WTF with this german BB line? No pocket battleships and probably no historical Gneisenau/Scharnhorst?

The pocket battleships have no place in a BB tree as they aren't battleships but heavy cruisers. It has been confirmed that Gneisenau will get the 380mm guns but the 280mm guns should also be viable due to their RoF. -
The guns could have been balanced by other means than just the quantity of them like accuracy and RoF. So 4x2 wouldn't neccesarily have meant being undergunned.

König Albert and Scharnhorst are premiums and not in the regular line though.

Well both Yorck and Roon were also Roon-class CAs, but they are completely different ships in game. Which is fine imo because there were plenty of names that were used for multiple different ships in real life.

Actually US DDs, CAs and CVs and also IJN DDs would also go to tier 10 as all of those have been built. But yeah, having ship lines incomplete isn't something that should happen.

Actually it seems they won't: From the 0.5.8 patch notes. Not a single german non-premium BB in that list.

They are already aware of it and the only thing this thread will achieve is spread the mod due to more people knowing about it. But since you said you aren't stupid I assume you are doing that on purpose.

I doubt anyone would ever reach rank 1 if people had to start fresh if they got 3 reports for bad play. Because let's be honest, everyone completely [edited]up a game at times and even if you don't, there are a lot of people reporting for bad reasons.

Doubt the programmers would be doing much with the german BBs. Seems like it should be mostly the designer's job.

Yep, Minekaze is awesome. Just beware that the IJN DD tree doesn't have a lot more good ships left. In fact the only IJN DD after tier 5 is the Fubuki in my opinion. Shimakaze is also kinda ok, but the other ones are rather bad imho.

Imo Scharnhorst with 280 should be in the tech tree and Gneisenau with 380 should be premium.

You calling the Kagero fine when not having played it in the last 90 days is pretty bold. It got hit far harder than the Shima. Now the Kagero isn't worth calling an upgrade over the Fubuki anymore.

Actually it was a battleship, just with smaller guns than usual for a BB.

The Bismarck class also had accurate guns IRL but look at Tirpitz in game. Accurate guns IRL doesn't mean that they will also be in game. -
Gonna be interesting to see what's gonna be in the game first: This event or the royal navy.

The 3km extra range doesn't really matter though. At those ranges, even BBs can easily dodge the shells.
