I hope this is true. I would hate to think that the are actually trying to create balance... and screwing up this badly.

Haven't they repeatedly stated the fire mechanic is fine... no issues. Then they nerf it. -

German Destroyers Nerfed Before Launch

Sub_Octavian ...This miscommunication is our fault... ...this lack of information clearly harmed CCs hard work... ...You promote our game, you make dozens of fantastic videos and we appreciate that... --------------------------------------- Fair enough. -

Agreed. Changes have now been made... now how long do the testers have to test them? or Were these changes made weeks ago and fully tested, but they let the community contributor use the wrong version?

Battleship players: what is your problem? Why won't you tank?
Culiacan_Mexico replied to Ferry_25's topic in Archive
My point of reference is DDs... this is what I primarily play. When I am new to a ship or a map, I invariably follow whatever plan or advise is given. For good or ill. Once I have some experience, that all changes. I generally tell my team where I am going: "I am going to A" or "Scouting Northwest". They can decide what to do with that information. I am not qualified to tell tier 8 BB players what works best for them on any particular map. -

My issue is, I never know why they are proposing said tactic. Is it because they truly understand the map, the make-up of both fleets, and make an informed decision... or are they just running their mouths. BB players telling DDs where to go = stay in-front of me... protect me... so they can snipe. Is far too often the actual proposed tactic. -

Really? When did that happen? Over the last year they have added many features to reduce "aggressive... playstyles". Hydro, radar, British smoking CAs. Now they have added German BBs that reward aggression. So there is that. -

Cowardice? I played against a three man division of two Belfasts and an Indianapolis that crushed an entire flank of my team. It was tactical and effective. -

WG are you mad with that Detonations crap?
Culiacan_Mexico replied to _interceptor_80's topic in General Discussion
38. Mines may be possible in PvE but not PvP. Mines cause sudden deaths of enemies or suicide of allies, both of which are not popular. Detonations...fun and engaging. -

Are these the same people who have oversaw changes and adjustment to the game so that carriers are in their present state? -
I have 88 games in the new Hatsuharu. and while I am not great with it, it seems to do well for me. Also, over the last two weeks it has a plus 52% win rate across the EU server. Higher win and damage rate than any non-premium (DD tier 6).

4x CV's in one and the same battle? Is that becoming the new "normal"?

So what is Hatsuharu supposed to be ?
Culiacan_Mexico replied to AlwaysBadLuckWithTeams's topic in Destroyers
For me, it isn't so much "hard to play" as I am not sure I am playing her correctly or to her full potential. After 46 games I am doing ok, but I am just not comfortable in this ship. Yet. -

I am asking myself the same question. -
Yes. ;) Over a year ago I came to these forums looking for help to improve my horrible performance: 43% win rate, not dealing damage, etc. The advise was not given to me directly but to another poster. It was well thought out and given in a polite tone, but if I could boil it done to its essence it was "You suck". You spend too little time in each ship and never learn how to play them, then you fail up to the next tier. Ouch. I was left with a choice, so I decided to take that advise to heart. I started my DDs over with the Umikaze and the Wickes; and to play them until I felt I understood their capabilities. My goal was to stay in those ships until I could improve my win rate on those ships to above 60% while doing above server average in damage and kills. I mean no offense and I don't know if that advise applies to you.
