Proposal for APC-shells
ColonelPete replied to De_Zeeuwse_Admiraliteit's topic in General Discussion
We already have these shells in game. Notice the change in drag coefficient between WW1 and WW2 shells and the change in Krupp. -
I have my doubts. And I am not arguing with you either. I was just asking you the question where you saw the argument.
-
Where is the argument? It is obvious that you hit less with less shells, despite the shells having the same dispersion. I am not so sure that a dispersion that gets smaller with range is the actual dispersion.
-
Are you guys for or against stat-based "Seasons" while still keeping life-time stats?
ColonelPete replied to TheNubination's topic in General Discussion
We already had season Ranked stats before WG changed Ranked without updating the API for the new stats format. Apart from that, the suggestion does not apply. -
Info for the uninformed: GK and Preussen have the same base dispersion and the same Sigma.

Who says you should play her as a sniper?

You do not need to code or build something to know how it works. That is not how the world works. -

As I said, you do not know how the MM works. The MM tries to fill multiple battles roosters. A Tier VIII ship can wait in line for a Tier X, IX, VIII and VIII-only battle. When you queue up in a Tier X ship and a Tier VIII ship joins after you, you see the queue numbers go up. And when a Tier VIII battle, he is waiting for, gets filled up sooner, he is removed from the queue. Apart from the fact that the queue numbers do not change in real time and they therefore show only a snapshot of the queue. And you completly ignore that when you select a ship class that everyone else is playing (BB), you have to wait a long time. Someone else might join in a less popular class (DD) after you and fill up the last spot in a battle queue to complete a battle rooster (3 DD are waiting and need 1 more DD to fill up two teams) and immediately goes into battle, while you still wait. This was all explained in detail. Looks like you are the one making stuff up, again... -

No. That is the time needed for the rest of the team to click in. If this had nothing to do with the players, every match could start one server tick after you clicked the battle button, which obviously does not happen. And I am not surprised that you still do not have a clue how the MM works. You've played over 12k battles. -

WG does not need to roll dice for the MM. The randomness come from the time players press the battle button. -

Excactly. Why do you claim it is WG then? -

Since when is you = WG? And since you did not even supply one example of a good player with a bad solo winrate, you cannot even support your own claim. -

You were talking about randomness. That is unpredictable. -

That is rather normal. First series: 2 streaks of 5 in one hundred attempts and many streaks of 4. Second series starts with a streak of 8... and has one streak of 6 and 7 and two streaks of 5. And that is a 50% chance. Take a guess how this looks like when the chances are different, because of a certain player behaviour. -

People who lack reason and common sense are often unable so see reason and common sense.

Too many people follow a digital thinking. There is only full yolo or full camping for them. A middle ground or a more nuanced approach are foreign concepts to them.

I have seen soccer matches where one player runs rings around ALL 11 enemy players. Messi would be a HUGE boost for a substandard team. I know of no game where the MM is not random, unless you are allowed to select players yourself. Games can only provide players that are waiting in the queue. Games cannot control who is waiting in the queue. And yes, when one plays very badly, the results are not so random. -

Yeah, it is clearly sacrilegious to think that ones own teams are better when oneself is better. -
They ask this for some years now... WG has promotions for veterans. https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/general-news/world-of-warships-salute/

You do not answer the questions by not answering the questions.... Nobody is forcing you. And when you want to really finish the survery, you are free to answer some questions wrong.

Then your common sense is decades behind. What do you think discount cards are for? To take part you have to give personal information to the company that is providing these cards. Then they track every purchase you make with these cards and create profiles. You pay the discounts with your personal information. You do not get the discounts because the company is so nice to you. And that dwarfs in comparison to what Google knows about you.
-
Yes. That are normal questions many companies ask their customers. When you do not want to share that information, then do not share it. For example, this is known about Porsche owners: And you can be sure the company knows more than that.
