But the value is not correct. You can be concealed while going at a much higher speed. Which means it is not working as he described it, therefore it is a bug. For example, you stay concealed at 22.9kts while hard turning and slowing down. Interestingly his first puff seems to spawn behind his ship.

The smoke has 4 zones. A) Max speed = 2 puffs B) Below max but not yet at Zone C: 1 puff and ship drifts out. C) 2 puffs again at some speed below B. D) 1 puff again if you are slow. Also dev is really really wrong. "You will not be concealed if you move with the speed more than 12.5 kt "- Not true, it's not consistent."There is no 1-puff, 2-puffs, etc, rule" - Yes there is, maybe it is not intentional but it exists."There is no gamble. Drop the speed to 12.5 and smoke safely" - Getting 1 puff by going really slowly just means any good BB will cit you while you hide in smoke.

You missed the second bit of his post, this hurts DDs a lot too, probably more so than it hurts BBs as they can't just repair all of the fire damage and need to constantly repair modules or be at an increased risk of losing massive chunks of their health pool as they can not dodge as well. Not to mention you now have some massive buffs to survivability from other means. 1% less fire chance all around is a blessing for a class that mainly shoots AP RPF now allows you an option to make torpedo strikes even less likely Fire prevention is insanely good (please stop complaining that you can't be immune to everything and need to spec towards it, that's how it should be) as it will reduce the most common fire scenario to 1 fire and rarely a second from 2 fires and rarely a third. Which means you need to repair less often anyway.

Try that in the Neptune and Minotaur. Notice it's different on the different ships and spend time memorising the speeds that make you most successful for each ship. I'd say if there is a minimum distance between puffs on the other smokes then it should be disabled for smokes with a low activation time. A good BB player will be able to one shot you if you are not ridiculously well angled in your smoke. I've done this many a times to RN CLs who think that one smoke puff hides you when you are stationary and firing your guns.

50% of damage coming from an AI assistant (looking at the match summary above) does seem pretty dirty but they would have to tread softly if they decide to nerf the secondaries. At least they reward you for playing the ships correctly, push in close. Unlike the hydro which is really not needed as it is super easy to dodge torps in the bismarck with vigilance + target acquisition (not to mention the plane). I like how those things require you to make sacrifices in order to be immune to one weakness. Instead of a button that makes you win without needing to spec heavily into it. -
Do the super containers from non try your luck picks always give you what you picked. Yesterday I got 250 flags or whatever the number is and today I got 50 Ocean soul camo. Both from the signals and camouflages option.

Fire is not the main weakness of a DD or CL/CA. Fire prevention would be a buff to these classes if the HE alpha was reduced and fire chance increased on your ship (Fire damage is percentage based so does a lot less compared to the alpha damage the lower your health pool), but just making the superstructure have a maximum of one fire nerfs DDs the most (as they can't pen most of the ship) and also any cruisers who wanted to maximise their damage on BBs by firing at the place where you do the most damage. Most cruisers and DDs have ways to get out of a long range HE spam fight they don't want to be in so this skill is not really suitable. Same thing goes for DE, in a CL or DD the HE alpha damage is the real issue so everyone having a lower fire chance will again hurt them the most as it is their main offensive tool vs BBs. -

My biggest issue with BBs as a cruiser player is just that always having 5 BBs in a game makes HE cruisers more useful than AP reliant cruisers. The damage I do in the kutuzov compared to the hipper is an insane gap, the german cruisers were so much more fun to play when you were fighting other cruisers more often. -

Am I the only one who thinks this is a bad idea, the karma system is just another player metric. The report system will never be able to properly combat bots, relying on the user for cheat prevention is not the solution. "Conditions must be met before report options are available" This would allow bot authors to more easily test their software, just silently ignore reports on the server side if you are going to do anything. "If no bad words have been entered - chat report should be unavailable" We already have a language filter, why wouldn't this just be automatic at this point. "Has the game crashed for this player?" How does the server tell the difference between a crashed client and a bot that closes the connection to the server on purpose. Send crash logs on next startup? "Karma doesn't provide any benefits at the present time, but wouldn't it be nice if it did?" No, it would just lead to people gaming the system. You shouldn't feel like complimenting someone is a transactional thing, it should be a nice pat on the back for a job well done and nothing more.- 47 replies

This isn't about stationary ships. As you can see in Flamu's video he pops his smoke at 22 kts, leaves it at 18 and does not get a second. This is just buggy as hell. -

Aye, I found this bug seems to get worse with the Neptune and the Minotaur but I guess it is just because the window that was working for me in the previous ships does not on these two. Are RN CL captains supposed to figure out and remember the most successful speed windows to smoke for each ship and then still suffer the occasional broken smoke. -
Nerfing Bismarck Sonar wont make it any less Overpowered.

The weekend was terrible for AFK ships in my experience. Had a game where my whole side of the map was AFK. Really depressing.

The Fiji, in my opinion the better T7 RN CL. Still easy to dominate destroyers and has the better AP which makes it better at dealing with cruisers, not to mention the torps and repair.
