That video comes close enough on data but not close enough on the conclusions. It's quite certain for me now that there is no such thing as vertical dispersion. Dispersion is only horizontal with sigma as probability factor (or standard variation to be more precise). What we see as "vertical dispersion" is in fact gun elevation variable. For each salvo aimed at at a certain point a certain gun elevation is required and there is RNG mechanism responsible for how far off that elevation each of the shells will be shot at. We don't know yet how it works exactly and if there is some kind of sigma equivalent responsible for the chance of the gun elevation being further or closer from the aim. But the result is that some shells will be shot higher or lower than you aim. The faster and heavier the shell - the more difference in distance in which two shells shot with the same difference in elevation will land. This means that slower shells will look like having better"vertical dispersion" than faster ones. While in fact this is just a side effect of trajectory and gun elevation. It doesn't matter how far from the target shells will land. What matters is on what height will the shell be when it reaches the distance of your target.
