And after 11 Torpedo and 11 bomb hits she was still functional. The final attack (11 more torpedo and 13 bomb hits) killed her, but she stuggled for 6 hours before she finally sank.

I think the reduction in turret traverse has a huge effect on game play. Cruisers are supposed to hunt DD, which are quick. As a cruiser you have to manoeuvre quickly to evade torpedos or incoming fire of BBs. If your turrets cannot keep up, you cannot fire or a forced to do gentle turns which will sink you. Of all the changes for cruisers, I think this one is the most significant. Please reconsider this change. The range reduction is not that bad, but you should think about reworking the firing ranges of some ships as you already plan with Albany and Mikhail Kutuzov. -

No. BBs do a lot more damage.

And performance of the ships did not really change. What did change was the CV meta and many people do not like it. --> less CV players. With less CV players, people start to play DD again. --> more DD players DDs are a class of ships that does not get nuked out of the water at long range by BBs. --> more DD players

Dir ist schon bewusst das Du auf die Entfernung achten musst? Bei einem BB auf 5km hälst Du zu weit vor, wenn Du auf die 5 zielst. Auf 20 km wirst Du wahrscheinlich weit hinter ihm treffen. Achte auf die Sekundenanzeige, die sagt Dir wie lange Deine Geschosse unterwegs sind. -

Depends on where you start. You should not see any torpedos for the first 2 minutes.

BBs are told since Tier III, if you have to dance around torpedos, you already did something wrong. Torpedo evasion at high tier should start a minute before you can see them.

A DD without torps, but an Tirpitz turret, would be a lot deadlier than a DD with torps.

What about shells in the air? They are a lot more and a lot faster and some can do similar damage.

The damage is not the problem, but the range. A fult hit with a salvo will normaly destroy a BB without problem. -
I did not write that. That is another important thing for discussions. You cannot claim that people wrote stuff they did not write.

Numbers. ghostbusters says they tell us nothing about a ship. But if someone tells us DDs sink whole BB fleets in one or two salvos, then we really know how they perform.

WG probably just makes up their decisions to change the ships. Maybe they use dice?

As someone already said: Maybe people play DDs in high tiers that they do not get blown out of the water by BBs. If people played only the most powerful class, they would play BB at the moment (or CV, if they liked the gameplay). @Capra76 Sure

A team that cannot defend its base deserves a loss. It is admittetly a bit underwhelming for the winners (with consumable, multpliers, signals, etc), but you get a quick win. It is not WGs problem that players do not understand the basics of the game and do not care to react even if the problem is in their face.
