I think people are just upset that WG EU took extra care and time to ensure that our christmas event would offer us less for free. I'm mostly confused, I don't get how it is a good business decision, you piss off your customer base and give them less incentive to buy the Graff Spee. Just seems poorly thought through. -
Games with a ton of DDs are re-balanced within the first 2 minutes though, the cap circles become extremely deadly and after an initial engagement it's always back down to 2-3 dds per side.

I need the credits and would have liked the russian cruiser as I don't play the line but heard that one was good. Guess I will stay poor and just stare at my Fletcher buy button for another few weeks :'( -

I think I am the only one here who loves the German BB (my primary BB line) and Royal Navy cruiser lines (my primary cruiser line) and thinks they are stronger lines than the Soviet and Japanese DDs were before they were nerfed these last few times. Not sure how I would handle this problem though as I like the gameplay of the lines as the aggressor but understand how frustrating it can be to play against them, high tier royal navy cruisers played well are very difficult to counter and can rack up massive amounts of damage with minimal risk. German BBs require much less thought as the risk is very easy to mitigate in comparison (you have to put yourself in a risky situation, where as the RN cruiser must be led away from risk at all times). I feel like the RN Cruisers at least require a ton of forethought to play well and would like to see this extended to other lines but this will not be possible unless the reward is also greater which means the ships still end up being horrible to play against when facing skilled captains. TL;DR New lines are stronk, I have no idea what to do about it. -

The thing that makes me hit torps most of the time is not the Bismarck's rudder, when it works that thing is amazing. It's the damn rudder shift bug. Fix it already WG. Then buff torpedos. -

I also feel like the Bismarck is just easy mode. So far in 30 games I have a 65% (5 - 10% higher than my recent and overall average respectively) win rate with the ship, 2.2 K/D (Highest of this tier), highest damage, near 50% survivability. None of this really makes me want to play this ship however, it just feels way too easy, much prefer playing the royal navy cruisers and soviet destroyers atm. And I don't have many modules, nor did I have secondaries until very recently. Even at stock this thing is strong. -
T8 does suffer a bit recently, especially so as a cruiser. T7, 9 and 10 are the places to be.

The arcs are fairly crappy throughout the entire line, especially so with the Neptune and Minotaur. I skipped the Emerald but the Leander is a good ship and everything that follows is borderline OP. Today in 2 games with the Neptune I had 2 enemies become infuriated in chat by my play. You are almost invincible when you play the ships right and the counterplay is just don't go near the island hiding the royal navy cruiser. I think nerfs wont fix it, in fact buffing survivability might actually be a better way of nerfing these ships as it's (especially so starting with the Neptune) the incredible vulnerability that turns you into an invincible / invisible island monster. This wont fix the current playerbase of these ships who have learnt how to wield them but less people would be hardened by the flames into this incredibly annoying and seriously potent threat. -

Yup, 7, 9 and 10 are amazing, 7 is less god tier than it used to be due to the T8 missions but is still fairly good. -
This map is terrible when playing the high tier royal navy cruisers. You really do rely very heavily on terrain to keep you safe and limit your torpedo vulnerability seeing as your smoke is so small it is hard to miss you. Which normally leads to you abandoning your smoke after being rushed by a DD and then being promptly deleted by the 5 BBs on the enemy team.

Hah, really liking the Neptune after some initial reservations. Being invincible to a class of ships seems odd though. Neptune anti-air vs a T7 CV, results are predictable.

I liked the Edinburgh at first more than the Neptune. The Neptune is a much harder ship to play where as the burgh is just a better Fiji. Starting to get the hang of the Neptune now and I'm not sure the playstyle is as fun, you can never ever show yourself in it due to the citadel size so no escorting your DDs into the cap and absolutely demolishing the enemy DDs anymore. Stay behind islands and / or in smoke at all times. That said I am still having fun in the Neptune, I just feel like the smoke / island playstyle is not very risky and not as rewarding.

Just like the above, the Danae is fun as a yolo boat. Play it like a US DD before the buffs to torpedos and ambush everything with torps. The Emerald however is just horrible, skipped it after a few games making it the first ship I have ever skipped. -

It's not that great up until T6 as pretty much everyone has already chimed in on. T7 and T8 are probably OP, T9 requires a massive rethink of how you play the ships, if you thought you died quickly beforehand you will hate this ship but stick to islands and smokes and never ever (It's almost guaranteed that one of the five BBs on the enemy team will one shot you) leave them and you will do really well. Took me a good 15 or so games to adjust to the Neptune, it's unbelivable how squishy it is. Never been one shot more in this game but am liking the ship now that I have learnt to never show myself. -
I'm guessing the rudder bug is the same as mine, see torps, hold A, watch as nothing happens, look at depressed key, release key and reapply, rudder starts to move? I'm wondering if it happens when you have the inverse direction pressed when you first bottom out the other. Not sure.

The RN Smokes are really buggy, if you are going too fast you will get one puff, if you are going too slow you will get one puff and sometimes your second puff will not spawn around your ship and will spawn behind it. This and the rudder bug are the most annoying things this game has to offer. I've been getting around it by never smoking until I hit exactly 16 knots. Seems to work most of the time but of course when you are going this slow and your smoke deploys behind you, you are so so dead.
