You'll get an unlocked stock Buffalo and a stock tier eight Cleveland. You'll probably have to unlock Dallas and Helena.

One should also keep in mind that against high tier German and US battleships, Yamato, Moskva and Khabarovsk German HE penetration is pretty handy.

I've seen a few Edinburghs, Neptunes and Minotaurs using radar. I guess if they're in divisions with destroyers, changes are higher, but all in all it's still a rarity. Because of that rarity they can screw you pretty badly, so I'm trying to keep them in the back of my mind.

@Quazie Black has three slots. In the third one ‎Engine Boost, ‎Defensive AA Fire or ‎Surveillance Radar can be mounted. So she can have smoke and radar at the same time. Why don't you just link the semi-official spreadsheet? http://wiki.wargaming.net/en/Ship:Consumables#Surveillance_Radar

Alpha damage is high, penetration force low on ze Germans. If you penetrate it with Hindenburg, you'd penetrate it with any other tier ten heavy cruiser.
