Even with these changes, subs will still not have a place in Random. The problem is not power, but gameplay. It changes too much for other classes. Just the amount of planes in the air make the average Random battle look like the Battle of Midway.- 21 replies

Falls es Dir noch nicht aufgefallen ist, die Bomber starten nicht von den Schlachtschiffen. Die starten von Land und sind auf 24/7/365 standby... -
Damage is not the deciding factor. It depends on the success --> winrate of a ship. Initially, the RM BB were one of the toplines of the game, but since then their performance got worse as more average BB players got to play them. I would support a rework of SAP in any case.

Dazu braucht es Einsicht. Die fehlt bei 20% der Spielerschaft und selbst bei den anderen ist sie nur unregelmäßig vorhanden. -
That was not his argument. He claimed that "There is nothing to like or dislike." about Subs as if liking them does not matter. And all DD do not have that either. The faster a DD and the more HP he has, the easier the DD is to spot. The point is that you cannot sink them, even when you have the upper hand. You have to wait till their diving energy is used up and that reduces the dynamic of the game even more. And when they are only DD hunting the Sub, you cannot even fight it even when it is fully submerged 5km from you. That way BB are even better Sub hunters than DD as DD have to move above the Sub first. And Subs are not that slow either. You can still hit a DD moving at high speeds. A DD using main guns is usually easy to counter and smoking allies usually works only in divisions, which in turn completly counters a subs disadvantage of not spotting when deep diving. Yeah, when players move straight forward, it happens. But with these players it does not matter if they play subs, DD, Cruisers, CV, BB or Tankers. The results will be quite similar. They still have to take longer routes, unless you are player from point 5 A Sub can still dive and a Sub outspots more ships than DD. It is still splash damage. Otherwise Subs would be extremly hard to hit. Just recently I aimed in front of a Sub, but the shells hit behind the Sub. Took me three salvos to notice that I was not hitting behind, but in front of the sub, it just looked that way because of the perspective.

Nobody said anything about caring about every customer. Subs can be invisible to Radar, Hydro and RPF right next to you... No DD can do that. And Subs are even rarer than DD, so it is quite easy for a Sub not to run into them, when you do not want to. DD have to take to longer routes, thanks to be being more visible. That is what their speed is for. Still does not help you when you are in Radar range and sailing in the wrong direction and evasive actions slow down DD quite a bit. And when you get your torp launchers knocked out from a hit that did not damage your ship, you know that DD can take splash damage. As I said. When the enemy is stupid enough to let the middle open, you can sail through there in a cruiser. Incompetent enemies can let you get away with anything. Who needs a dive capability when the enemy gives you room to move? Against DD you can dodge the torps and use caps as a ship detector. Subs can go through a cap without you noticing it.

I did not claim that either. That is why going behind enemy lines is a bad idea early in the game. No support, no spotting. A quite common rookie move. A good move is something that works the majority of the time. Then the company cares about people liking it.... No. You cannot sail around and over a DD for minutes with RPF, Hydro and Radar without spotting it. That is just not possible. With the a sub that can happen.

A screenshot would have shown the customer support and me were you went wrong. Talking about stuff you think you know and insisting you are right instead of showing it, will only lead to mistakes. 95%+ of the people complaining on the forum have no clue what they are complaining about... -

There is no demand, when customer does not like your product and they can get the product someplace else or do not need your product in the first place. You can create demand, when people like your product. See smartphones. Nobody wanted them, before they were invented. You can spot a DD more easily. You can push vs a DD more easily. You can damage a DD more easily. But you are... as you said yourself. As a BB you need to be in the shadow of a friendly DD or Cruiser, the distance to the enemy DD does not matter as long as you do that. As DD you only need distance to radar cruisers and in case you did not notice, people are complaining about the number of radars in game as this makes the game less dynamic... DD are effective vs Subs, when the Subs are overextended. Something you manage by baiting the Sub or its teammates. You cannot take out a Sub that is not overextended. When a DD rushes in, it usually gets sunk. Planes do not suddenly appear. A Sub player can dive in time. And we do not have CV in every sub match... We do not have good teamplay for over six years. Making that a requirement to counter Subs should make it obvious why the class is problematic. Only when you think that keeping your distance is dynamic gameplay.

Only when you have a monopoly, otherwise people will buy the good from someone else. So it would be ok to design submarine gameplay that even you would not like, you would still spend money on them? No, you cannot. You are probably missing that you get hit by multiple bombs that hit in succession. Feel free to do that, but that will not help a thing. Customer Support has not the job to deal with gameplay feedback see 2 maybe should ask them how to get the coupon see 4 -

Check if you are really getting detonated, you cannot detonate at full health. Check your playstyle as you seem to sail into bad situations too often. The Customer Support is not resonsibe for your gameplay problems. -

Have you seen this playerbase? Most of the playerbase did not learn teamplay in over 6 years. Why do you expect that this would change?
