[edited]. A fire takes 0.3% of your HP per second. Even if a DD should somehow be able to set 4 fires on you, the fires could take a maximum of 72% of you HP in a minute. And keep in mind that the health lost by fires can be completely healed back using the damage repair party consumable.

If they have done a mistake they should admit it. But giving it selectively and not for the sake of customer retention, getting new customers or similar seems just stupid. So they either a) have sent it to the wrong people and don't admit it or b) targeted these emails to the people who actually got it on purpose, with seemingly no real logic to who got an email and who didn't. I don't really care which one of these is right, but both are really [edited]stupid on WG's part and that's what I'm criticizing.

Only just noticed that the ship mentioned was Gneisenau not Scharnhorst. Wouldn't it be a bit strange to get the name ship of a class as a premium and another ship of that class as a silver ship? Usually they do it the other way around, which would mean Gneisenau as premium and Scharnhorst as silver ship.

Scharnhorst with 380mm guns might turn out to be another Myogi - terrible accuracy combined with low number of guns. But on the other hand a combination of great speed, armor and torps should make up for it.

Today has really been tough for me. 12 ranked battles played, only one star gained.

Warspite actually gets to keep the secondary upgrade.

I don't have infinite of them, but I haven't run out of them in quite a while because for every time I detonate I get 10 of them and in addition to that there is other possibilities to get them(got tons of them from ranked). And please tell me what other upgrade can be completely replaced with a simple flag? Detonations are a mechanic they should never, ever balance anything around, not even upgrades.

There actually isn't an awful lot of toxicity in the first league right now. Sure sometimes people rage about their team members being noobs , but chat is still much better than in randoms.

Could you tell us what the criteria for receiving these gifts were? Just curious because I didn't get anything.

Welp, I considered 0.5.5 the worst update for a long time because of the introduced 3s delay to getting invisible, but this update is gonna be several times as bad. Shitty cyclones, terrible upgrade changes and increasing detonation chance? There is a good chance that I won't be playing this game anymore next week.

Ugh, lots of shitty changes coming in this patch with very few good ones. And then there is this part that makes me want to just deinstall the game: Really? I have mounted that upgrade on every single one of my ships and you're replacing it with a useless upgrade instead of the proper replacement for it? I mean seriously, there is a flag that does exactly the same thing as the new Magazine modification but A LOT better. Across 20+ ships I have in my port this is gonna cost me at least 2.5m credits.

The question to ask would be which people received the in-game poll? I certainly have never seen an in-game poll about cyclone.

I would recommend reading this guide: https://forum.worldofwarships.eu/index.php?/topic/18034-basics-damage-mechanics It doesn't directly tell you which ammo type to use in which situation but lets you understand why AP or HE are more effective in different situations. I'd recommend you to experiment yourself which ammunition type is effective in which situations.

These abbreviations are from the US navy hull codes. All hull codes have two letters which determine the ship type. The first letter is for the general type of ship(C=Cruiser, B=Battleship, D=Destroyer). The second letter often determines the sub-type, such as DE for destroyer escort or CL for light cruiser. But if there isn't any subtype then it's just the same letter twice such as DD. The abbreviations that you're gonna meet in wows are: - DD for destroyer - CA for heavy cruiser(also often used for cruisers in general) - CL for light cruiser - BB for battleship - CV for aircraft carrier

Usually there is more than 1 DD per team though and it's still possible to stealth cap with it using smoke.
