  1. The avatar of the new eldar god, the ynnead, the eldars champion against slaneesh, is also twin-gendered if you look at its art, it has a male face but two tits and a rather skinny body. It seems to be the new eldar thing, to be gender ambigious. It was not so in older editions. They were all female. These are old slaneesh daemonette models before GW went SJW. Two tits? Six has to be better. As you can understand, with the influx of subversive marxist SJWs into western culture producing companies, these tit-monsters had to go and be replaced with you know what because it is infinite gender inclusive and also we can not have fit daemonettes with big tits because that is not body positive. And that is also why Ignis Purgatio captain is recruited from #blacklivesmatter. The thing is that neither women nor #BLM are interested in Games Workshops's products, its all white nerds who spends millions of man hours painting models, this is purely political moralizing.     Timing does not help because it takes longer than 30 seconds to turn the ship. Just getting the rudder to max turn takes 20 sec on a high tier BB. And getting stuck on an island after avoidance manuvering isnt something you can really plan ahead for. Adding more consumable gimmicks will not help BBs cap more. Hydro on GK is somewhat of a gimmick because the ship is so large and clumsy that even if you see the torps at 4km you cannot avoid them.
  3. The problem with BB camping is related to fundamental elements in the wargaming game model. If you move forward in a bb or cruiser you are committed. You cannot disengage. If you find that there are more enemy ships in front of you, than you thought, you are doomed. If you turn, you will suffer massive broadside damage due to the artillery and armor models. If you dont turn, you have to back out of there at 10-12 knots while suffering heavy bombardment killing you a bit slower than turning. If you try to manuver, you will have to do out of spotting range because you need to present broadside to shift position. What WG has done is to take World of Tanks and transition it to water - you are really not playing world of warships but world of tanks on water. Playing a BB is like playing an armored assault gun or infantry tank, playing a cruiser is like playing a thin skinned tank destroyer, playing a DD is like playing a bren carrier with anti-tank missiles. You have to look for hull down cover just like a tank, you have to watch your sides for flankers just like in a tank etc etc. You move into a firing position and then you start to take enemy units in the open under fire. Just like a tank. Once you understand that this isnt a ship game but a tank game things will be much clearer. If I play BB being closer than 15 km to any other BB is too close. If you are at this range you can chance a turn and have a fair chance to not take fat damage depending on BB. F.ex Yamato is utterly unsuitable to short or medium ranges because she plays like an assault gun, your turrets turn so slow that it is faster to aim with the entire hull. And you have a massive overwater citadel that makes it very dangerous for you to turn or get flanked. I dont understand why wargaming makes ships like this, she could have considerably faster turrets and still be unsuitable to short and medium ranges because of that citadel, but at least you would have the chance to fire back. Another thing that is anti mobile play is that large ships not only have huge inertia and huge turn radius, they also have slow rudders and slow engines that take a full minute to go from 0 to 100% power and another minute to put into backing. In reality you had a low-pressure turbine used just for backing, so changing engine from forward to reverse did not require the main machinery to stop and reverse. You could go full speed ahead and still thrown the machinery into full reverse by the engine guys redirecting the steam. So, in short, the wargaming team has programmers and graphic artists, but they have no game designers, and that is why this game suffers. The game model is too simplistic and also unsuitable, and they are not intending to change it. Submarine battles was cringe as the physics model simply do not have room for submarines.

  5. Neither Moskva or Stalingrad are very tanky, they blow up easy from flank shots and are very unmanuverable due to large turn radius.
  6. This "broadsides must be punished" meme is why the game is so static. This is something that is carried over from world of tanks. In real life warships sailed broadside to each other and "crossing the T" which meant that the enemy was bow on but you were broadside to him was considered to be the most advantageous position a warship could be in. This was because shells in real life behaved very different from shells in wows. Depth scattering was much larger than sideways scattering so being bow on meant that you were easier to hit while your rear arnament was unavailable. Shells also fell from a steeper angle than in wows. In Wows this meme makes it so that he who pushes cannot retreat other than by backing up since he cannot turn or he will get instantly sunk. This gives the tactical advantage to the defender,. which makes the game static. You can see this in elite clan matches where very little movement takes place and the ships mostly sits behind islands doing nothing. It means that good players camp camp camp and only move forward when they are certain they will overcome the enemy in front of them. You do not understand it, wargaming does not understand it, but every decent player understands it.

    The yamato legandary upgrade reduces the total spread concentrating all your shots into a smaller area no matter the RNG. Sigma upgrade gives you a bit better RNG. Its not the same.

