  1. I hope they don't disappear in the near future. I strongly regret I didn't get one for Nurnberg. ;)

Nürnberg sits too high in the water

@1st picture Just look where the ladder begins!
  3. Are those German premium camos still available? I know they were available for a moment, anybody knows whether the haven't disappeared from the offer?
  4. Yup I think that's the case. And it is really annoying.
  5. There was an update that completely screwed up the interface for manual drops, You cannot just alt + click to set your torps. If you do that in proximity to an existing drop nothing happens.Because if you mouseover the icon, you can't click, the icon blocks the clicking. You cannot adjust your drop, you have to click away and then click where you need it and that is annoying. Did WG want to nerf CV's by screwing up the interface?
  6. But it is really annoying. It is almost like you can't make any final adjustments to your drop effectively.
  7. It got worse like a month or two ago.
  8. Yes, that is what is happening. WG please fix it immediately, it's a joy killer. Nerf CV's in some other way if you need to, rather than making manual drops clumsy through bad interface.
  9. When you target plunging fire behind land obstacles and you put land into the crosshairs sometimes the cannons get elevated down and target the land obstacle in the crosshairs instead of the ship behind the land, even though the shells could easily lob above the land obstacle. This is annoying for ships with a high angle of fire. Weather somebody believes that firing behind islands is unrealistic or whatever, that is completely irrelevant, and something should be done about it. If you think so, you should ban plunging fire altogether, but then WoWs is not a realistic game even remotely, so I don't support that. I think that whenever you press Alt, the cannons should always fire at the nearest sea point you are targeting, and if you are targeting into a land object, you should be targeting that point in the sea which is behind that object. Land objects should obstruct your vision, but not affect targeting.

    Economy Mechanics FIX!

Game makes no sense, upper tier ships are pay-to-play. You are supposed to grind lower ships to play the upper ships, and you are supposed to play the upper ships in order to what? Even when you are an excellent player you most likely are capable of making maximum income on level 6 or 7 without premium. Even if you get ahead on tier 8 without premium, you will be BARELY making it ahead, with significantly less income than you could get on lower tiers. That is why the economy is broken and this is the thread number gazillion about it, and this is why I don't play this skinner box any more.
  11. Everybody has a right to be stupid. Nobody has the right to be in your face persistent with their stupidity and be immune from the appropriate backlash. And my question is as clear as it gets. If you think it can be made better, you are free to paraphrase it yourself. I don't really care about the answer that much, I quit playing the game for now, because it is too much of a pointless skinner box, and there is nothing to grind for once you get a decent mid level, since the upper tiers are nothing but a pointless pay-to-play. The player levels are declining, the customer relations sucks, they lie to you, that they read the forum, in reality they don't. You might be writing at the back of a used tissue just as well, everything you write in the forum will be ignored by the WG staff.
  12. Does clicking the ctrl focus on secondary guns (not AA) improve the effectiveness of fire? I am specifically asking for secondary guns, not AA guns. You can focus AA and you get a bonus. Does the same exist for focusing the secondary guns. Second question, does buying the 1 000 000 credit acceleration upgrade (Propulsion Modification 2) also upgrades the rate of deceleration after you hit full astern? Please do not give imperious answers unless you actually know the answer for certain.
  13. My attitude arose AFTER people showed themselves to be illiterate and arrogant assholes. And as stated above, NOBODY actually answered the question - only given BS remarks that they demand me to accept as an answer. People talk about irrelevant nonsense about the speed telegraph, I kindly remark that they are in the wrong, and I get called illiterate. And all that after I made a precautionary remark about not giving answers unless you know what you are talking about, which of course they shoved into their dark hole. So no, you get the attitude from me you deserve. I don't think stupid people should be scorned, it is not their fault, nature has not given them a fully developed brain, but the tolerance ends when they are arrogant and in your face with their intellectual incapability.
  14. What is your IQ? Can you read? I did not ask about that. I don't care whether the deceleration rate is different when you put full astern or less and the speed is more. Though your deceleration rate is affected by engine shutdown, you don't slow down as fast as when you have capable engines. I am asking whether the acceleration upgrade module affects only acceleration or also deceleration. And I am not interested in anybody's suppositions. And I am bored with the game because of the upper tier broken economy and general overreliance on Skinner mechanics. There is no point in playing those ships, they are pure pay to play ships, and thus there is no point of having them. So no, the fact that this forum is so low level, that nobody understands a simple technical question and nobody competent cares to answer only adds to the flavor.

