i hate RNG with a passion these days...following scenario me in iowa firing at a stationary(!!!) izumo at 18km or so aim dead center 8 out of 9 shells miss...3 times in a row...thats usually the moment where i wanna punch somebody cause its just utter BS -

quite the opposite id say. so far i have suffered through New Orleans and Mogami and Kutuzov is, from my initital impressions, the best of the 3. sure, the guns do less direkt damage but the firing rate is insane...add fires and you get the picture.

the very defintion of randmoness: one guy crits all the time while one guy never does and yet both results are based on the same chance to crit. thats randomness. now saying its manipulated is bogus but i still dislike the fact that my hits are decided by the throw of a dice. we all had those moments where a perfectly aimed salvo will land 4 behind, 2 in front and 0 in the middle where it would actually hit. -

well, looking at all T10 DDs shimakaze is easiest to plays as it doesnt have to rely on its guns but is the only one thats viable at torping stuff. -

play DD for the most part and agree that number of DDs in T8+ is just silly. played 3 matches with my gearing yesterday all had at least 8 DDs in them. limit to 3 per team and thats that. -
just moved on to the mogami from the myoko and at first i thought the range was some kinda joke...then i saw the pitiful increase with mods ... wtf is this ? if i approach a tirpitz head on he can get 2 full salvos in before i even can return fire ... if he kites a whole lot more than that...not even talking about geting citaled left and right. i really do get the feeling that they're trying to push the Atago here ... and like it or not having the only 2 viable ships in a tier(no the New Orleans is not viable...ive been through that) being store ships, thats P2W

ok...how hard is it to NOT have the matchmaking drag T3 ships into T6 battles. just had a REALLY fun battle where our only BB was a South Carolina ... enemy Team had New Mexico ... rest was mostly T5 cruisers...take a guess how that turned out. i mean, i dont get it. why is the simple fact that a player is in a division able to completely disrupt the matchmaking system. explain it to me.

stopped reading at this point: The matchmaking system tries to put same ships on each team (Gearing + Shimakaze vs Gearing + Shimakaze, not 2xGearing vs 2xShimakaze) complete and utter bollocks...whoever plays T10 on a regular basis knows this. its almost always gearing + gearing vs. shima + shima -

Gearing without smokescreen is essentially pointless. the whole idea of T10 gunboat gameplay is flawed considering how easily you get ripped to shreds and how often you get spotted by planes. only viable T10 DD currently is shima thanks to torpwall. Gearing is fun when playing against T8 + T9 as you rip anything to shreds outside a BB but at equal Tier it just sucks. -
so tell me, did ask for an explanation about something i allraedy new or a fix ? hint: its the latter.

the very definition of fun gameplay...pop smoke and shoot guns while sitting almost still ... the whole gunship idea is ridiculous considering things like zao and des moines who'll rip you to shreds once detected. i find the gearing the biggest leat down of the entire game so far and wish id never sold the fletcher who is way more fun to play. -
so....i finally moved from Fletcher to Gearing... apart from the fact i loathe the gunship gameplay i keep asking myself wth is wrong with the guns on the gearing ? arey they made of paper ? literally the first time i get hit one of the damn things goes. most matches i end up with just having my rear turret available... what's up with that ? am i missing something or am I doomed to just sit in smoke and fire my guns ?

to add insult to inury ofc theres the issue of repair costs ... its a joke man. just had a game in the gearing ... 2125 base xp ... 70k damage caused, 3 kills, top of my team ... barely manage to break even(70k) WITH premium...without premium it would have been -30k....seriously..W...T...F... -

Its getting beyond a joke now, especially on the weekends. As much as i enjoy playing my Gearing the matchmaking ruins it for me 95% of the time. Couple of issues here really. 1) number of DDs...cap it ... please ... 3 is enough, more is no fun for anyone. possible 3 shimakaze is allready borderline 2) Tier imbalance ... my last game enemy team had 2 x T10 + 2 x T8 BB vs. 1 x T9 and 3 x T8 on our team ... 3) divisions "breaking" matchmaking...why you still havent got a hold of this is beyond me. if they wanna group up thats fine but make 'em wait to balance the numbers out instead of ruining the MM with it. 4) Imbalances in Ship-Types within a class. what i mean by that ? 2 x Gearing on one team vs. 2 x Shimakaze on the other...again, why ? Why not spread 'em out evenly. honestly, its just frustrating right now. -

i daresay whoever claims DDs are op has never played one. every 2nd game my gearing ends up with only 1 turret left after i get hit by a salvo. not to mention the awful torpedos. -
just make sure to have paper towels ready once you get to the Hatsuharu ... you're gonna cry ... a lot ...