  9. You could give Amagi 8 km secondaries and it would do very little difference overall. Being in secondary range is not something you want to be in a battleship. Wargaming could not formulate a theorethical model for secondary batteries so they just gave up, said damn it and introduced the command fire skill that is very user unfriendly.
  10. Thats another thing that I find so lame with this collabration, the names. In Warhammer 40k imperial ships have names like "Lord Solar Macharius", "His Will Be Done", "Fist of Macragge". We get Ignis Purgatio - cleansing fire. Duh. That is lame and not very martial. Chaos ships have names like "Skullfathers Wrath", "The Word of Lorgar", "Tormentor", "Pleasure And Pain" (depending of chaos god affinity and warband) etc etc. Instead we get "Ragnarok", a name that would fit a vessel of the loyalist Space Wolf legion! Thats just totally utterly tragically laaaaaaaaaaaaame!. The creative department of wargaming has obviously not read a single warhammer 40k novel. This creative "collobration" shoudl be redone, with Dasha and Alina dressed up as slaneeshi cultists.
  11. Depends a bit on their warband affilation, but you need to have some kind of integrity field in the warp or your ship starts to melt and flow from the psychic emanations of its human crews.

  13. You cant have warhammer 40k without skulls and flayed faces. You do not know warhammer 40k and the decorations. BTW both ships should have gargyoles everywhere, its part of the anti-daemonic intrusion system in warhammer 40k ships.

They are reskins of Amagi, and bad reskins too, they do not have reverse bows, the secondary arnament is left as it is and not visually modded into macrocannos, the turrets do not look like lance turrets, the superstructure does not look like gothic cathedrals etc etc etc. The Khorne ship also lacks skulls and flayed faces, its simply not warhammer 40k, its wargaming 40 euro, and it is lame.

    That would not solve anything, the problem is not lack of information, the problem is that if you play agressive you cannot turn away and disengage because you will take massive damage and this is a consequence of the ballistic modelling and armor layout of the ships. So once committed, you are stuck. Smart BB players only committ when they are certain of victory. Hydro or radar means nothing when you are so clumsy that you get stuck on islands because your turning radius is too large and you rudder shift is superslow and stop/reverse/go forward ability is slow so if you get stuck on some island you will spend a couple of minutes getting unstuck while turning your ship this way and that way and waiting for your engine to go from full astern to ahead. You dont want to enter caps in a BB because you have no real exit save going backwards. It would be better to improve the rudder time, lower turning radius and change engine speed up slow down parameters instead of introducting bb radar and sonar. Even with relatively fast rudder by bb standards a large turning radius is very crippling, see moskva for an example.

    No, being up front with a BB is just asking to get sunk. The mechanics of this game does not reward pushing. It is only in very rare circumstances that you can push with a BB.

    Sorry that I was not clear. It was my secondaries (with command firing captain skill) that fired 58 rounds and hit with 2. Even with command fire skill your main guns are your primary weapon and 280 mm main guns are no longer capable of AP penetrations against DD hulls, which has nerfed them significantly against DDs.

    Being aggressive in a BB gets you sunk fast because BBs are huuuge and enormously clumsy targets that are easy to hit with shells and torpedoes. The entire game model requires BBs to stand off and snipe.

    If you think the team is lacking you should use the chat and tell other team members what you intend to do and what you want them to do. Very few people use the chat but there are plenty of morons who serial-click on the minimap spamming squares and leaving the team to guess what they mean.

    This is nonsense because if you yolo forward you end up in 4v1 situations and die real fast even if you are a BB. In a flimsy supercruiser it goes even faster. Since bb caliber main guns have been seriously nerfed against dds it means that your secondaries have to pick up the slack and these supercruisers simply have not good enough secondary batteries to do the dd hunting job a regular cruiser can do. With command fire your accuracy is still crap against a 30+ knot dd, in last ranked my gneisenau (with command fire captain) fired 58 rounds against a vanquelin with speed boost on parallell course and hit with 2.

    30 mm deck + bb-sized ship = prepare to get rekt by >430 mm bbs and fast spamming 152 mm cruisers with IFHE. You are too large to dodge and you dont have the armor to take hits.

    How do you deal with Sinopses? The only real way of defeating them with Nagato is to stand off outside their range and hit their deck with your guns, doing average 2x pen damage every 30 seconds. If the Sinop runs forward into effective range he will melt you in no time since his shells will omni-penetrate the huge 26 mm areas of Nagato, and he will drop ~4 hits on you per salvo. The only effective bounce area you have is your 229 mm partial side plating but if you slant you risk a citadel in the turret cheek.

    Armor is crap compared to Gneisenau so expect it to evaporate faster than a Gneisenau. And this ship will meet T10 enemies.

    Top ranked battle players sucking at random?

    To rank out with a winrate below 50% you need to top the scoreboard a lot to save your stars. And you do need to have some type of skill to rank out. Ranked players knows the best island hiding spots, the best parking spots, uses tactics you dont see in random and more.
  25. World of Warships is essentially World of Tanks That Are Floating On Water. The game model is just too simple and crude to allow for interesting submarine play.
