I disagree as making it that way would cause people at high tiers to be even more afraid of repair costs. -
I'll have to disagree with a few ships on that list. - Yamato is always a good target. Even if can take a few of your planes down, it is barely able to turn and won't dodge any of the torps you get into the water. - Hindenburg and Roon are targets I tend to go for when nothing else good is available. A lot of them are using hydroacoustic search instead of defensive AA, so it's a bit of a gamble which one of them they are using. However both of them also have battleship-like maneuverability, which makes them easy targets to hit when they do not have defensive AA equipped.

So you can't think of any examples outside of dispersion, detonations and AA? And dispersion is the least problematic of that, which means you got a huge problem with RNG in AA and detonations? So large indeed that it makes world of warships comparable to poker in terms of RNG? Oh, and just to complete the list of RNG-dependent things I'll add incapacitations to it, which are not all that common and can often be predicted easily. -
I doubt we will see any people's hit ratios drop once this gets removed. While it certainly has no place in the game and should be removed, aiming purely based on it doesn't give nearly as good results as aiming properly. Just try aiming purely based on this in your next battle and see what results you get. Only situation I can see where it could help an experienced player is shooting targets behind islands as that's quite a bit more difficult to judge than aiming at a target you can actually see.

Actually it's the same torps as on Tirpitz(all german ships have the same torps), so only the number of them is different. -
It's actually 9.3km. Makes it not completely useless for stealth firing but the window is too small to really be able to use it effectively when not using AFT.

It never said that those bonuses would be additive and I don't know what to say if a a 3x captain XP weekend is not good enough for you.

Improved reload. Range is already enough and you'll rarely see carriers at that tier. Meanwhile the turret traverse is amazing without it and doesn't really take too big of a hit with the mod.

When in a cruiser vs cruiser engagement, the general rule is HE if the enemy ship is angled and AP if he's showing broadside. -
Anyone taking that mod would be downright stupid. Detonations happen in roughly 1-2% of all matches, reducing the average damage by a MAXIMUM of that 1-2%. Meanwhile taking that mod would reduce your average damage by about 10%.

Actually the Kongous got faster with their refit(from ~27 to ~30 knots).

Regarding the first thing: there is a 3s delay before you can see a target that has been detected. However there is also a 3s delay before you will stop seeing a target that isn't detected anymore. Regarding the second thing: there's 4 spare seconds in there, should be enough time to aim assuming the turrets are pointing in the right area. Of course 7 salvos will only be under ideal circumstances, but then again I don't see a point arguing whether it's 6 or 7 salvos a Des Moines can fire in that time as it makes little practical difference.

He won't have to wait for his guns to load for the first salvo. So at 0s he shoots the first salvo, at 6s the second, at 12s the third, at 18s the fourth, at 24s the fifth, at 30s the sixth and at 36s the seventh.

Des Moines has a reload of 6s and 40s radar duration. That's seven salvoes it can fire during that time.

So they have done what I feared with Gneisenau and only given it the 380mm guns, which will probably be rather bad - I could imagine that the experience of playing it will be similar to another BB with only 6 barrels and bad dispersion. Another reason why I dislike it is because now using the historical configuration on the Gneisenau isn't possible anymore. Might not buy the Scharnhorst because of this(would've bought it otherwise). -

Would've been fine against the New Mex's and Collorado, but that Yorck and Sims spamming HE on me forced me to turn around, showing broadside to the NM's & Trollorado.
