If it showed average values, it should say "Citadel armor: 260mm". Not "Citadel armor: 40-260mm". Or are you saying that some sort of average maximum is displayed? -
I'm curious how they even managed that. Gneisenau was the sister ship of Scharnhorst, which at least implies that the armor protection was similar... and yet the Scheisenau has 2/3 the citadel armor of its sister.

NM with arty plot room 1 has 17.3km range, so it's not that much better. And you're very lucky to get a hit at that range with its dispersion. Warspite is even worse than the Bayern though, at 16.3. -

The main point of my post was that the ship's flavor text says it has the same great armor as its predecessors, but the values listed actually drop from a max of 265 to a max of 200. Also, if the stats are shown as "min - max", I'd expect it to say 40-350. Are you saying it's showing 40-"average of max"? -

It's listed in the patch notes as being available for supertesters. I'm guessing it's not entirely ready yet. -

The BB tech tree presumably won't be out for another month (until 0.6.0 or 0.5.10 or whatever the next version will be). We'll probably get some of the premiums soon, though. -

Does it differ from Admiral Hipper in weapon/armor performance? From what I see here it has a bigger turning radius, a teeny tiny bit more hp, is slightly slower on the helm (rudder shift time of 10.9s, if what you said in your first post holds true for this as well), and is easier to detect. -
Do you think Gneisenau should have 283mm option?

Well that way you keep the xp *somewhere*, so you can spend gold on turning it into free xp. Though I've no idea why you'd sell a premium anyway.

According to OP it has a speed of 29.5 kts, rudder shift of 18.28 and a turning radius of 730m. [edited]e detection though, 16.92. All of this of course, if the stats haven't been updated since OP.

Looks to me like 2 cits and some normal pens. Dispersion covered almost the entire hull of the NM at 17.2 or so km.
