    I understand what you mean, i was just talking some type of idiot reply or people using WR to create noise in topics but my post wasn't nicely put i must confess, It looks i'm very good at passing the wrong ideas while i'm not so good at trying to resume my ideas...     I play DDs but Amagi is next on my grinding, i only play BBs to get that ship as i find it really good looking :o. In the Nagato, most of the times, i used mostly HE to fire at CAs. Thanks for your reply next time i will use multi quote...

    1200 shells to sink a real ship is a good deal in real life, in WoWs you would pay way too much credits for the ammunition ;) Thanks for replying

    Can't this game have some sort of harder to play type of battle? Other games have realistic or simulation battles that work well. I'm sure this could be done.

    I may have exagerated my words and complicated a lot but i'm really bad at resuming text. Like i said before, i'll stick for a while with DDs, at least i know that if i fail or hit, it's not going to be because of the torpedo turning left or right. Thanks for your reply.

    Criticism can be non-constructive if it serves no purpose at all, that's why constructive criticism exist. I was talking about hate and stupid replies, not about "normal" criticism, good or bad. Deliberately trying to miss is when i aim at a spot that doesn't make sense to get a hit from, if i consider the previous shot, and i still get the hit. (English is not my native language so i'm not sure this last sentence makes sense). Thanks for your reply

    Top Tier DD Infestation

    Probably, in the end of those battles more than 300 torpedoes were launched. Probably less than 10 torpedoes have hit random targets. Probably there won't be a lot of DDs floating, if any, in the end of the battle. Probably most of those DDs weren't Shimakazes or Kageros. Probably when there's a lot of DDs, most will be from other nations with small range torps. Probably BBs and CAs are going to be sunk by other ships other than DDs. Probably the only thing BB captains retain in their memory are the ships they can't control as much as they wanted.. Probably i've seen a lot of battles with 7 BBs and 1 DD on each team. Probably BBs do more damage than any "dangerous" Shimakaze. Probably BB captains are so used to being spoiled that they think is "horrible" to get hit by 1 freaking torpedo once in a while. Probably it's as easy to dodge 100 torpedoes as it is to dodge 6. Probably CAs and BBs start to run away form DDs at the first sight of torpedoes instead of going with a CA and maybe another DD to hunt down and sink the enemy DD. Probably it's much easier to get rid of DDs than most captains think. Probably those "ferocious" IJN DDs will loose a lot of credits, even if they sink 2 ships in a battle. Probably they won't even sink 1 ship, let alone 2. Probably DDs have more premature endings in battles than all others classes combined. Probably some captains complain about the wrong things or don't have any reason to complain at all.

    Kamikaze-R is ok for ship collectors, other than that it's just a nerfed Minekaze with a nice skin and 30% more XP. Sold mine already, it's a "meh" ship, need the credits for other ships.

    I'm being more careful now but i think i'm re buying the Nurnberg so i can painfully grind to the Hipper. Even with horrible manouverability it seems to be the best Tier VIII CA and plus i also like the guns on German cruisers.

    - Gltiches with water like a lot of captains (water ripples that follow my ship) - I've seen islands in the sky - Sometimes, battle lags for a moment (new PC, new Win10, new install and good quality connection) - Sometimes i wait 10 seconds to enter a Battle that started 1 minute ago (is it supposed to be like this??) - Game translation to Portuguese is awful. It reminds me of those cheap chinese products with the manual in "inglich". It's ridiculous. - Gaming session always ends with a fatal crash. This game is acumulating memory in some cache and it's not freeing that memory so after some battles it freezes and as i have a piece of crap Win10, i can't even ctrl-alt-del because the game has always focus instead of task manager, so i have to phisically restart PC. This sucks big time and has the potential of messing up my HD.

    Is the Mogami just a big citadel or what?

    I've played quite a few battles with Myoko and only a few with the Mogami but this was a while ago, now i re-bought the Mogami and it feels like it's more prone to get hit in the citadel than before. The game has changed a lot since then, so maybe i just need to adapt. Even with all this, i am able to earn some credits with this ship, unlike Kagero or even the Fubuki.
  15. What the hell is wrong with damage compensation? Fix this... once and for all. Just put a freaking "Punish Team Killer/Forgive Team Killer" option. In case of punish he pays full DMG+EXTRA compensation, I can't find a better, more logical explanation for this. It's so unfair. Not even one minute into the battle i get hit by 4 friendly torps (at like 500 meters...), almost at the same moment i get shot by an enemy Atago that took 1.7K from me and that was enough to sink my ship. So first thing, there's no way i can find out who launched those torpedoes unless i see the prevaricator launching them, so the TKiller just shuts up and gets away with it without even a "plays poorly" report. Then he pays a fine of 51K and, not only i get a "You haven't prove yourself in battle" prize, as i even have to pay more than the TKiller! I get -55K repair costs! How can this happen? Facts: I was TK (not tk but same thing) I sink with 1.7K dmg He has full HP I loose any possibility of earning XP or credits He continues to play and earn XP and credits Battle ends Maybe he sinks 1 ship. He pays 51K dmg compensation He has a profit any way. I receive 51K compensation for dmg I pay 135K dmg repair. I finish with minus 55K credits. He finishes with a profit and goes to his next TK laughing hard at me.

