But doens't that mean rewards kind of double? For example, I play clan battles only. While I'm obtaining three flags and therefore Stalingrad I'm collecting also steel to get a Flint? But well... we will see.

But why? Let's say Stalingrad is 9000 steel and you get 3000 for each flag converted. Where's the problem?

They already announced that you'll be able to get ships like Flint, Black and Stalingrad by using steel. Maybe they completely remove the "ships for flags option", who knows.

Coal for port-/commander-slots would be nice. But I guess they don't want to give you the possibility to doubloons -> (port-slot ->) coal. I know it'll probably be possible to get coal by buying containers, but you're not getting that much oil for it right now. More than rumours... ;) -

I guess personal oil and maybe Stalingrad flags will be converted into steel/coal.

This even happens to me even without a plane active and it's VERY annoying! -
If you own the New Orleans (T8) when the patch hits, you'll get Baltimore (T8) and New Orleans (T7). Selling both should net you more credits.
