It's quite easy to citadel the Tenryu, Kuma, Furutaka, Aoba, Phoenix and Omaha (and all of its variants). All have up to 76mm of citadel armor and relatively big citadels, if you so much as sneeze in their general direction, you get citadel hits.

Exustio, there seems to be something wrong with the US BB line, more precisely, the speed. T4 can reach 20.9 knots, T5-T7 can all run at 21.4, T8 at 27.9 and T9 at 30.8 (all numbers taken from Wargaming's wiki page as I'm too lazy to start the game up).

Do that. If nothing else, it's good practice for the higher tier IJN cruisers.
-
Exustio's Excel WoWs Comparison Sheet has the stats listed. 156m for the Hiddenburger.

While I have to admit that there was quite a big time gap between selling my Omaha and buying the Murmansk, I didn't miss the extra turrets in the Murmansk but did like the extra range (although while I had the Omaha, I never used the C hull, but back then it didn't give you a range boost either).

Should actually be the Imperial Russian Navy for the first few ships, then VMF for the rest. But that would be a bit confusing. At least the Germans don't have that problem (Kaiserliche Marine for WWI and Kriegsmarine for WWII, both can be abbreviated to KM).
-
They are listed in the prototype version of the comparison (linked a few posts above).
-
Things I'd change: perhaps add a light color for each navy, narrower columns, if you add colors, maybe get rid of the empty rows as well (or just leave one empty between two ships, not two). Other than that, looks good to me. Can easily compare the stats with this layout, and it gives you room on the right for comments.

How to see them ingame (link to US forums): http://forum.worldofwarships.com/index.php?/topic/51556-a-look-at-the-german-cruisers/

Kuma is like an oversized destroyer (yes, it's a light cruiser, I know). Furutaka is a heavy cruiser (nearly twice the tonnage). Better get used to more sluggish helm response times if you want to go beyond tier 6 with either IJN or USN. The main good thing about the Furutaka is that it gets 203mm guns, which can currently citadel any cruiser, lower or higher tier (provided you hit of course) for ungodly amounts of damage. It truly is a joy to watch a good salvo land. The second good thing about the Furutaka is that it allows you to practice for other heavy cruisers of any nation (positioning, aiming, angling your armor, ...) while the repair costs are still very low.

If you look at the video released today, there's the Hindenburg in action. And it's not the Derfflinger class battlecruiser, it seems to have 4x3 guns, presumably 203mm like DM and Zao. I'm more concerned with the Leipzig at tier 7, it's a light cruiser that's supposed to go up against the likes of Pepsiscola and Myoko (not to mention the MM sending it to fight tier 9s).
-
You just have to get used to it, I'm afraid. It's the same in Aoba, worse in Myoko (45s), worse or better in Mogami (40s for 155mm guns, 30s for 203mm), and back to 36s for Ibuki and Zao. Only advice I can give you here is to turn your ship (if the tactical situation allows it, obviously) to help the traverse speed.
-
From 0.4.1 to 0.5.0 there shouldn't have been any changes. And, yes, stock Furutaka is awful. Upgrade those 200mm guns to 203s, however, and it starts to become very good.

Highly amusing to me: I never got the tutorial, just the co-op battles (I started playing in OBT so I don't know if there was a tutorial in CBT) - however, a few weeks after I started playing, I got a mail with a survey from WG, where the first question was "How did you find the tutorial?".
-
I don't have a Baltimore, but on my Pepsicola, Furutaka and Aoba, I fire mainly AP (at cruisers, ofc). If I expect to see a destroyer, or if I engage a BB/CV, I switch to HE. And I'm always trying to improve my aim, to hit those juicy citadels.

So it'll have two points more, then. Ok, thanks. -

At least WoT has a tutorial. I never saw one in WoWs (though I did get a survey about the tutorial in my mailbox a few weeks after I started playing OBT). -
The size of the target you represent, I'd guess. But you can dodge at least.

I noticed that when you recruit a new commander, the three offers differ in rank. For the US, the rank for basic (free) commander with 0 skill points is Ensign, for the cheap one (10k creds) with 1 sp it's Lieutenant JG. For the gold one, the rank is also Lieutenant JG, but the guy has 3 sp. Does that mean that if you get a commander with gold, will he have 2 extra sp once you level him up to the cap? Or is the rank displayed on the recruitment screen just incorrect, and the commander is actually a higher level one from the start? -
Sorry, what I meant was to point out it wasn't shown in the ship comparison table. Edit: I saw a while back that you were considering a different format for the comparisons - I saw one I liked here: https://www.themittani.com/columns/world-warships-weapons-guide (sadly, they only made it once and are not updating it - and I'm too lazy to do it myself).

I think iDreamliner is talking about the camo-like skin the Atago comes with. It's purely cosmetic, and gets overwritten by the camo consumable.
-
IIRC they said that the actual times didn't change, but that they were only displayed incorrectly on the dock module stats screen. Also, didn't the Omaha get a main battery range buff with the C hull?
-
Yeah, so did I. Need to upgrade it, then it becomes FUN.
-
My apologies - for the first question I meant the choice between Damage Control System Modification 1, Propulsion Modification 1 and Steering Gears Modification 1.
