BBs should see their long range accuracy dramaticaly reduced if you ask me, the game would improve a lot with that change.

I know lots of BB players cried to nerf DDs in the past (and im sure some still do since this is world of battleships), maybe with some legitimacy, but right now DDs have too much weight on their shoulders and i guess the constant spawn of threads like this one are proof of that.

If these threads pop up daily, maybe there is something wrong with the current meta... Few weeks ago for example, was in my Z-46 around a cap (not inside) and spotted a worcester with stealth build, instantly got radared by him and started to actively dodge and retreat to a safe distance. In the meantime a montana from 19km landed some AP hits on me and did 17k damage, destroying my ship. The worcester last known position was in another cap btw.

I agree with the OP, DDs are horrible to play now, they used to be my favourite type of ship but right now just sold all of them. Thing is, with the prevalence of radar/sonar, the overnerfed torps (specially for IJN) and the extremely effective BB AP, you need too much skill or luck to be effective on them. Imho the easy fix for that would be no magic radar that can see through land masses, had many games where 2 DM parked behind an island and synced their radar, automatically meaning 2 flags denied.

I would like to see reallistic radar too, maybe increase it's range but make it unable to see through land masses (same with sonar). Right now, at least for me, playing DD's is becoming less fun with the invasion of radar cruisers and BB's (sadly) that appeared in the last months to a point where i stopped grinding this kind of ship.
