Awesome work. Although one thing that kinda bothers me is that the Mogami is set up with 155s in the spreadsheet, but since 0.5.3 arrived most people are using the 203s. Also for all other ships the specs are for the upgraded ship. And another thing that I noticed is that the ranges on the Mogami and Myoko are wrong. The last update buffed the range on the Mogami to 15.7 and nerfed the range on the Myoko to 15.6.

I tend to use Last Stand on cruisers that have fast enough turret traverse speed that Expert Marksman isn't worth getting. -
Got a source for the 18 reloads on the Fubuki class? Most sources I've found say that it had either 3, 6 or 9 reloads.

Usage of "Premium Consumables" - do you guys use it on all your ships/tiers or use it selectively?

Premium heal on all BBs and CAs that have it, premium smoke on US DDs. Debating picking up premium repair for some of my ships. -
Does the guide have to cover all of the tier 8-10 ijn bbs or just one of them? Don't have the Izumo and Yamato yet.

I'm not saying that these things need to be realistic. Quite the opposite, I'm saying that people simply shouldn't expect the game to be realistic.

Let me quickly list a few things in this game which are unrealistic: - the speed of ships - the ranges on ships - spotting mechanics - HP based damage system - ships of different nations fighting alongside each other - ships fighting alongside each other without having planned tactics for the battle and without having someone who commands them - ships are in tiers and can't fight any ships that are on more than 2 tiers higher/lower - all destroyers have torpedo reloads And this is just the start of the list. In short: if you want to play a realistic game, play another one.

Making WoWs realistic would be more difficult than just making a new realistic game from scratch.

I think I read something about ppve missions with stuff like coastal artillery coming up. Not sure though.

AFAIK, the spotting ranges for torpedoes are based purely on caliber and speed of the torpedoes.

1 in game knot is faster than a real life knot. In reality, a knot is 0.5 meters per second. This would mean that the maximum distance a 30kts ship would be able to move in 20 minutes would be 18 kilometers. Yet it's possible to move a lot further.

Nothing about the German ships was changed, you're just experiencing confirmation bias. -
The ships are a lot faster than in real life because battles would take a lot longer otherwise.

It's a bug that happens when dying while the heal is active. After you get killed, it can still recover a little bit of health sometimes.

Gun range isn't really a problem for the Mogami imo. And really, I don't mind that the 155mm guns are a lot weaker than the 203mm guns. Why? The ship was never intended to actually use the 155mm guns, the only reason it had them was because Japan was still part of the London naval treaty. But it was designed from the beginning to have the turrets swapped out for the 203mm ones.

Wrong. The Izumo never existed. But the turrets were used on the Yamatos.

Putting the reticle on the bow of a moving Cleveland never really worked for me. At 10km I would assume that the shells take about 7-8s to arrive at the target(wouldn't have to estimate it with in game alternative interface) and it's going at ~30kts, so I'd be aiming somewhere around the 12th tick on the crosshair. As a rule of thumb I assume that one tick on the crosshair is the distance a ship at 20kts travels in one second.

Survival in an Atago is all about angling and dodging, like any cruiser at that tier.

I Have played the Myoko quite a bit since the patch and the 0.5km less range barely affects it.

Never experienced this issue. The system only pays attention to a single player. You can set that player by pressing X while looking at him.

Actually every single shot gets its own RNG, so it doesn't make a difference. -
I hope you aren't serious. There is a huge amount of paper ships in the game. Just to name a few: Montana, Izumo, Myogi, Yorck, Roon.

Tell that to the Lexington which recently took 15k HP with dive bombers on my Aoba. While my defensive AA was active and I was maneuvering to avoid his torps.

I think that ATM, the Atago is the best t8 cruiser by a decent margin. The citadel size really isn't something special at that tier, hipper and mogami get citadelled just as easily. Can't really judge the citadel on the New Orleans as I don't have it and don't meet em often enough to make a proper judgement of the citadel size. AA may be a bit lackluster, but it's still enough for self-defense and carriers aren't too common these days anyway. And I don't see how having 5 turrets is a weakness. I have seen some people complaining about range, but it can easily compensate for that with stealth.

Don't ever use AP with it at ranges above 8km, the trajectories on AP are a lot worse than HE.
