I think a large fog bank that moves slowly across the map would be a good feature. it randomly spawns at one side, East or West, and tracks across to a point on the opposing side. I'm thinking a 3sqx3sq or 4sqx4sq large fog bank and takes 10 minutes to traverse the map would make for some interesting tactical play.

What evidence are you basing your statement and conclusions upon? Please provide link to whatever database you are using.

It may well have had it's plane up in the air circling and as it did it came within your detectability range and spotted you before carrying on its circle. And if you say you saw no plane then it could have been in range just as it was returning to ship. On the other hand you could have been spotted by another DD with a smaller detectability range than you.

Agreed. I have been in so many tight games now where the match has been literally won in the last 10 seconds or less that it would be good to comment on that fact alone let alone how well someone did to pull it off. On the other hand some will take the opportunity to blame the poor schmuck who lost it for the team, but even so, that kind of chat can be posted just prior to the end of the match and shouldn't be a bar to having some 30 secs post-match chat/analysis.

As was said in an earlier thread about this. Just esc the update and retry. It usually works properly after 3-5 attempts.

I've noticed this too, but I became aware of it when a whole lot of other games that I had previously optimised no longer had the optimise button available. So I'm not sure what's going on. However, from this list http://www.geforce.co.uk/geforce-experience/supported-games WoWS is not yet officially supported.

Why do you think aim assist mod would not be working any more? Most of Aslain's modpack doesn't work, but they are cosmetic mods not yet updated by their authors.

This happened to me too yesterday. Again a Shokaku Press Acccount just sat afk for 5 minutes till the other CV did a torpedo run on him. It didn't start its engines and didn't launch any planes even after much pleading from the rest of us. What it did launch though after its inaction was a stream of toxic chat firstly directed at the press account and then more broadly from both sides at WG for allowing this to happen. We presumed it was an account set up at the Polish event and that somebody from WG should have at least been chaperoning whoever was playing and showing them what to do. As somebody has said, one game destroyed for 11 players and 20 minutes of life wasted and what did WG get out of it? 20 minutes of their player base slagging them off in public chat telling everybody what clueless idiots they were and how little they care about their players. WGEU Marketing is seriously going to overtake The Marketing Division of the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation and we all know what happened to them in the end.

I found that with the NO that I had better battles escorting BBs occasionally jumping forward to deal with DDs and CAs that were coming within range and then slipping back behind the BBs for repairs or just to get enemy fire off of me. As somebody said if you get caught in a situation where you're outnumbered then you're going to get screwed in a NO.

So I have a skill in each level up to level 4 and looking at tier 5 skills I don't see a skill I'd rather have over the tier 4 skill Last Stand or a few others at even lesser tiers. Am I right in thinking that tier 5 skills for cruisers are not that attractive?

At 5:10 UTC or 6:10 UK time XP bonus will be X2 for first battle. However, the clock has just ticked over for a new day here and the bonus is the usual 1.5XP. So my question is, should I wait till 6:10 to do my daily or do it now and get the 1.5XP bonus and a tasty X2 bonus later as well in the day or if I do it now will the X2 not be available later in the day? I'm not expecting an answer from a mod as they have all gone to a bar or bed for the night, but does anyone know the usual procedure for this kind of dilemma with WG? The Advanced Firing Training, which is the go to skill for cruisers as I saw it and as I've been advised. Demolition expert wasn't on my list as a second skill to take in tier 4 as most times in a cruiser I'm firing HE anyway.

I've noticed that every hit I get from over 14KM in my DD I develop a sudden paranoid feeling that somebody might not be playing by the rules or accepted conventions. P.S. No, I wasn't pleasure boating in straight line.

Thanks for the reply of your previous knowledge of these events. I maybe in a small crowd of late night players, but even so, losing an extra .5 XP multiplier because I may have stayed up to do dailies is just stupid. Why didn't they just implement it at the normal reset time instead of 5 hrs later? I love this game, but boy do I get annoyed how WGEU administrate things.

He doesn't play to high standard and not everyone is an idiot, but this makes it sound that you yourself feel that you fell short of "his standard"...? Well (I'm probably going to get neg rep or deleted for this) but it's the difference between your girlfriend touching it and sucking it. Both are desirable, but you know you got something special going on with one of the options.

If you read the load screen it says "Your Primary Mission Is To....(Insert goal which isn't killing all enemy)" However I tend to agree with you in a somewhat tangential way in that players should be able to filter the type of battles that they want to play (but not the map) and maybe have a "Last Man Standing" option.

Admittedly I don't like his style of presentation (those annoying chuckles to self every minute and the historical introduction to any ship he's sailing) but I have never questioned or found fault in his observations of the game or other games and I've always found him to be fair and independent in his reviews whether or not he has been given privileged access. However I don't understand why you post this to have go at him without giving a specific reason or example. I don't think he's a brilliant player. However, I do think he's somebody who has realised the basic strategies and tactics of a battle as well as the primary advantages of ships he has chosen to feature and has tried to exemplify those in his features/tutorials videos. So yeah, he may not be "uber" but he has understanding of the game and the ships, which he takes time to share with others in maybe not concise videos, but they are ultimately useful for newbies to the game and enticers for those who haven't tried and may encourage them into the playerbase. So I have to disagree with your assertions because I'm not sure what you are driving at. maybe you could give some examples so we could more directly reply to your feelings.

It seems every time they go somewhere and pitch up they give us bonus XP. So if each of us, each week, invites them around for lunch and a tour of our hometown we can keep these bonus XP weekends rolling forever.
