Mhm. The "we want to avoid jumping gun calibers through the tiers" excuse seems a bit weak, when you look at the Russian/Soviet cruiser line. As for the shotgun accuracy - I don't have high tier BBs on the live server (Kongo and New York are the highest), but from what I've seen on the test server recently, the dispersion of Scharnhorst seems to be comparable to what a Colorado might achieve if you buy the 16% range increase US-BB-only module, and at a similar range. -
Mhm. Just barely (5%-ish) above Colorado and Nagato... with presumably far worse penetration and definitely worse dispersion (than the Nagato at least, I don't remember what the dispersion on a Colorado is with that US-BB-only module for 16% more range).

Well, according to reddit, they did decrease AP damage to 7600 on PTS for Scharnhorst.

Fantastic. Now the Scharnhorst will have only slightly more DPM (234900 will drop to 205200) than Nagato and Colorado (191520 and 198400 respectively) with presumably far worse penetration and dispersion that covers the entire battle area except for the ship you're trying to hit. My desire to buy the ship is quickly dying. -
I think they lengthened the hull to fit the 380s.

On PTS the entire German BB line is present. With the research button replaced by a "SOON" sign. The modules are visible... with the stats again replaced by a "SOON" sign. I did see several premiums, though: Scharnhorst, Dunkerque, Flint. -

I suppose this guide will have to be slightly altered for 0.5.9, with Situational Awareness being removed? Or maybe just DDs, since every other ship type has BoS for an alternative choice anyway... -
Which sucks. I was looking forward to it. I can't wait for the reviews from EU/NA community contributors, maybe it'll be changed slightly by then.

Don't forget 1 tier lower, so not much chance of encountering tier 10 stuff.

It could be that he didn't have the Atlanta locked when he fired the first turret (though I think it's unlikely, since the second turret fired immediately after). The next 4 shots at the Atlanta have a reasonably tight spread.

According to this, it's 2.0. They could be wrong, ofc. How can we check that, anyway? And regarding the +20% secondary range module, was it removed from all German BBs or just the tech tree ones? I noticed that they put the premiums up on the official wiki today, and the Scharnhorst and Tirpitz both have it listed (though their base secondary range is only 5km or less, not 7). -
Mhm. I've no intention of buying it on the first day it's released, I'll wait for people to review it. Edit: seems the premium Germans are up on the official wiki.

Sigma 2.0 sounds nice. Especially since it was stated in another topic (the one by Darth_Glorious about the German BB tech tree) that all German BBs have sigma 1.8, except for König (though the German premiums aren't mentioned in the post, and it's possible I applied that sigma to them by mistake).

Well, HMS Dreadnought did turn the battleship world on its head when it launched. And since the starting battleships are the first dreadnoughts built for their respective navies (though I'm still convinced that HMS Dreadnought will be a premium and the RN line will start with HMS Bellerophon), you can't really go (far) below that. The cruisers will eat you alive. Hell, even the patrol boats at T1 will eat you alive.

Kawachi class and South Carolina class were the first dreadnoughts for IJN and USN, and they start those BB lines in WoWs, same as the Nassau will for the Germans. But due to its prestige, I'll be surprised if HMS Dreadnought isn't a T3 premium, with the Bellerophon class as the normal T3. -

Well, SMS Nassau was the first German dreadnought, it's fitting that it starts the line. -

Wasn't the spread changed so the fish now run in parallel, and not fan out as they used to?

I think tajj7 mixed up captain skill (which takes off 12% for cruisers) and the equipment. It's still 10 and 12%, just the other way around.

Increase and then decrease the size of the minimap, that seems to fix it.
