Is this the worst state of the game ever?
ColonelPete replied to Humorpalanta's topic in General Discussion
It does not really matter what ships you play, but how you play them. Good play gives good results, but not always the win This morning:- 196 replies

That is not my problem when you do understand mine and keep proving that again and again As if camping in the back was special for certain ships or new in this current meta... People are doing that since 2015 and when you farm enough, you get huge damage numbers and mediocre to low winratings. What else is new?

It does make a difference, because your numbers are made up.

matchmaker Matchmaking in der Kritik
ColonelPete replied to Frighty1975's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
1% is roughly the chance for a detonation. You should have made it clear about what 1% you are talking. And no, I do not bet on made up numbers of other people.
-
Maybe that is because you do not understand what I am saying?
-
I was not stopping you. And no, my "inspiration" has nothing to do with the decision of WG. You make it obvious that you do not understand what I write and from there comes your misconception your are refuting something. And you were the one bringing up constructive criticism in the first place. I just showed you that you did not bring any to the table. That is refuting an argument.

Yes, they are not as numerous as in the past. That is the reason we have early access. But the missions needed for early access are often played with BB.

Your opinion is: Change the system back to the old system (which will not happen) or improve the old system (but you do not say how).
-
When you cannot put your thoughts into words... Keep practicing, you will get it someday

When you play badly, you lose. That is no problem of the ship or the meta. I also see no problem in the other team not playing for the win and camping in the back. There is nothing messed up about it. Even when both teams do it equally, there is no problem. The problem is when only your own team does it.
-
Constructive would have been if you explained how the system should have changed. What you do is just whining. Bold fonts are used to help you understand the important parts of my statements. It does not seem to work.
-
You complain about them changing their policy... And I explained to you WHY they changed their policy.
-
Because division results are not comparable, unless you sort them by ships used in the division and player ability in the division. Considering the huge amount of combinations possible, you would need a huge amount of battles just to be able to compare the results. Companies are allowed to change their opinion. They are not required to do what YOU want. And you just got an example how other game companies handle it. And they do that for a good reason. WG decided that these are good reasons for them too. The average players does not differentiate between marketing and advertising. As I said, we already had the complaints that the final product was different from an early preview version.
-
As soon as you give out ships for an open test or even mention a new product, it is marketing. And you a free to ask software companies what they spend on marketing...
-
Ans when you write this or using it yourself, you are promoting it.
-
No. I bet against it.
-
He complains about Dead Eye and then promotes it... My Marco Polo runs fine without it.
-
It is ineffective, when you want to win. But be my guest and start spamming HE. As long as you are on the enemy team, I do not care.
-
You farmed damage instead of taking out the enemy quickly. That is what can happen...
-
I am talking about marketing, not reworking products. Products got reworked and the companies could easily afford it, but when nobody buys the product, because of bad reputation, it is still a waste. And you fail to see that I gave two examples. Look at the examples of balanced ships from the past year and the communities reaction to them. Then you know why we have power creep.
-
No, they found out that it does not work how they hoped and that there is a good reason other companies do what they are doing. Economic history is full of failed product launches. Some of these products were improved later and became pretty decent, but never recovered from the initial bad publicity. That is why companies avoid bad publicty about a product the consumer does not know yet, because it is extremly hard to get rid of a bad reputation later. A ship that performs badly in Testversion 1 can be improved later in Version 2 and 3, but the bad performance stays in the mind of the players and endangers sales. And when it happens the other way around, people accuse you of false advertising, since there are videos of the ship performing much better than the sales version. It happened a few times.

ColonelPete replied to AlwaysBadLuckWithTeams's topic in Allgemeine Diskussionen