We want lower repair costs too!

This is the STW2 in which arrows did fly the same range uphill and downhill. They have not removed it as far as I know. I don't think there ever was any popular demand for anime, they are simply selling out to use the game as an advertising place. Typical stupid bean counter behavior. They have absolutely no regard for customer relations in the long run and unless there is a massive boycott quit by players they won't get the message.

We want lower repair costs too!

It was a "popular demand" by a stupid bean counter, not by a genuine game dev. It reminds me of the "arrow range bug" in the Shogun Total War 2. People asked WTF arrows fly exactly the same range uphill and downhill, where this was the key feature of every previous installment that you had to put archers on higher ground in order to make them fire further. The Devs came up with an excuse "people are exploiting hills too much". Therefore they made arrows fly up just as far as when flying down. What a killjoy.

They don't care. The idea that lower tiers should support higher tiers is stupid. Why would you play higher tiers then at all? To get more XP for the captain faster? He maxes out at level 20 anyway. It is all pointless to have higher tiers as a pay to play ships. The entire incentive structure in the game has a giant LOOSE END. You are supposed to play mid tier to grind credits for the high tier, and you are supposed to play high tier to achieve exactly what? A little bit more XP for the captain? In example f high tiers would earn doubloons that would make some sense. Many games have the ability of grinding real money credits inside the game as a perk for the free to play crowd. Eve Online or Pirates of the Burning sea are examples of that. It doesn't brake the income, because the amounts of doubloons that the players earn are tiny, but it adds a lot to the fun.

WG is McDonalds of the gaming industry. They have no heart for the games they create, unlike paradox games or elite dangerous in example. The latter companies love their games and strive to be ahead of what the most loyal players demand, I didn't know the economy for the upper tiers is SO broken. I will probably take a long brake in playing WoWs until any news arrives regarding this issue being fixed.
  19. Do you actually know that the module does not affect deceleration, or you are only supposing it does not?

We want lower repair costs too!

I say one thing and it should be put in stone The tier X battles should be break even battles without premium. That is when a battle is over, on average, the sum of credits earned and lost by both sides should add up more or less on average across multiple battles. When one side does better than the other one, the winner side should earn at least as much credits as the loser side lost. The battles themselves should not be a credit sink. This is not an MMO game, it does not need a credit sink at all. One player having tons of credits doesn't damage other players by inflating the in-game prices for items. It is perfectly acceptable when elite veteran players start amassing more credits than they actually know what to do with.. It is not going to kill or damage the game in any way. Maybe repair costs can be nerfed by removing the "maintenance cost", you should pay no repair if you suffered no damage, and on top of that you should earn more participation credits depending on the tier, now it is somewhere around 20k you get if you don't achieve anything, let's say bump that a little like to 50k for tier X, and on top of that, bump up the credits you earn for doing damage to a high tier ship, making it easier to earn credits when doing damage to high tier enemies. And what about mid - level gaming? Just expand the content, adding more fleets, and maybe even expanding the national fleets by inventing new categories like "light cruiser" and "heavy cruiser" in order to have twice the amount of cruisers per nation, same with battleships and battlecruisers is possible. And on top of that, have ranked battle leagues that make having these ships worthwhile for advanced players. Or have a Need for Speed model, where you have a giant sub tech tree for a each ship you open up once you reach the elite level and you can grow that ship by adding tiny perks that give you very tiny bonuses as well as having some offsetting effects, like tweaking the shell type in your gun, should it be heavier and slower or should be lighter and faster? Should you add some armor plates and make the ship heavier and slower, or remove armor and make the ship lighter? Remove a secondary cannon? Remove/ Add AA cannons on your ship? Add too much and the ship is too top heavy. Those tiny perks could be researcherable on elite ships for the XP, giving the player endless reasons to play a ship that he likes. Simple? Simple. PS. but we know how little WG gives for player feedback.
