    Just had Spellfire40(Amagi) and Jethro_Grey(Kagero) in my team while I was playing Izumo. I died first but did a lot of damage and tanked a ton of shells before that.

    The Gneisenau(gonna be the silver ship) is gonna be a lot closer to the Tirpitz due to having the same 380mm guns, just one less turret(3x2). The Scharnhorst(premium) on the other hand will have 3x3 280mm guns.

    Replay or didn't happen. Also there are destroyers that can get as close as 5.4km without getting spotted at those tiers. But if all of you got sunk by him that easily then you really need to learn to use WASD.

    It kinda sorts the players, but only to a certain extent. Had a Myoko in my team earlier who tk'd our CV because he thought that the CV was playing badly. And this happened in the first league.

    Yep. Idk how they would think that starting this kind of event now would be a smart idea. But even later when people start reaching rank 1, MM times for the t10 ranked battles will probably be 15+ minutes given that only people who reached rank 1 and have t10 ships can participate. Heck, even 15 minutes seems somewhat optimistic.

    Without a 15 point captain playing CVs in ranked is rather stupid though. And training a captain to that is gonna take a while.

    Just checked, it has indeed 5. Although on the C hull it loses a gun for a bit of AA and the ability to mount the defensive fire consumable. However I see very few people with that hull around.

    This part is somewhat wrong. Among IJN DDs, the average damage barely rises from tier 4 all the way to tier 9, only at tier 10 it sees a somewhat decent increase. And heck, the average damage from Fujin and Kami R is only about 5k behind the Shima(stats from Warships.today, last two weeks).

    Ugh, every damn soldier carrying an SMG, Tanks driving at 30kmh+, etc. Truly gives a WWI feel.

    My main problem with this is that many people seem to take this as an excuse for GNB, despite tons of people who participated in GNB being left out. And really, would you feel fairly treated if half the people got something for free only due to them being randomly selected and you didn't?

    If you miss at short ranges it's usually an issue with your aim. Sometimes RNG can screw you over, but most of the time it's incredibly easy to do tons of damage to ships close to you in BBs.

    1. I ain't gonna believe that you only did 2380 dmg with 8 shell hits to a broadside Molotov unless you provide a replay to prove it. 2. If you got within 4km of a cruiser with torps, it's your fault.

    If you're out of position you're dead, no matter the class you're in. And if a DD can easily predict your movement pattern, you're doing something wrong.

    The likelihood of a torpedo to hit its target depends very little on the skill of the one firing the torpedo and almost completely on the one getting hit. Saying that it's easy to hit with torpedoes is utter BS.

    I'm experiencing pretty much the opposite of you. Took me merely 55 battles to move from rank 18 to rank 8, but the 23 battles I've played since I've reached rank 8 only got me two stars in total.
