I don't understand. It sometimes surprises me to find someone is ranting about me in chat for reasons unknown... even more so they text me after the battle to cuss and scream. I have been told more than once "Learn to play DDs!". In most case, the ranters in chat would be better off using their energy to play their ships better.

I have include quotes from the time frame in which radar was introduced: Radar was introduced for many reasons, including to help counter Shima torpedo soup and to counter the number of DDs at higher tiers. The problem with Shima torpedoes was correct by... correcting Shima torpedoes. The problem with DD balance is being correct by adjusting DD balance. How should you correct an issue with smoke... correct smoke. WG seems to have a love of gimmicks, whether they work or not seems to be a secondary issue. Radar is as it is, because it was never well thought out or implemented. I see no likelihood that radar will be changed in the near term. ------------------------------------------------------- Sub_Octavain 2. There will soon be some changes that will fix the DD balance: Radar on high tier US and VMF ships 13. Did the radar help counter the torpedo soup (or walls, whatever you prefer)? A. Hard to say, since there aren't a lot of radar equipped ships at high tiers yet. However, radar wasn't meant to be the sole solution to the torpedo soup problem. We still need to solve it from a different standpoint, and that is exactly what we plan to do in the next update, by changing certain elements little by little. You will know next week what we concretely plan to do regarding this matter.

How do you balance radar? The implementation of radar was so poorly thought out that it seem unlikely that will be accomplish with the current system. Basically what some have asked for is for WG to balanced the MM based on a capability that has considerable different game play effects, Des Moines and Yueyang radar have different effects on game play. There is also the issue that this is a consumable, and trying to balance it would be similar to adjust MM based on ships capable of using torpedo reload boaster (ships that may or may not have that consumable chosen). How would you balance DDs based on smoke in the MM? Another issue is how does WG track the overall effect of radar on game play, how can they tell through stats what was a major factor in a win for each team? While damage, frags, caps, spotting can be quantified under the current system... can radar? I don't disagree with your belief that radar should be balanced.

I wonder what it is like in Russia and Asia? I would be shocked... shocked I say, to hear CVs are working in the EU, but not the other regions... and WG ignores the EU results! That is not their history!
