True mate. Actually my last submarine HMs/m Ocelot is a museum piece there now at Chatham. And before you ask... nope I don't play subs in WOW's they just don't do it for me.

Really surprised you included a taxi and bus yet didn't show one of the most famous landmarks devoted to Britains navy. I speak of Trafalgar Square and Nelsons Column.

Update 0.10.4 – German Destroyers: Part 2

Clicked on the e mail you sent me to get my free gift of 24 hours premium. Accepted all cookies as asked by you. Read all the relevant blurb to get my free 24 hours of premium. Then I didn't get jack crap from you at Wargaming, and couldn't find any way to claim it. No big deal but it's just another example of how you relate to the players. -
Once upon a time I would have been keen to take part in this event. But since the latest update, and specifically the new Captains skills rework I just can't raise the enthusiasm. I have happily played this game since beta and never complained, often playing 6 to 8 hour sessions many times a week. I had 12 Elite Commanders which was a long hard grind to achieve. This rework means I now have to grind 14.4 million Commander points just to get back to where I was before the update. Now when I join the game I'm completely disheartened, and usually play one or two games and then the depressing thought of how long it will take me to get back to where I was before your awful update just kills any enthusiasm and sense of enjoyment, and I log out. I feel that this last update has been bloody cruel to your most loyal players and shown how little you care about them. I won't ask you to reconsider as I know WarGaming is quite happy to cut it's nose off to spite it's own face rather than admit they made a mistake. For the first time since I started playing this game I am now having to ask myself "What is the point of staying with the game when they could just do the very same thing to the players again at any time" and that thought means that as much as I wanted to stay with the game this might be the right time to walk away. That is so depressing.

Just something that I hope will make you smile. I served on HMS Victorious. Of course when I served on her she had already been given a very long refit and had an angled flight deck added, and was flying jets then (Buccaneers, Sea Vixens and a Gannet for airborne early warning. They certainly got their value for money from the old Victorious as she was still going almost 25 years after the war ended. A lesser known fact that adds to the story of why Victorious was in the United States was because the Americans had a shortage of ocean going carriers briefly and asked if the British Government would send one out to the Pacific to fill a gap in cover. All signals that were sent to the Victorious by the Americans were sent to the codename 'USS Robin' to confuse the enemy. Ready Aye Ready. Steady Boys Steady. Best wishes to all.... Eazy Rider.

I have to admit it seems like you have set a new precedent by insisting players have to buy a premium ship before they can play any of the the combat missions in game. I hope you rethink this policy, especially as it's part of the Christmas events. Even Scrooge would blush in embarrassment at this one guys. C'mon Wargaming make this the last mission instead of the first and give us a choice. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to one and all from an old Submariner. -
You state that "Good news for coop players is that carriers will now be included on the bot team" at the next update. My only escape from the CV BS as a destroyer player was to play coop and now that option has gone. I think many players went to coop and left random games because of CV's, so I have a feeling that Wargamings intention with this move was to say that we might as well come play on random again because there is now no escape from playing games with carriers in them. Thanks for nothing Wargaming.

Actually I did point out that I was talking about newer players not myself. After over 12 years in the Royal navy I'm hardly a sensitive snowflake. Your suggestion makes sense but.. If one of these players has several people insulting them by the time they've followed your instructions and selected each name to mute they will probably have been sunk. It distracts from the game, and will have to be done repeatedly in every game. I still think a simple 'on or off' button is fast and effective for those that want it. It wouldn't affect your game but may well improve theirs. Thanks for your reply. Eazy.

I have been a player on WOW's since beta. This is my first post. I would like to mention just how toxic in game text chat has become. I watch players being harassed and insulted all the time, especially newer players. The smallest mistake in the game can cause a torrent of abuse directed at the player that made the mistake. Often the comments used are quite disgusting too and the term 'retard' has become commonplace, usually prefaced with many F words first. I do understand that in individual battles it would be impossible to mod every text chat. So I think it's time wargaming introduced a simple 'chat on or off' button for players, instead of the current choice which makes you repeat the action for every game, and can be difficult for new players to find. I do understand that communication can enhance the game for teams. But I think many new players walk away from the game because of the insults and toxic atmosphere in text chat directed at them. If it's impossible to police then make it easy to switch off is my suggestion. Best wishes to all. Eazy.
