That out of the way. On Topic. I really think that there shouldn't be a ship compareable in caliber to Yamato / Musashi. First the guns on German BBs are frustrating enough, their theme up to T10 was under Caliber but good ROF so making one with bigger caliber simply doesn't seem like the most fitting nor is it really needed as the Kurfurst is quiet the nice ship if you play her to her strenghts. -
does the game secretly aim for the player?

if you can aim yes you are, especially with myokos improved dispersion. If you can not aim you will miss because myoko due to her good dispersion will slam them all into the water. That is in conjunction with the assumption that you mean in this game. *shrug* There is never a Reason not to. Makes a major diffrence if i define a target for my gunnery officers or if i just say aim for 234° starboard elevation 15°....... And don't even start me on "Reality" you have a lot of tools to meassure a ship in line of sight and yet one degree elevation can make 500m - 1 km diffrence. Depending on waves. So yeah in short this game corrects some aiming it also adjust for relative shipmovement what it does not do is define the point you aim for , the rest is more or less adjusted and assisted. And the Locking of a Target simulates the order to shoot on a specific target. We should keep in mind we still deal with artillery guns here. -

I agree with Redcap there, and as i said a replay to look at it would be nice, because having a turtleback doesn't preven grenades from bgoing up in the ship and cause a normal penetration you can even aim high enough on ships to cause exactly that normal penetrations and just because you took your time to do this : it is still the same issue mate, post replay or go home. Otherwise no one can answer anything for you no matter how much they read, the .... impressions.....

Usually not no. As is "I did this with X and it worked... while i did this with y failed" Information : 0 Feelings & Personal Observations do not change that. What where you 6km way from? Are you sure it was a citadel and not a normal penetration REPLAY, Detail Screen information So? I do that to hindenburgs all the time, pen them from the front slap them from the side. If you know where to shoot and if the hindenburg is "Smart" enough to get into 6k Range you know what he is up to.

It is pretty obivious they exchanged soundfiles with lower volume mixed sounds in this "hotfix" as Notification sounds and out of battle sounds are still extraordinary loud. So generally you'd have to rework the way it is used at the moment because i have no equalizer for any sound running even checked their loudness box and yet my gun in the battle goes a soft Pop while a consumeable is sounding like somehting wants to to rip out of the ship., so yeah pretty equalize the whole sounds in general or put in the old ones because the system in place right now is just not working . Let me give another example the move over sound for the board below the battle button has a click sound that is so loud that it even is louder than the change sound when you clock on a registercard there.... And i have tuned down my SFX to 50% now and still this issues persist. I rather be jumped by gunsounds and echos than by the god damn menu clicks and tocks and what do i know. Also the backround volume of the new port is not getting surpressed at all when you open the configuration menu via esc. It's really rather confusing. Another ingame issue noted is that you have no engine sound in front of the vessel but a real confusing variety behind them. Take another example, move over the ships in the port it gives an audible click, select one and it gives a barely hearable confirmation sound. Found another example showing the problems with the directional sound , i am at the moment in Hawai port because that designer table port creeps the hell out of me watching a ship from the front i have some audio from a harbor when i watch it from the back i get suddenly some wind and when i watch it from the side i hear the waves splash , that are not audible at any other side of the vessel... this confuses the living daylights out of me to be honest.

Sound still out of Whack : Menu Clicks barely audible. Notifications still very very loud. No echo from gun sounds anymore I don't wanna be the party pooper there but now it feels like the game is kind of mute. Can we maybe just get a broad tune down of the loudness and not individual adjusted sounds?

[edited]ark royal?.... do you know how long ago it was i tested that thing? I doubt it does see other matchmaking than the other T6 CVs, if memory serves it has the slow planes you described and yeah they do not get much better and it sucks hard on higher tiers... still.... git gud and make it happen. (Sorry didn't catch up i am sitting in one of this meetings that serverly damages your ability to read...) -

Well... I do. But i learned a while ago that my matchmaking doesn't equal everyones matchmaking. And getting uptiered hard in the T6 is normal considdering you only have one tier down to go via matchmaking. But the AP Bombers work on Bismarks just as they work on bayerns so its a matter of skill but it is a lot harder to make Ryujo work , once you do it's great fun. -

Pfff you just need to git gud... :S Seriously Mate, she is very much broken if you have a basic understanding and slap some torpedo acceleration on it. keep in mind the other boats are not very fast and the planes have 1380 HP to play with it takes a ton of time to kill even one of the suckers. Well the Zeros as rocket planes suck, the rest is rather decent, especially the AP bombs. -

I could give you a hint... but that would not MIRROR good and accepted Forum Etiquette. I know this idiots are really bad..... My other Theory is that they all suddenly stopped from Driving their German BB's at the Back of the Map to join Ranked to be annoying..

I in particular dislike thouse they sound like spun up turbos all the time, thats not the reassuring muffled bass sound i am used to from a ship with oil fired boilers -.- but i ignore that if the whol package does fit. I noticed yesterday something VERY odd. First off Plane sounds are plain horrible as they are now, also BTD Destroyers on the Midway sound diffrent from each other what confused the living hell out of me as well... Attacksounds are fine but the lift off where the engine starts while the 3rd plane flys off is just meh... Well i also want to explitily praise the visual upgrades this whole mess of strange sounds damn looks awesome now, especially the water... :) And 127mm guns do sound how they should sound... Also Yamato was a very great experience to fire her main guns. That bug really endeared her gunsound to me.

Congratulations you just noticed that Ohio is indeed diffrent to Montana, She also is absolutely fine as she is right now as you conviniently left out Caliber in your comparasion and the fact that a coal ship should not just placed into the game to murder the Techtree Variant. She certainly is hard to deal with as she is in capable hands and that is totally fine, this ship should be a variant and not an upgrade via coal.

The Settings in the Hotfix sadly do not change anything. Some notifications are very much out of whack.

Other nice example, Notification that runs through the right bursts your Eardrums, normal Menu Click is silent, then you go out of the close expterior view suddenly it's turned arround...-.- Wth Guys... -

Well i think the sounds are allright their settings and configs seem off. I don't have a problem with the new sounds just the level they are played at, because it feels like it was tested on one system that had specific settings but the roll out version seems brutally diffrent. -

I have the very same problem with the Sound now. The guns are all over the place, sinking ships make noises beyond normal, Menu Sounds are far to loud at the moment they jump you.... Quiet unbearable.