    I'm not sure i understand what you mean. If i kill myself how can i have some advantage? The idea is that TKiller only pays damage he has done, not all damage. The TKilled still pays for the rest. In my example i wasn't team killed, i was hit by 4 fiendly torpedoes and after that i was inflicted 1.7K dmg and sunk by another ship. The ship total repair is 135K so 1.7K dmg could never be 135K minus 51K compensation. There's one more thing. If i go into the path of some friendly torpedoes on purpose i must remember that, first, i will only be compensated for the damage those torpedoes inflict on my ship. I would always earn more by getting sunk fighting then by suicide, and second, if you throw yourself into some friendly torpedoes, don't be sorry for that friendly captain having to pay compensation. The good rule to follow has always been "you can only launch torpedoes in a way that, even if that friendly captain wanted it, he could never reach them." Edit: i said the fine should be payed to WG not the player TKilled...

    Having the option to Forgive/Punish should work well. Most of the times people will forgive, but the TKilled should never pay full repair. Forgiving would mean not getting some kind of fine. There's also another possibility. I should have received full dmg compensation and those 55K that i ended up paying could instead be transformed into a fine to TKiller, with a few adjustments based on the Tier of his ship. Forgive - Player has 0 repair costs - if a Tier X is TK by a Tier VIII, this last ship would be fined 80% of the total cost instead of 100% on a Tier X TKiller. Punish - Player has 0 repair costs - same as the previous but the TKiller would pay a fine (to WG), again, based on his Tier. A fine or some knd of penalty. Anyway, giving fines or not, making the TK pay or not, the "victim" should never pay for loosing xp, credits and 20 minutes of his life

    So WG says in last article that changes to how TK is handled are going to be made in near future and it looks like they want the community to have a word in these changes, now that is something nice from WG. I wonder to what point a player that pays premium or have premium ships can be suspended, i didn't read all the license agreement but i wonder if such a player can take some kind of legal action if suspended or punished.
  19. The problem is that BB players are extremely passive at high tiers and CA players are extremely scared of fighting. I always try to face DDs and go in their direction, this is when i have, at least, one DD and one CA as support. But then i look again and the CA is running away from the DD (!?), i see this a lot playing as a DD, sometimes, with 4 torpedoes you make 3 or 4 ships turn around and you ask yourself " why the hell BBs and CAs are already turning back? They could easily deal with me, if they wanted...". Sometimes i feel like high tier battles are just captains running away from each other. I'm not afraid of letting my BB get hit by 1 or 2 torpedoes, usually it's other ships that sink me, DDs must be the class that makes the less avg dmg on my ship. The one to blame here, as it was said before in other posts, is the game mechanics that may be putting standard account players away from High Tiers, such is the ridiculous amount of damage repair they have to pay, and those who try to play agressively, like me, end up seal clubbing in a Isokaze to pay for the high tier ships losses. One thing i have to admit, i may complain a lot about repair costs but it's also true that this must be the easier grinding game in the market and that's something devs have to take into account because otherwise it would be like the public test where i couldn't even test a few Tier VIII ships as i always got matched with 23 Tier X ships.

    New Commander Perks Feedback

    Torpedo Acceleration Boost is great for the Umikaze at tier II with 7km range 2x2 torps at 53kts 2.8 rounds/min(with skill), that's better than some high tier DDs, This skill is also good for CVs. That's it. I have a Kagero and this skill is not even in my list of important skills. I think Survivability is good i get +3600HP and that makes a huge difference, especially when engaging other DDs. In tier 5 skills i'm thinking if i should give up Concealment Expert (5.4km detect.) for the Preventive Maintenance that, with the update, goes from -34% Risk Inc. of Modules to -50%... In the end every salvo that hits my DD takes out one or more modules and if i can get away with only half of the incapacitations (with the help of more 3.6K HP) i'll be a happy captain. I think this new skill tree may have apparent advantages at lower tier skills but every captain will have to make decisions and compromise other skills. You can use a few for some time but when you get to 15 points you stop using most. At that point, if you want a tier 5 skill, you can only have 1 of each and the next skills demand more than 1M XP. I think the idea is that 2 captains can have the same ship but more "customized" to their taste. Some skills did mess up some ships as i understand but you never know, things can change before the update.

    Hi i wanted to upload some gameplay videos to YT, i heard some time ago someone saying he needed some kind of authorization, or a license from WG but i can't find any info on the website. Can someone give me directions or tell me what do i need to do? Can i just send an email to WG asking for it or something? I would like to know the publishing rules or if you are limited in some way with what you can publish. Thanks

    I think players will be joining the event until the end, they may not get 260 or even 150 pearls but they do get some credits, flags and cammo along the way by completing the personal goals. It's going fast at 9M, i bet before the end of the day there will be 10M. Did you make it?

    Well this is turning out to be much easier than i thought. I got a lot of flags, credits, cammos and some more stuff still to come. This is also the most fun and rewarding event i got into since i play this game. It really gave me "a boost" and in the end i will get a Kamikaze R with a nice skin. Really nice, WG did it well i must say. I only wonder if the ships are going to be distributed in batches or all at the same time. There must be a significant number of players with more than 260 perls.
