    Matchmaking is broken

    1. You claim DD are super OP, yet your DD averages are similar to Cruisers and Battleships. That seems odd. 2. Your next statement is that there are players better than you in DDs. True enough. More skilled players will usually have a higher win rate, regardless of ships type. 3. You show a player who has dramatic increase win rate when divisioned. Common knowledge, but that is not DD specific. 4. Where have I shown you disrespect? Back to your original claim, "...DDs are super OP atm...". You really haven't shown factual data to support this belief.

CV Rework is the killing blow

Any ship type can be played with low skill, as you know. Low skill players in CV have little impact on the game, which is actually part of the problem with CV balancing.

    Picking caps in Domination battles

It looks to me like the BBs have picked the most popular strategy.

Interaction of large-caliber AP shells with DDs

Your DD win rate is comparable to both cruisers and battleships, while in DDs you average the lowest kills and damage per game. If DDs are super OP, why does your stats not reflex that? Battles Win rate Avg Frags Avg Damage Cruiser 241 48.96% 0.63 27 303 Destroyer 91 49.45% 0.59 17 534 Battleship 477 49.06% 0.71 36 293

Should a cruiser wreak a BB if it gets close?

Interaction of large-caliber AP shells with DDs

What I have seen, or at least believe I have seen, is a WG trend to promote a certain type of game play through directly and indirectly nerfs in many patches. Certain types of DDs and specific game play was targeted. Note: just because I don't care for it doesn't mean it wasn't best for the game. Why?

Who would I listen to... I have no idea.

Interaction of large-caliber AP shells with DDs

I didn't mean to attribute that position to you, but was just more discussing one that was put forward in this thread.

Interaction of large-caliber AP shells with DDs

I am sure there are many players that don't care about learning, but is that any reason to leave a game mechanic, that is not working as intended, in the game? I personally feel that ammo choice should be important to any ship played, and players that learn this should be rewarded. I want to be surprised, but I am not.

Interaction of large-caliber AP shells with DDs

Some have put forward points that BB players will now fail to use AP at all... just basically stick to HE, which could be true... but only illustrates how poor those players are to start with. The average player, regardless of ship type played, has learned to switch between AP/HE based on the tactical situation, and changes in 'game mechanics' won't force them to unlearn that knowledge.

Interaction of large-caliber AP shells with DDs

BB AP vs DD Sub_Octavian - "This is definitely a...mechanics not working as intended." Once WG gets the mechanics 'straight' they can rebalances as need be. -------------------------------- Sub_Octavian acknowledged two problems: 1. Sometimes an AP shell does more than one shell worthy of DMG (e.g. one shell generates two (!) regular pens). That's a bug and about to be fixed 2. In general there's currently little need for BBs to switch from AP to HE while engaging a DD. Meaning that DDs take too much BB AP DMG according to the devs and this - too - will be adressed.

    Rate of Fire

We have the latter, we can only hope for the former.

5 DDs again, and again, and again...

Then they should be very easy to counter, so I am not sure what the problem is?

    Battleships

    I concur.

    CV Rework Discussion

I am not a multitasker myself, thus RTS was never something I enjoyed; excluding Total Wars series (which I could pause). As for the 'New CVs', I am unsure; while the general games play looks perhaps simplistic, the overall strategy might be a bit more nuanced. I couldn't say, as I never play WoT.

    CV Rework Discussion

I can't say what the average older player wants in his games, but as for myself.. I play DDs; and it is not for the calm and relaxing game play.

    OP Tier V Cruisers?

This rank should be tier V cruiser only.

Reworked Torpedo Warning: Once Again WG overshoots target

Torpedo Warning adds to much noise to the game... it should be completely removed.

Being shot by team for not 'obeying'

I don't believe I defended the player that shot him... how can you defend the undefendable? If we all shot players on our team that didn't perform to our standards... games would be a lot shorter.

Being shot by team for not 'obeying'

What can you see in a DD after only 20 seconds? I haven't looked at stats... does it matter?
  22. Culiacan_Mexico

Being shot by team for not 'obeying'

Then why did you say it depends on the game?
  23. Culiacan_Mexico

Being shot by team for not 'obeying'

Many of the cruisers and battleship players on your team (generally) prefer to have a DD out in front scouting and screening for them. You action/selection of what direction to move can have a significant influence on their choices, while conversely your lack of action can cause them to hesitate and become unsure. A cruiser might be very willing to move up to cap and support, but have no interest in moving to the cap solo; so in effect... they are waiting on you decide.
