    These are not technicalities, you just do not know what you are writing about. By using your ships concealment. It helps when you took care of the enemy DD first. You are either not seeing much combat or lying. Btw. when you get Dreadnought basicly every time you get shot at with HE, that would mean that in the vast majority of your BB battles you do not get shot at with HE, since you have 465 BB battles, but just 20 Dreadnought achievements (which can also get in other ships than BB...) Lets say many WoWs players do not know what they are doing. Yes, and that is a skill issue. People will camp when facing only RM BB, RM CA and RN CL and IJN torpdboats, none of which are known to be HE spammers. And the players would still camp. Apart from that we did not really have a HE rework, unless you want to revert the IFHE change, which would increase the fire chance for many ships again...

    That happens only to straight lining BB. Otherwise torps are much harder to hit. Most players have under 10% hit rating with ship torps. Only a few Unicums manage to get barely above 10%. I personally evade most torpes long before I see them. That is also the reason why many BB players do not use torpedo warning skills or modules. Ship torpedos are just a minor issue for many, despite DD being part of most matches. Sorted by damage, I marked the CV. I hope you see the pattern.

    It was not impossible. Giving up was just an easy kill for the enemy and a waste of a ship. When you consider secondary builds as worse, then do not use them.

    Then do not write as if islands are the only source of concealment: "Concealment means islands" Concealment does NOT mean islands, it CAN mean islands. Works also vs competent enemies Hatsuharu, Minotaur, Venezia,... - half of the time on fire? That are up to 10 minutes. With just one fire that is 180% of your ships HP. and 10+ fires. Sure.... That is where the skill part comes in. You use AP when it works and do not, when it does not. In these cases it would be stupid to use AP. That is logic. People do not know better how to handle the enemy and stay back. People want to play. They do not want to spend time on loading in into battle and loading back to port again. That is time they do not play. To play longer, they need to survive longer, which in itself is not a bad idea. But since large parts of this playerbase do not know how to mitigate damage and postition themselves effectivly, they stay back to make sure they survive longer. Most players focus the closest enemies, since they are easier to hit and are a bigger threat to you. By staying in the back these players make sure they are tertiary option for the enemy to shoot at. Unfortunately in case of BB this wastes the firepower of the ship and its tanking potential. When cruisers have to tank for BB, that team will lose ships faster than a team where the BB tank for the cruisers. With the loss of each ship, the team loses firepower and that spirals into defeat.
  7. Higher tier ships earn more XP. Lower tier ships just get a Bonus for fighting higher tier ships. But it is unknown if the bonus is big enough to offset the higher earning of the higher tier ships. And often the XP differences are big enough that you know that the lower tier ship did more than the rest. Not necessarily. The DD might be my Tier. You just have to better than the enemy ship of your Tier.

    first strike: you handled quite well, you should have reacted a bit sooner, but still got only minimum damage, your mistake was to slow down, that robbed you of the speed to react second strike: lack of speed led to more signifcant damage, after that you just gave up 3rd to 6th strike: you were just broadsiding the torp attacks and took full damage every time

    That happens when you look at useless ship WR. 1 or 4 battles on a ship are not statisticly relevant.
  10. Looks like some do not enjoy it as much... You see regularly that top Tier ships perform worse than bottom Tier ships.
  11. When you spam torpedos, you are supposed to hit something. 15k on a cruiser is just not enough on Tier X. Had you taken on an enemy DD, it would have looked better. And the economy of high Tier is indeed unbalanced, because it is too forgiving. Too many players play at high Tier and that messes up MM for the other Tiers. And no, WoWs left Beta years ago.

And other people do not have your island problem. For me they work fine. I can do it without. Looks like we found another skill deficit of yours. And people camp without HE spammers... Looks like you cannot even do the math. Then there is no need to change the game. People just need to get better. And until they do, the smart players have the advantage. And you still complain about HE being too strong. @Camping, see 3. Today I had a team where 5 ships on a flank stayed back vs 2 enemies (none of them was a HE spammer), 2!! Fun fact, our ship in the front was a Minotaur with paper armor, while 3 BB stayed back. One of the BB spawned on the other side of the map and sailed across the whole map to get there. He did not want scratches on his Yamato. He finished 4th place from the bottom... - It IS a skill issue.

    Do not spend, just play. Works fine. You do need to get every ship today. I play for 5 years and do not own all tech tree ships.

  15. Being -1 is enough for that, as this is not limited either. For me it is usually quite balanced. It is rare that I only face +2 ships on my flank. It is the battle numbers per Tier. The higher the Tier, the more battles are played there. The more lower Tiers get uptiered. When you want short waiting times, there is no other solution.
  16. That is enough for 20k battles. And you are not playing uphill or downhill as the enemy team has ships of the same Tiers as yours.

    When you play a DD counter and support your DD, the number of times they can ruin your match is reduced significantly. And when you look at the season numbers, the average number of DD per team is around 2.
